If I could give 6 stars, I would. So, I recently bought a Nintendo Switch 2, in which I needed to put a screen protector on it. Me being the person with butterfingers in the family, I have no business trying to do something like this. I had bought a 3rd party tempered glass screen protector from Amazon, and I was weary even with the easy application tray it came with. I found ALX through Yelp. I saw the great reviews, so I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Alex, who asked me a few questions about the screen protector-- and said to bring it in, and they would do it for free. I was shocked to hear "for free", and immediately took them up on it. I was helped by Tommy when I went in, who was super friendly as I explained the screen protector situation. The whole experience took less than 5 minutes. The screen protector was on-- and it looked perfect. HUGE sigh of relief. He said that if anything happened to the screen protector, I could bring in the 2nd screen protector it came with and they would reapply it again. But i brought in my wife's phone less then 2 months ago to fix her shattered screen which he did only for us to have to bring it back today which is still UNDER WARRANTY! For him not to be able to fix the screen UNDER WARRANTY and charging full price again because of damage inside the phone which was caused apparently out of thin air causing the phones "touch" mechanism to not work properly. The thing that makes this place stand out is the top notch communication and customer service! Every time I walk in the door, or any customer walks in the door for that matter, the employee at the front greets them courteously, and if they are with another customer/busy, they kindly tell the new customer that they will be with them in a second. When they go over what they are going to have to do to fix/repair whatever you bring in, they give you a general breakdown of what they are going to do, which makes me feel at ease that 1. One of the fans for cooling my laptop computer was failing. It sounded as though the hard drive was grinding bearings but instead I got a diagnostic message for overheating. My first thought was to have these people work on the computer, since they did such great work in the past. I requested a quote over Yelp and they gave me a ballpark figure that seemed amazing. They were inexpensive the last time, also. When I went to the store, I was greeted and we discussed the problem. After opening the case, he brought it out, so we could determine which fan was the problem. I opted to change both, just in case. Also, one segment of the battery was bulging, so I wanted to replace it also. After two years, it shouldn't be that bad, but it's more and more typical that these batteries have a short lifespan. Conveniently, they have a system to send text messages for status updates. It works well. They finished the work very quickly but it needed a second look as the new battery was only reporting 63% of original capacity. They went back to condition the battery and alert the system to the replacement. As usual, I'm quite pleased with their work and their prices. read more

I've been to this place twice. Although the gentleman working there is polite I recently found out from another repair company that they tampered with my camera, was missing a bunch of screws and lost a speaker part of my phone on the top, I can only speak to people on speaker phone. The day I picked up my phone from this place a couple months ago I called right away and let the man know my phone wasn't working unless I put it on speaker to hear people and he blamed it on my phone screen being shattered. I should have taken it back right than and there but I believed him. I'm incredibly pissed they weren't honest, to me it sounds like someone dropped pieces of my phone on the ground and they quickly put it back together.
