Like one of the reviews say, they do overprice their items. There are about 4 reasons I have that makes this store deserve the 1 star that it does. 1. Overprice/Random prices If you ask how much a game is, they're most likely to name a price thats a little too high and that the worst part is that they price their games blindly. Meaning that they say a price without even looking at the specific game that you were pointing too. Its at a point where you have to assume that every single Xbox 360/PS3 game is $15 firm. I personally asked the price of a game, and he said it was $15. Where I could get the game at GameStop for only $10. 2. Scratched/Unplayable games If you do plan on buying disc games, make sure you check the quality of the disc before buying it. Since you won't be refunded and dealing with exchanges can be rough. 3. Blind game trade-ins (They don't check for scratched games) Most if not all of their games are pre-owned and have gone through several owners. This relates to #2 since if you wanted to trade a disc game in (with a case) , they normally wont check if there are any scratches and it would definitely hurt the next person that would want to buy that game. If you managed to trade in scratched games, good for you . Though it hurts those who buy them. Buyers be smart. 4. Little to no trade in options Back then like 2012 or so, trades were okay. Being able to trade your game for another with a little bit of money on top. Seemed good til they have no space to house any more games. Don't recommend trying to trade in your games here for other games anymore, since they mostly want to get rid of all of their crap that they just horde over the years. Maybe they should have some special sales to clear out inventory, but nope. 5. Bootleg/Fake cartridges (AT HIGH PRICES) Okay, this triggers me a lot. I see Pokemon Red,Blue,Yellow,Gold, Silver, and the Japanese only Pokemon Green? Oh but theres a catch. Take a second look and you notice that they're fake right off the bat. Gameboy cartridges usually say "Nintendo Gameboy" on them, but oh no these didn't. It says "GAME" which is clear that these were not original. Now, i'd be fine if this was at a lower price and that they would tell their customers that these are fake, but nope. They are selling it at a whopping $35 when you could get these bootleg carts for a little under $15 online on eBay or Etsy, hell you could even get bootleg cartridges on wish.com Overall, I can't really recommend this place to anyone. Only people that are desperate to get that one game/accessory that they really want and cannot find it anywhere else (You can find it, just not locally, hint* hint*) If you want GBA or DS carts, I guess this would be okay, since they charge around $5 or so which would be the amount i'd pay for it. I would recommend them to have some sort of sale to get rid of their stuff. I don't understand how they are still in business. I would want to guess that they get most of their revenue for their phone services, which I can't really review them on that. This guy sells FAKE controllers. I Bought 2 PS3 controllers in Sony marked and licensed packaging (which was counterfeit) for $30 each. After a few weeks of the controllers not working, falling apart and finding irregularities between the two I decided to do some research and everything pointed to them being fake. I opened up the controllers and yes they were indeed fake. these retail for $5-$10 online. He assured me he could get the job done, so that put me at ease. I went for a walk over to Target and even though I returned sooner than the job was estimated to take, the phone was fixed and I was out the mal in a timely manner. Asked them how much a used PS1 game was, the worker was watching tv and actually had to get up and do something for once, he told me that the used PS1 games are $10-15, yeah GTFO $15 for a scratched up PS1 game that you paid 25 cents for. The video games section is horrible, just a butload of games stacked everywhere with random prices that arent even compareable to online or gamestop. Been looking for a N64 for awhile now, Craigslist, mom and pop game stores, I had walked paced this place before when at the mall to see a movie, A shop in Modesto wanted 120$ for a N64 colored console, Everyone on Craigslist wants around $80-100 Plus you gotta go in their house to test them(that's how you go missing) I decided to buy it from this place do to their $80 price and 30 day warranty, I ended up talking to the guy( very friendly and respectful) and purchased a GameCube, of course I know used games are about 40% markup so o haggled with him, I was buying two consoles, games and extra controllers, and ended up dropping about $220, ( if you pay cash, even better deal) So I drive back to where I live, about 30 minutes away, and start to set it up, and realize the N64 does not work... So I call the store and inform him And drive another 30 minutes, He trouble shoots it and makes It work, the game I bought was dirty and after cleaning it, it worked beautify! I remained polite but asked him why he assured me its all tested before he sells it. He felt bad so threw in a free controller and half off a game for me... Which was more then enough, Life happens and they handled it extremely well.. I will continue to buy my user retro games here, Since Best Buy has the best deals on new ones Plus they price match, But long story short I've compared prices and they are very fair And take care of their customers, and always remember, the more you buy, the more room people have to discount.. This place overcharges for its games and gaming systems. Also the owner of this mall vendor have harassed and acted inappropriately on a Facebook group site that sells used goods. They have sinced been banned from the site as of 12/3/14. The owner always tries to lowball the seller and if he succeeds in purchasing the item, turns around and sells the item for a very steep price. Recently, they have tried to sell a Nintendo system (1st gen) with 2 controllers for $80 to a lady. Definitely not worth it! Consumer and buyer beware, Avoid this place at all costs! I won't even recommend this place to ANY ONE. I had went here on 6/9/18 to get my phone fixed. I had a Samsung galaxy s7 edge that I hadn't even had for over a year. I only had the phone for 3 months and my clumsy self had accidentally had dropped it at work one day. My phone was okay for a few hours and I noticed that my phone had started flashing on the bottom right corner of the screen. So I took it to a few places to get it looked at. And every single one told me that