This GameStop is the best one I've ever gone to! The workers go above and beyond in their service, even when the store is consistently busy. I went in when one of the customers was giving the tall guy with glasses a really hard time screaming and yelling he was entitled to compensation for a controller or something and the employee handled it so professionally, even in the face of such indecent and rude behavior. They helped me trade in a lot of different games for a new switch 2, and gave me a good trade in value for all of it! It's amazing what these retail workers go through on a daily basis nowadays and still maintain a good attitude. Prices there are a little higher than id expected but still none the less convenient! Keep it up guys! read more

How does this place keep getting worse. There's a new girl working here (huskier side) and she was absolutely rude today. Came in to trade an amiibo figure (I was there the previous week and traded in a ton). While waiting I overheard her tell a customer that his membership didn't give him any discount on preorders...not a good start. When I put the amiibo down she said we don't take those. I turned around and looked at the glass display full of used amiibos (she was probably startled since she was talking on her cell phone). I told her they did and then she changed her story to "I don't know how to trade these in". And kinda put her hands up. No one else there, no fortitude to try and call someone else on how to do her job. Nothing. If I ever walk in again and she's there I'm turning right around. read more

Yay, video games!!!! This is my go to video game store in Fairfield. The staff is super friendly and are happy to answer all of your questions about consoles and games. They have a nice assortment of Playstation and Switch games. I also love the huge FunkoPop and assorted gaming and anime merchandise in the front. read more

Waited in line for 15min while two employees were helping one customer bring in items to trade in, one of the employees was just standing there talking to the guy about cars and how they barley graduated high school while the other actually helped the customer. The one helping said he only had 3 weeks of experience and it was obvious while the other didn't even seem like he knew how to do anything. They also didn't acknowledge any of the other customers except their friends who came in a little while after we got there. The one standing around doing nothing had piercings around his lips. Very bad customer service. Will not be returning! read more

Two fat blokes greeted me by looking at me like I was stupid when I walked in without so much as a hello. The rest of the interaction was similarly awkward as they talked amongst themselves and barely acknowledged my existence as our transaction proceeded. For my part I was nothing but pleasant and continued to be so throughout so I don't understand what I did to deserve such standoffish behavior. Other than that, transaction was smooth I just needed one thing and was out in a few minutes. I just wish the employees showed even a modicum of customer service ! Cmon fellas, you guys aren't helping any negative gamer stereotypes by acting in this way !! read more

Takes way to long with customer trading in consoles workers don't give a damn abt people in line waiting and always only one person working

I really enjoy visiting this Game Stop location because they are always stocked with amazing products, they have the best customer service and keep the store fairly clean. There's a large selection of products at great prices. I want to give a shoutout to Logan who provided us with amazing customer service, he was kind, helpful and funny! He made visiting this store 10x better, so thank you, Logan! My favorite things to come here for and shop are pops, Pokémon cards and cute apparel. read more

Horrible customer service. Went in with my siblings and a woman with curly hair barely helped us at the register. Asked if they had a game in stock, she said no and didn't even offer to look of another store had it. Not to mention she was wearing the most inappropriate, cleavage showing top at a store with children in it. Didn't know her name because she also wasn't wearing a name tag. Don't go to this store unless you want to be mean mugged and treated like an inconvenience. read more

the girl with curly hair is indeed very rude. also just want to add it is not worth trading any type of item to gamestop. it genuinely is a scam read more

This GameStop is a Scam and Thief. I submitted some valuable cards to have them send for PSA grading and took them 4 weeks to send out. After I contacted them about it they said it was sent out but never stated on my tracking as sent to PSA. Fast forward 4 months later they said my order was lost in the mail and will give me refund for the grading services but paid me 60% of my raw value for the cards. I know they 100% took my shit and pretend it was lost. Don't trust this GameStop or any GameStop because they are scammers and thieves. read more

