I took my mattress cooling cube to Michaels after I could not get the manufacturer to return my emails and calls for over a month. I know that they specialize in TVs and phones etc, but I thought that it was worth a try. Sandra (one of the owners) greeted me at the desk. She seemed skeptical that should could help, since she had no idea what I had brought in. She immediately agreed to open it up and "take a look" with her meter. After about half an hour of chit chat and troubleshooting, she got it working. Speculation was tat there was probably a loose wire or connection somewhere in the unit. Her process of checking all the power sources and pushing in all of the connecters as she went through, fixed the issue. Great experience working with the lady Sandra. 70" Samsung developed a line of bad pixels end to end 3 months after Purchase from Best buy. First 2 repair places Samsung assigned me two were terrible. First place reviews so bad i said no, 2nd one i called asked me if i was still in warranty and when i said yes immediately told me he had no technicians available (apparently only willing if i can be billed for out of warranty work). No such poor customer service with Sandra, great reviews online and i'm here to add to that. All she asked was for me to send her pics of the image and she's experienced to basically diagnose it from afar. Ordered a new panel which took about a week, she gave me an appointment and was 5 mins early to it. Panel swap took about 15 mins and she explains what she's doing as she works. Unfortunately, that replacement panel also had an issue with some kind of shadowing on the lower half of the screen. Told Sandra about it same evening, no problem ordered another panel and about 5 days later she did another panel swap as well all Controller replacements, basically its another new TV except to back plastic cover and legs, picture is back to 100%. Its highly annoying and time consuming when problems like these arise and having to deal with the manufacturer and strange people/vendors but the one brilliant ray of light in the process was Sandra and Michaels Electronics. When my Sony TV failed I contacted Michal Electronics to get a repair estimate. They service Sony and have been in business for decades. I gave them the model number and a detailed list of symptoms. They said they could give me an estimate, visit my home if requested. But . . . and here is the big "but": they said to save my money! Without a doubt Michael's Electronics Service is the option to go with. It's a long story, but I purchased a defected 85" Samsung TV. Initially, Samsung sent out ServiceQuick, and my gosh, did I want to punch a hole through my wall. They sent out multiple technicians to "diagnose" this issue with no resolution. They even cancelled my service ticket without my consent. After 4 weeks of going back and forth, I finally gave up and called Michael's. 72 hrs; that's all it took from my initial call to replacing the part. Sandra and Roberto are a DYNAMIC duo.- problem solvers, HIGHLY efficient, and very personable. Didn't even feel like service was being done on the TV while they were here. I have the best TV repair experience with Sandra, in comparison with the previous repair company "ServiceQuick' that they canceled once, no show once, and showed up finally after 1 hour late and asked for a video of what happened and just closed the ticket with a comment that customer is not reachable. When I called Sandra, she listened to the description and concluded that the screen is bad, she will order a new screen before coming up for repair, once the part is in, she texted me, set up an appointment, texted me a day before the appointment, texted me an hour before she will arrive, it is just unbelievable customer first attitude. When she arrived, only took her 1/2 hour to run the diag, replace the screen, and run the service test, and it is fixed, very efficient. Then I found out she is also the owner of Michael electronics and she used to work for Sony TV engineering for diagnosing TV problems. There is no doubt that she is an expert in TV repair, so if you want to get your TV fixed, don't go for the so called "quicky" company, call Sandra/Michael Electronics and buy the extended warranty so if TV has issue, it can be fixed instead of dumping it for a new one, it is better for the environment. 4 days ago NEW DO NOT BUY. I received a laptop with a different serial number than the box, and the charger was different too. I complain, they say sorry our tec put the wrong one in the box. Okay. Never got the email return label. Call again and get the return label. After printing return label, taking it to UPS... I ask when will the correct one be shipped? They say next day. Nope. Called back 3 days later.. I am p*ssed at this point. I needed the laptop last week. I asked if it's been shipped. Ohh of course. It's waiting at a CVS. Signature required. The guy told me he'd send the tracking number. He did not. I ask for a $50 credit for what I went through. They say nope, I'll give you a $10 USB hub. $50 off a $$1000 laptop is 5%. So, I had... not the best month of March. Work was going crazy, my new kitten was getting into everything, I contracted food poisoning, which led to a severe intestinal infection with gastroparesis and landed me in the ER (yikes!) and in the middle of it all, my four year old Samsung Smart TV sparked and went kaput while my son and I were watching it. Our 4 year old Samsung LED went kaput last week, and after reaching out to Costco concierge and Samsung, we found this business not too far from us in Napa. I called Sandra, and she was very patient and asked really good questions to trouble shoot what was wrong. I dropped off the TV, she helped me carry it in from the car ("I've done this before, don't worry, I know how to carry a TV",).
