How does this place keep getting worse. There's a new girl working here (huskier side) and she was absolutely rude today. Came in to trade an amiibo figure (I was there the previous week and traded in a ton). While waiting I overheard her tell a customer that his membership didn't give him any discount on preorders...not a good start. When I put the amiibo down she said we don't take those. I turned around and looked at the glass display full of used amiibos (she was probably startled since she was talking on her cell phone). I told her they did and then she changed her story to "I don't know how to trade these in". And kinda put her hands up. No one else there, no fortitude to try and call someone else on how to do her job. Nothing. If I ever walk in again and she's there I'm turning right around. read more

Two fat blokes greeted me by looking at me like I was stupid when I walked in without so much as a hello. The rest of the interaction was similarly awkward as they talked amongst themselves and barely acknowledged my existence as our transaction proceeded. For my part I was nothing but pleasant and continued to be so throughout so I don't understand what I did to deserve such standoffish behavior. Other than that, transaction was smooth I just needed one thing and was out in a few minutes. I just wish the employees showed even a modicum of customer service ! Horrible customer service. Went in with my siblings and a woman with curly hair barely helped us at the register. Asked if they had a game in stock, she said no and didn't even offer to look of another store had it. Not to mention she was wearing the most inappropriate, cleavage showing top at a store with children in it. Didn't know her name because she also wasn't wearing a name tag. I really enjoy visiting this Game Stop location because they are always stocked with amazing products, they have the best customer service and keep the store fairly clean. This GameStop is a Scam and Thief. I submitted some valuable cards to have them send for PSA grading and took them 4 weeks to send out. After I contacted them about it they said it was sent out but never stated on my tracking as sent to PSA. Fast forward 4 months later they said my order was lost in the mail and will give me refund for the grading services but paid me 60% of my raw value for the cards. I know they 100% took my shit and pretend it was lost. Don't trust this GameStop or any GameStop because they are scammers and thieves. read more

I swear I was In there for like 20 minutes and everyone Including the other employees were asking him a million questions, while he was trying to multitask customer service and all kinds of other things. I bought a pre owned copy of Spider-Man miles morales for the ps4 from what looked like the manager. When I got to my car I noticed the case was for PS5 inside the case was a copy for the PS4 version and I wondered if I got overcharged. When I went back into the store the other employee helped me out and informed me and the manager that I did in fact get overcharged for the wrong version. I got a refund of the difference and the manager was silent. No apology bo thank you for catching their mistake no communication whatsoever ever. This is one of my favorite GameStop locations. The employees are genuine and in my experience, have gone out of their way to help me save as much money as I can. For example, I was trading in a game for credit towards another - he noticed and did the calculations in his head that if I used my current points to redeem a pro membership, I would in entirety, only pay about $2 as compared to $17. He did all of this quickly and promptly while multitasking with other customers in need. He could've easily just brushed it off and not gone the extra mile for me, because he was busy as hell. But he did it anyway. I wish I remembered his name. I honestly don't shop at GameStop much, especially with the era of digital copies upon us. However, when I do, this is the location I go to and will continue to do business with. read more

Ruben did too good a job today! He saw me walk in and greeted me promptly. It wasn't awkward or overly in my face. He helped me pick out a Valentine's day gift for the very picky boyfriend and I guiltily admit I got some things for myself too. He was honest about games he did know and didn't know. He didn't lie and say I know all about this game when he didn't. He had some good recommendations and I hope my boyfriend is pleased! He asked me about my membership which was expired and wanted to make sure I made the most of my savings. The other employee wasn't the friendliest and kind of kept to himself which was understandable because I came in almost 45 minutes before the mall closed. I purchase a headset for my daughter I received insurance on it and it broke I took it back they had no record of my name is email address or nothing so I had to re buy a whole new headset they were very uncooperative very nasty and I will never again shopping at store again I asked them why couldn't they find my name is email address but they said that they didn't have it they don't keep information that long. I always have a great experience at gamestop. Being a girl into video games can be intimidating but the employees are super cool (girl employees as well). I love that they know so much about games and different platforms. Midnight releases usually go really well and I like that they do raffles and giveaways, they make it into a fun event rather than just a line. read more

My kids always someway convince me to bring them here. Thank goodness it's a good location where the employees are quick to help and answer my kids (and maybe mine,lol) questions. It's pretty well stocked and clean. They have a rewards program you can sign up for and get better deals. Busy location, only two members on the clock. Conveniently located in the plaza and plenty of parking. Friendly staff and answered all our questions for an upcoming video game release. Bought a refurbished Xbox 360, got home only to find out that it didn't come with a hard drive... We weren't advised by the staff of this, I called and asked for them to give a discount if we brought it back in exchange for one that did (was told "no"). This review is based on good customer service and being a long-time customer with this location. Use to shop and spend a lot of money when they were in solano mall. I went in they looking for a marvel she hulk that has been recently released. The skinhead manager guy was nice enough to look it up for me and told me he is getting serval in, I asked him if he can hold me one I figured he would do this because I spent a lot of money with him in the past and he recognizes me. He told me he doesn't do holds and to call back and see what we can do. I was kinda shocked because him and his staff are usually friendly and helpful. Now that was Friday today is Saturday I went in there hoping to fine one and the same skinhead manager dude told me .. oh I had six of them I just sold them you missed out. my reaction was like wow! With all the money I spent with Gamestop in the past especially his store in Solano mall he could at least held me a $20 figure it's not like I was trying to get him to hold me a PS5 . My kids would go crazy without a Game Stop in town, but what makes this one so great is the staff. They actually remember all the customers. They know what systems you have, what fandoms you're into, and they will recommend things and ask if you want to pre-order. They're just amazing in the quality of attention and service they give their customers. The downside to this is you may have to wait a long time in line because they are devoted to each person who steps up to the counter (of course this is very nice when it's your turn). :) read more

Everyone here is always helpful and nice and know what's up when your looking for something for example a perfect headset for a PS3 without paying a bunch of money but still has good quality a headset should have.