Hey there....I actually had MAJOR problems with the Vacaville Gamestop...I called the Fairfield location, and had the good fortune to speak with the Manager, Jesse. He was so GREAT, and helped me with my Vacaville problem. Thank you SO much Jesse! Appreciate your help so much. Christine read more

Top notch service! Knowledgeable staff, great selection, and fair value for your trade-ins. I have been downsizing for a move and needed to offload some games and an old PS2 and Diego was as good as gold. The store was busy and he had the front of the store alone (manager was in a meeting) but was not phased one bit as he fielded questions, rang up customers, and even made conversation and welcomed every single person who entered the store! When the manager, Emily, was able to come from the office, she jumped right in to help and clearly knew how to lead by example: she displayed the same grace and gentility as Diego and was speedy to boot! I came in again the next day to bring more things I had discovered and was delighted to see Diego again as well as meet Josh. Josh was congenial and clearly enjoyed his time there as he spoke to customers about Pokémon cards and explained how card grading works. This store is an excellent example of how customer service should work. It is a testament to the mission and vision of the GameStop company and their leadership deserves to know how well these three individuals are doing! Will be making another trip as soon as I can! read more

My kids and I saved and saved to buy a used console for my husbands bday.Sadly we got it in the mail from GameStop in pieces. We thought the return process would be grueling so I called the store instead and Emily said we could return it in store. We were able to complete the return and with an upgrade thanks to Emily!!!She was the nicest employee, the best interaction ever.Emily deserves everything!!!Thank you Emily!!!Everyone I know will hear about how great the customer service is here at this location in Fairfield because of Emily. read more

Jesse should be promoted. I swear I was In there for like 20 minutes and everyone Including the other employees were asking him a million questions, while he was trying to multitask customer service and all kinds of other things. The whole time he totally kept his cool - being crazy nice to everyone. It looked to me like that place would crumble to the ground without him. I hope you appreciate him - he's holding it down and deserves to be treated like a star read more

The staff here is always helpful and nice. Every time I've visited they have been efficient, even during busy times.

Bought some games from here after I finally got my switch! Thanks Jesse for the easy and pleasant experience, and cheers to the knowledge he provided me! Definitely coming back here! read more

I bought a pre owned copy of Spider-Man miles morales for the ps4 from what looked like the manager. When I got to my car I noticed the case was for PS5 inside the case was a copy for the PS4 version and I wondered if I got overcharged. When I went back into the store the other employee helped me out and informed me and the manager that I did in fact get overcharged for the wrong version. I got a refund of the difference and the manager was silent. No apology bo thank you for catching their mistake no communication whatsoever ever. The other employee was nice and took care of the hinderance with ease. Thank you dude in big baggy race plants you are awesome and deserve a raise. read more

Just picked up some games I needed with a 25+ line of people and Jesse handled it amazingly. I think the impatient individuals can learn a thing or 4 from him because his customer service is unparalleled. Give this man a raise or another business will dwell in his great skill. read more

This is one of my favorite GameStop locations. The employees are genuine and in my experience, have gone out of their way to help me save as much money as I can. For example, I was trading in a game for credit towards another - he noticed and did the calculations in his head that if I used my current points to redeem a pro membership, I would in entirety, only pay about $2 as compared to $17. He did all of this quickly and promptly while multitasking with other customers in need. He could've easily just brushed it off and not gone the extra mile for me, because he was busy as hell. But he did it anyway. I wish I remembered his name. I honestly don't shop at GameStop much, especially with the era of digital copies upon us. However, when I do, this is the location I go to and will continue to do business with. read more

It's an overall good GameStop to go to. Usually everything that I get from this place the store has in stock and the manager as well as the associates are willing to help if it isn't in stock. read more