the screen that was cracked from the inside was the LCD screen that was messed up. I made my decision and I left it in this business hands to fix my phone for what I thought was a reasonable price. The guy had said that to repair the screen was $280. he told me he already had the part that I needed to replace right there with him. And I believed him because he showed it to me. And he told me it would only take an hour to fix the screen. At first I didn't want to do because the guy had only one part and it was gold my s7 edge originally was silver. So if I had let him fix the screen the front part of the phone my phone would then be gold and the back would be silver. I told him no thanks. And just as I was about to leave he said that for me to have the phone the same color on the front and back I would have to pay another 20 for it to be ALL GOLD. a color the phone wasn't originally in. he also said if HE BREAKS THE BACK OF MY PHONE WHILE HE IS TRYING TO FIX THE LCD SCREEN I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 30 TO GET ANOTHER PART FOR THE BACK. And I'm like wtf thats dumb why would I HAVE TO PAY AN EXTRA $30 FOR A PART THAT I DIDN'T EVEN BREAK?? I was ready to leave but he had offered me a deal. His deal was he'll fix the phone for $280. And he'll put the same color part on the back for no charge. And if he did HAPPEN to BREAK the back part he wouldn't charge me anything. So I thought It was a reasonable deal. I would get the phone in 1 solid color and if he broke the back I wouldn't have to pay a dime. He'll just replace the part with no additional charge. And I'm like okay that's fine. So I ended up leaving my phone there to get fix. I thought I had gotten a reasonable offer. As far as I was concerned I really wasn't too bothered that the phone would be a different color than what I originally got it in since i was going to get a phone case for it anyways I just wanted my phone to work again. I came back an hour. My phone was what appeared to be fixed. I was happy at the time because my screen was no longer flashing. I checked everything was working fine. No issues. I left my phone right as i got home my phone could not get any messages nor send them. I couldn't make calls and I couldn't even go on the internet. I wanted to go back and show him but the mall closes at 9 I picked up my phone around 8:30 So in my mind I thought maybe my sim card might have gotten scratched or dirty somehow. So I went to my phone service carrier and got 2 brand new sim cards hoping that would resolve this issue. I switched out the sim cards my phone didn't even read them. I took it to an authorized repair shop and they had told me that the back part of the phone wasn't even a part from Samsung. It was completely fake. It was plastic. Something it should not be made out of. They had told me that this dude must have yanked out the back part messing up the motherboard. and calls. Even the girl at the repair shop was upsey about this. she had said that this happens to a lot of ppl. She even noticed that the guy didn't even glue back the back part of the phone right. I was so mad. Due to my experience I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO GET THEIR PHONE FIXED HERE. IF I COULD RATE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD. He never REFUNDED my money so I CAME OUT OF POCKET FOR way more than what I've paid the phone for. He said as well that it was not his fault that my phone wasn't getting any messages or calls. Before I took it here my phone did get messages and did get calls. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT WAS WRONG WITH THE PHONE WAS THAT IT WAS JUST FLASHING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN. I ended up having to pay more to get a new phone and activate the new one. I got screwed over FOR $280. Something I paid for to get the phone fixed not to have it even more messed up. I really wished I had read the reviews for this place first. But I didn't. Huge mistake so I hope at least someone would read my review and it'll be helpful for them. Well the texting did not work! I went back and waited again while they worked on it I got the phone back and the texting was fine Next day I went to use the camera ... If I could give no stars I would. I had shattered my screen for my iPhone 5 and I had to put out money to fix it myself. I'm only in high school. So Game plus was cheaper compared to One Stop (another cellphone repair store). I got the screen fixed for $70 but right away there was a problem, my home button did not function properly, it took multiple clicks for it to work. Into my second month with the replaced LCD, the right side of the screen is coming off of the phone and doesn't not read my touch at times. I went back and told them of my problem. The guy that had fixed it the first time (not the owner) told me their products only guarantee of functioning properly for one month and that it would cost me $70 to fix it there again. No way in hell was I going to pay $70 to fix the screen again when it wasn't even my fault but was his fault and it would only work for one month. I went to One Stop to ask for a quote and they said it would cost $120 but it's because they use actual Original Apple Parts that have lifetime guarantee, whereas this spot uses Grade B-C stuff that you can buy online for cheap. The guy was also very rude, making it seem like it was my fault when it really was his fault. Definitely go to One Stop for Iphone repair, don't go cheap. read more

I had my iPad repairs at the Mall several months ago. ICell- Well needless to say the job was NEVER completed. My iPad was held for 3 full days when I was told it would be next day. It was taken to the bay area without my knowledge and I had to travel there 3x's just to finally have a scratched screen that made the iPad unusable. OK why the whole story.....because ALex and Sonny FIXED IT perfectly!!! I was given the referral by a Mall office employee. I had been by the kiosk in front of Hot Dog on a Stick but thought they were no longer there. Anyhow, Alex was awesome and didn't promise to work miracles. He said it would be next day however called me that very evening with an update. When I picked it up it looked like NEW. He was very understanding, kept the old parts to show me what they did wrong and how they fixed it properly. Not bad mouthing but simply showing me the ways they corrected the issue. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with their expertise, customer service, and follow through. I turned around and bought other items there as well. GREAT JOB GUYS.
