She put on the new screen on my iPhone and it wouldn't turn on anymore and she had no answers for what was happening. Would give 0 stars if possible. Took my ipad in for a new battery because it wouldn't hold a charge. Well they broke my iPad, it would not operate properly, did stuff randomly and on its own. Obviously some kind of pressure issue from them not re-installing the screen properly. Decided to give them a chance to 'fix' it. They had it for 6 months, did not fix it and would not give me a refund after Johnny promised they would. Worst customer service ever. Not only did they make my ipad non-functional, but the battery that was installed did not hold a charge better than the old one they 'replaced'. I cracked my phone screen and had this bright idea to fix it myself. So I ordered the parts on Amazon and watched a couple YouTube videos and attempted to fix it. Two hours later... my phone was literally in pieces, my phone screen was still cracked, AND it turns out that I ordered the WRONG screen. So I finally decided to right my wrongs and bring my phone to a professional. I had about 15 loose screws and my phone was completely undone. (Seriously it was in pieces) my home button was off, the front camera was off... it was a mess. The owner of the store fixed my phone within minutes and fixed it at a really good price. He was super nice and we had a nice little laugh about my terrible attempt to fix my phone. Moral of the story: always bring your phone to a professional. 6 weeks later and my iphone 5s is still as good as new. Jonny came to my work to fix my shattered iphone screen 6 weeks ago. He was incredibly friendly, competent and sincere. He was willing to show me step by step how he was going to repair the phone, but I needed to get some work done so I opted not to watch his work and trust his services. My coworkers also found him helpful and he was friendly to them despite their frequent interruptions to ask him questions about their own cellphone issues. After my repair, I noticed a slight yellow smudge on the iphone screen whenever there was a white a background (such as while looking at email), Jonny came back within 5 minutes of my phone call and replaced the new screen! Customer satisfaction is definitely a priority for Jonny. I chose Jonny based on convenience, $85 price and the one year warranty. I had made several calls in the Fairfield area and all of the cellphone repair stores/kiosks were $100 and definitely did not provide a one year warranty. On top of all that, he is a mobile repair guy so I was able to get some of my own work done while he fixed my iphone. I was so impressed with Jonny and his business, that I connected him with my boyfriend to explore a future business venture. Jonny's the best! I cracked my iPhone 5s screen about two weeks ago. I initially called on Monday and left a message but he didn't get me back (he told me he had car issues that day). Worst phone repair experience ever. I could write a novel about everything that went wrong but I'll spare you guys all the ridiculous details and just give you the main points. My phone was sent out across the country to get fixed because he couldn't do himself. He "highly" recommended this guy so I reluctantly agreed since I had no other option and didn't want to pay $300 for a new phone. I paid $169 and was told at the most I should expect to get my phone back within 4-6 weeks. I got my phone more than THREE months later and it was NOT FIXED. Frustrated. I really wanted to use this business because of all the rave reviews. unfortunately the man running the business was going through a personal matter and kept giving me the run around. I understand that life happens, but when your are trying to run a reputable business, maybe you should think about putting it on hiatus until you can keep commitments. Uh yeah, nothing really to say except if you need to fix a broken screen, take it to Jonny. My wife dropped her phone on the concrete garage floor. Boom, totally cracked. She was so sad to show it to me. What makes it worse is I bought her a cheap screen protector a while back, but, she didn't like the feel and had me take it off. Lesson learned. Anyway, I found Jonny on Yelp, saw the great reviews, called him and set up a same-day appointment for my wife. She was in-and-out in about 15 minutes, all fixed! She said he was very nice, took her right in (she was even about 10 minutes late), and even helped her put her case back on (she was afraid she would break it again, haha!). $125 is not cheap, but, cheaper than buying a new phone, cheaper than getting it repaired by Apple, less than the deductible if you have insurance, AND he was super fast. I've gone to Jonny twice for both iPhone and iPad screen repairs. The first time was mid 2016 to fix iPhone 6 and iPad screens. I made the appointment online. It's very straightforward and I got a confirmation text from him. He came over to my house to repair my phone which was very quick. It probably lasted longer than usual because he's also friendly and personable. Nothing wrong with that. As for my iPad, he had to bring it back to the office as it's usually a 24 hour turnaround to fix iPad screens. When I picked up my iPad the following day, I mentioned to him that I noticed a slightly greenish hue on my phone. He took a look at it and took my word for it because I'm used to looking at my phone, and he replaced the screen for me. He would've probably kept on changing it if I still wasn't satisfied but the newer one was fine. The second time I went to his office was in November to have the iPad screen fixed once again. I made the appointment again online and was even able to change it a few days later. I had to reschedule the new date again because I got sick but wasn't able to do it online so I texted him. He totally understood and told me to text him when I got better to reschedule. This time, I dropped the iPad to his office as he is working out of his office more than driving from house to house these days. Again, I dropped my iPad off and also had my glass screen protector replaced since there was a hairline crack bothering me. Jonny said he could have it ready by the end of the day but I'd be out of town by then and told him I'd come back the next day to pick it up. The iPad was just as new! Jonny is a young man with his very own business. He's very professional and pays close attention to details. I'd recommend his services to anyone that needs to have their iPhone or iPad screens repaired. With very young kids, I'm sure I'll be needing his services again. Ha! read more