I just have to say the Jen at this gamestop is absolutely fantastic. Today, right before Christmas, store filled with people, she took care of my wife and I with ease. We had games to sell, games to buy, store credit, gift cards, and Jen was professional, sweet and knowledgable. Thanks for making us feel like our business mattered to you. Thanks for making us feel that leaving our home to do business in our community at a brick and mortar store, was worth not just our time and effort, but yours. This isn't my main store where I buy my video games but I tend to go here when I want to browse or buy a random game (either new or used) right there on the spot. Each time I've been to the location the staff were friendly and very helpful, especially when it came to finding a specific game or even cords for my old N64. hahah! read more

I absolutely love this place always can find the lasted games.Everyone is so nice me and my boyfriend love this please and we always get our games here. We are so alike how everybody that works here has a lot of product knowledge on every game that comes out love it. read more

I always have a great experience at gamestop. Being a girl into video games can be intimidating but the employees are super cool (girl employees as well). I love that they know so much about games and different platforms. Midnight releases usually go really well and I like that they do raffles and giveaways, they make it into a fun event rather than just a line. read more

Ruben did too good a job today! He saw me walk in and greeted me promptly. It wasn't awkward or overly in my face. He helped me pick out a Valentine's day gift for the very picky boyfriend and I guiltily admit I got some things for myself too. He was honest about games he did know and didn't know. He didn't lie and say I know all about this game when he didn't. He had some good recommendations and I hope my boyfriend is pleased! He asked me about my membership which was expired and wanted to make sure I made the most of my savings. The other employee wasn't the friendliest and kind of kept to himself which was understandable because I came in almost 45 minutes before the mall closed. I ended up spending over $300, but he went over the policies and warranties so I felt secure and good about my spending. read more

I purchase a headset for my daughter I received insurance on it and it broke I took it back they had no record of my name is email address or nothing so I had to re buy a whole new headset they were very uncooperative very nasty and I will never again shopping at store again I asked them why couldn't they find my name is email address but they said that they didn't have it they don't keep information that long. I understand we are in a pandemic but I'm in that store all the time and they could have giving me another headset because I did purchase the insurance for it read more

Four Stars are for Noobs. The manager of this place is great. We were talking about games and I told him about one I bought from another store 6 months ago but I haven't played yet. He said the game was so bad, he would let me return it anyway. He saved me from a bad experience, and let me buy a much better game instead. Smart management. Now I want to buy my games from him. In comparison to other GameStops, this one gets Five Stars. read more

My kids always someway convince me to bring them here. Thank goodness it's a good location where the employees are quick to help and answer my kids (and maybe mine, lol) questions. It's pretty well stocked and clean. They have a rewards program you can sign up for and get better deals. Sometimes the parking can be hard because it shares a parking lot with so many other businesses. read more

Came in to sell a system a couple days ago. One of the employees sat and was imeditating the entire time. I felt uncomfortable. I barely got anything for the transaction as well. Dan and Stan were there to greet us with a knowledge of Everything Video Games! Thank you!

Busy location, only two members on the clock. Conveniently located in the plaza and plenty of parking. Friendly staff and answered all our questions for an upcoming video game release. I would choose a different gamestop next time. Wait time in line is too long, could have been because of shift change, but store seemed understaffed. Bought a refurbished Xbox 360, got home only to find out that it didn't come with a hard drive... We weren't advised by the staff of this, I called and asked for them to give a discount if we brought it back in exchange for one that did (was told "no"). Just wasn't an overall pleasant experience... All of the equipment bought here does work well though! read more

I much prefer coming here than the Travis Blvd Gamestop anyday. Fast service with an easy to find display of the games you do want. The people here are great to learn about the new games as well as consoles and very friendly to boot. A+ job guys! read more

My kids would go crazy without a Game Stop in town, but what makes this one so great is the staff. They actually remember all the customers. They know what systems you have, what fandoms you're into, and they will recommend things and ask if you want to pre-order. They're just amazing in the quality of attention and service they give their customers. The downside to this is you may have to wait a long time in line because they are devoted to each person who steps up to the counter (of course this is very nice when it's your turn). :) read more

I usually don't purchase my video games or accessories from GameStop, but I've bought several games and my wireless playstation 3 headset from here.
