The owner doesn't communicate with his employees. He will call you being rude and doesn't take ownership of his business. When I picked up my phone after over a week in which I was told 1 hour then told 4 days to order a part ( I was quoted hundred dollars then hundred and sixty. Then the part ordered was wrong and it became more expensive. I was called and texted my phone was ready. I work six days that week and I couldn't pick it up. I finally picked it up and the front desk clerk told me it was a hundred. I paid. At 8:20pm at night I got the owner being rude and yell at me that im suppose to pay 160. I told him I will come back and pay it what time that night or tomorrow. He said either or. Then he told me he was going to trust me to pay him. What??? I never tried to swindle him. He doesn't communicate with his staff. Also I was made to believe the staff member was the owner and the person repairing my phone. This was a miscommunication error on his part not mine. I do not recommend getting iPhone battery replaced here: (see also attached photos) 1) A non-genuine Apple battery is used which permanently turns on a "red badge" and warning message in your Settings 2) The battery health capabilities will no longer work (i.e. Maximum Capacity and Peak Performance Capability) 3) The trade-in value of the phone will likely be null (even when you reset the phone, the Settings will still show that red badge / message about a non-genuine Apple part 4) The repair price ($109) is no cheaper than going to an authorized Apple repair shop, which unfortunately I did not know is easily available at a Best Buy. You can also send it directly to Apple for this price. 5) When I brought this to the attention of the owner, his answers were dismissive (i.e. the message eventually goes away; trade-in value is not affected). Since the warranty is only 30-days, he knows that by the time most people figure this out, the warranty has expired (not that the warranty helps this situation anyway). In summary, you are not saving money by going to a strip mall shop and will end up with a de-valued iPhone with a non-genuine Apple part. For me it was live and learn, and hopefully this review can save you the same mistake. read more
