My neighborhood shop sent me to Computers Corners. My 2017 Mac laptop just stopped working and there were some files I need that hadn't been backed up. In short, Bassem at computer Corners diagnosed the problem as the motherboard but was able to retrieve all my files. I just finished transferring them to my new set up. What seemed like the bleakest day was saved. It was interesting to watch him work and try various solutions. In the end, he saved my files and gave me advice on what to get next and how to use Time Machine for backup. The process was reasonable too. read more

I went to him a few years ago to fix my macbook pro 2020, there was a problem with the screen glitching. He was able to fix it in two days, back in 2021-2022. I went back for the same issue this year in 2025, but unfortunately whatever happened with getting the screen fixed, a power failure happened instead. He didn't charge me for the repair, and he offered me to buy a refurbished 2018 macbook pro. Honestly, I ended up just buying it because I needed a laptop to wfh. What I didn't like was him trying to guilt trip me and reason with me that he isn't gonna make money off selling me the macbook pro. He was gonna charge me $350 for that and I got him to give it to me for $325. Like im already out of my laptop, couldn't have my data recovered AND im settling to buy an older model? Mind you, my laptop worked perfectly fine, when I used an HDMi cord and used my tv screen as an alternative but whatever happened when he fixed it caused it to die forever. I still think $325 was too much for an older model of the same laptop. But he tried his best to reconcile. Im still annoyed he tried to guilt trip me tho because you fixing / repairing screens and computers all day so don't be tryna tell me you losing money because of this when MY ONE AND ONLY LAPTOP DIED FOREVER IN YOUR CARE, and obviously I don't got it like that for where the money comes out of thin air and I can buy a new one on the spot. and thats crazy, i would still recommend him to people to get their laptop/cell phone screen fixed but ugh never again for me. read more

Bassem has worked on 2 of my laptops & fixed both. 1st Dell laptop needed a new plug-in socket that wouldn't make contact with the plug & so not charging. I lived with fiddling around with it forever. What a relief when Bassem simply put inside a new port. 2nd Dell has top left laptop hinge come apart. I walked in with a busted hinge on my laptop expecting to have to order a new part and be without a computer for a week or so, but the owner said I could either order the part or get a "workaround" if I wasn't concerned with it looking bad. I figured it was an older laptop anyway and I'm not much of an aesthetics guy, so I asked for the workaround. I paid 60 dollars and walked out of there in less than 20 minutes with the computer completely fixed. I bought a computer from Best Buy! I was having hard drive issues, I took the computer to the Computer corner store to have it diagnosed and The computer turned out to be a lemon. The owner gave me instruction on what to do and how the problem can be handled, and also found the same exact computer, but better than what I purchased from Best Buy, To too it off he sold it to me for a fraction of the cost that I originally paid.. My MacBook would not turn on and after going to Apple to have them diagnose it, they suggested getting a new hard drive. However, I could not loose my pictures and important files so I was so stressed out. I ended up finding this place on yelp and decided to give him a call to see if he'd be able to do a data backup. He offered for me to bring it in so he could take a look and try his best. I decided to take it in and when I got there, the owner greeted us and was a nice guy. You can tell he knows his stuff because he was able to diagnose my computer and tell me what needs to be done and that he would try his best to get all my stuff out and offered a hard drive as well for a really good price (better then the other places I called). After a day or two he let me know that he was able to do data backup and gave me the price and everything and asked if I would like to proceed. I decided to go with it because he knew I was a student and was able to help me out a little bit more since I was hesitant in the beginning. After a few days he called me that it was ready so I went to pick it up. When I arrived he showed me what he did and turned it on to show me all my pictures and files and everything to know he restored it. He also gave me back my old hard drive to keep. It was a smooth transaction. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could due to his kindness and knowledge. He definitely charges less than what he knows and what it's worth but it helps people more then anything so I know he will get good karma for it. read more

This man is a RIP OFF!!! He quoted us $300 to repair our laptop. Then It literally broke down again within less than a week!! He agreed to fix It again and quoted us $150. Then changed the price like nothing to a whopping $500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! then he had the audacity to say that we're the ones "playing him" like how in the world is that possible!? I'm not breaking the laptop for fun!!! I NEED this laptop for work! For something that I need to help pay my bills! Why would I ruin my own income!!!?? If It broke in a week then that means the job was POOR. Own up to your mistake and don't take It out on the customers who are struggling to make It through!! I went in to get my MacBook Pro 2015 to get fixed last Friday because the keyboard wasn't responding and the keyboard lights weren't working anymore so I went here and Bassem told me judging on the damage, it would cost me $220 and take about a week to get it repaired. Yesterday, I took my old Toshiba laptop to Computers Corner. It was damaged by some water as well as being an older laptop (ahem 7 years). Baseem assessed my laptop in 15 minutes. He determined that my battery and motherboard were toast. He advised me to look for a new laptop because replacing the motherboard and battery would be expensive. So, Baseem removed my hard drive and provided me with a usb device to extract my information. My cost was $45. Although he couldn't repair my laptop, I was extremely happy with the service. Parked out front walked inside handed the gentleman my phone and said it's got a big crack in it. The gentleman took the phone and with his finger nail popped off the protection screen, which had the crack in it. Holy moly. I bet I could have done that.
