It's behind a…read moreweeded area on 291, the driveway on the one side has massive potholes and it's near some seedy motels. The inside had the same sticky floors on both of my visits. They have a lock box connected to the front door. No ketchup at the table just salt and pepper shakers. You get the vibe that when it opened it was a decent looking place. The buffet is on for lunch and dinner. I think the lady said $19.99 for lunch and $24.99 for dinner. The menu has a lot of options for breakfast, sandwiches and entrees. The lady serving me was nice and friendly. She recommended a cheesesteak. It came with fries and was subpar. The roll was forgettable and although the meat wasn't terrible it needed more cheese in the mix. The fries weren't anything memorable. On my second visit I had the Philly Special which is two eggs, double of two meats and either grits or hash browns. I had my eggs sunny side up, the meat was a huge portion of bacon (bacon needed to be crispier) and sausage patties. The toast tasted old and the hash browns weren't crispy at all. The coffee I added was pretty good. The meal was just under $10 and the coffee $2.50. If your looking for a filling breakfast for around $15 you won't be wowed, but it was a big meal compared to some other local places. On both lunch visits there was barely anyone in the building. Some folks came to grab a bite to go, but pretty much empty right at lunchtime. If you need a quick stop for a bite, or a quiet place for a lunch meeting this isn't a terrible place, but they need to clean up the place. Lose the lock box on the front door and make it easier on the eyes. Don't expect much, stick to the basics and you'll be fine. They get the third star because the lady working was very nice.

I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! for a local small diner the food was absolutely amazing! When I walked in it was packed with people and breakfast was being served all around, along with other dishes. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Greek salad with oil n vinegar dressing. The portion was amazingly huge, enough for 2 . The grilled chicken was fresh and seasoned just right, not bland not overly seasoned but perfect! I also ordered the Meatloaf and double mashed with gravy. HOLD ON...STOP...this meal surpasses your expectations! The meatloaf was as if I made it in my own kitchen! It was the perfect blend of meats flavor and seasonings. The mashed potatoes are actually homemade and delicious as well! The atmosphere doesn't have ambiance . The prices are fair! The staff is professional and friendly. The owner greets you at the entrance as you wait to be seated with a friendly smile. MUST TRY! You will not be disappointed!

Frustrating late night menu Restrictions and poor management…read more. I am really disappointed with the recent service and policy changes here. This used to be a go-to spot, but the late-night restrictions make no sense. Why can't anyone order anything but breakfast after 2:00 AM? To make matters worse, they stop serving soup completely after midnight. People want options late at night, not a severely cut-down menu. On top of the frustrating food rules, the management is incredibly disappointing. The manager, Marge, is consistently rude during almost every visit. She has a terrible attitude, shows zero customer service skills, and makes an already frustrating dining experience much worse. Between the restricted menu and the hostile management, it is hard to justify coming back here.

For my entree I got the Texas toast grilled cheese with cheddar instead of American, and it was very good! The cheese was perfectly melty and the bread had a strong garlic flavor. I ordered tomato in the sandwich as well, but they did not put it in there. Our server was nice though and it's a cute pub, pretty typical pub vibes with lots of tvs around and a large bar seating area.

Since there were no available tables outside, we were placed inside in a corner table with no air circulation. The humidity felt unbearable and really played a major impact on my experience. I'm sure if I came during a mid spring day I would've had a better experience. Food: the food is the only reason I would come here again. I got a crab cake that was very robust with a fair amount of filler but had a good amount of real crabmeat. My son got the quesadilla, and it wasn't anything special. The salmon was small and flavorful. Service: also was not anything special or bad. Our waitress came by twice during our stay. It was a busy afternoon and she was working. It would've been good if they had more staff so that someone could refill our water more frequently. Like I said, the humidity had taken away from our experience. Overall, I wouldn't come here throughout the hot, humid summer months, but I may give it a second try in the winter or spring... maybe.
