I've never once had a negative experience here, which is more than I can say for most chain retail stores. Products are organized in a mostly tidy manner, with my only issues materializing when I look for especially old used titles. The staff is extremely friendly, talkative and attentive. They've never been rude to me, but that's likely because I'm a humongous nerd myself. And possibly because I'm female. Can't help that, I suppose. Either way they don't come off as the type to be especially disrespectful or anything less than helpful. Don't even bother trading old games in though-- you'll get pocket change if you're lucky. read more

Honestly customer service was really bad. Came in to do a simple 1 item purchase for less than $20. Overheard the manager (black male; frizzy hair uncombed beard) talking poorly of his employees and overall snarky attitude towards customers asking simple questions. If he is the manager or "team leader" game stop really needs to do better. Won't be coming back to this GameStop. read more

I submitted pokemon cards to be sent to PSA and they said they got lost. I was eventually given a refund and compensation for the cards but I would have much rather preferred to receive my cards back. Also the compensation I was given was far below what they were selling for. Very shady company. read more

Wish I could give zero stars....Went to GameStop after years. Took my 2 year old daughter to buy a plushie. GameStop had accepted crypto payments from for years via flexahq. I loaded my wallet up and generated a QR code with a PIN. The store manager refused to process my payment he didn't even try to run the QR code. He said he doesn't feel comfortable running this transaction. It was pretty embarrassing for me holding up the line as manager called his boss who also unaware of this payment method. They had ps5 gear in the wrong slot. It was in the Xbox area. so I looked at the front item and seen it was an Xbox item. it looked a little crushed or damaged the package. so I grabbed the one behind it went to the register and paid while talking to the cashier about my sons Xbox and went home. I opened it. slapped the gear on and it didn't fit. I realized it was for a ps5. Thumb-stick grip. I called to ask if I could trade and the guy said I should have looked in a rude way and talked to me as if it was my fault and like he's doing me a favor seeing if he can trade them for me. It would have been better for me to look but I'm not perfect.I'm a pro member had the receipt idk why it was such a big deal. I called customer service because he wouldn't give me a straight answer about trading. I didn't want to drive far for no reason and customers service said if it's in the wrong spot it is the stores fault and i can trade for the correct one and it shouldn't be a problem. I got to the store and he was still talking to me as if I was a careless customer. I told him to call customer service if he thinks it's my fault and he said he didn't need to. He said I'll trade you and make it right even though he was still talking to me in an arrogant way. I just thought he was rude. I get it people have bad days or say things by mistake. I worked 16 hours got off of work picked my son up from school and let him irritate me. read more

The folks in this store are great! Awesome customer service! I took my 8 year old son in to buy some games he saved up for. We got home and one of them didn't work properly. I called the store and I believe it was Branden who helped me. He couldn't have been more accommodating! He apologized (though it wasn't their fault at all) and he ordered me a new game. It took a while to come in because of the horrific weather crisis in Texas (where GameStop's factory is), but even with the several week delay, he still didn't forget about us. He called us the day the game came in and set it aside for us. I couldn't come in until the next day, but that wasn't an issue. I walked in and the other team member already knew what I was there for. Now that's customer service!!! read more

Wasted my black friday due to the uninformed/unprofessional staff here. I spent over 2 hours in line then finally got to the front of the line just to have the staff tell me they ran out of spiderman ps4s but they could surely sell me a full price ps4 with no spiderman game. I asked why is it they didn't bothet to inform people they ran out of spiderman ps4s & they were baffled that not a single employee went down the line to ask what people where waiting for other than asking about which games do you want ahead of time. So I stood there at the counter extremely shocked & disappointed & they did not offer me any sort of compensation or even try to for waisting almost 2 hours of my time for absolutely nothing. Not even a keychain, sticker, or 5$ giftcard. NOTHING but a sorry you got f@kd over because you trusted gamestop with their utter lack of perception and communication. read more

Okay SO just so it's clear I know nothing about video games. In fact I had a NO video game rule in my house until just recently when I finally caved in and purchased a PS4 for my son. And let me say I am SO thankful for one of the workers and this location ( of course I forgot his name after I wrote it down for this review) anyways this guy was so helpful, apparently all the games I picked would have been a bad choice for kids due to language and whatnot. The staff isn't attentive or welcoming. I have no problem with the company, but this store in particular isn't a pleasant place to be.

My favorite GameStop in the Central Valley. Josh and Brian are always insanely helpful, and are the best employees I've ever dealt with in my visits to this shop. Everybody who works here makes you feel like you are important. They take their time and do their best to help me, and always make me feel like my time and business are valued. I make sure to save my biggest expenditures for this store as they have totally won me over. Go when it's not busy during the week as the weekends can get a little insane (as with all stores) and you're golden. read more

I recently bought a new Xbox Scorpio and the sound didn't work through the tv. So I "TRIED" to return it but, the worker here was very sure the Xbox was working fine with out evening turning it on. With a smug look on his face like your stupid of course it works it's probably your cheap tv. I finally got him to turn it on and when he asked for the controller I told him he took it from the box when I bought it and he gave me another dirty look like if I did it on purpose so he couldn't check the stupid sound was not there. Worst customer service I've ever had at a GameStop, and as a combat vet and it being veterans weekend I would of thought he would of helped me a little, sadly he did not, so I left with a broken Xbox Scorpio. I will never go back and I will advise all my family and friends of your terrible service. New management and workers are needed ASAP. read more

Gamestop is pretty much the same in every city, but I have found the staff at this particular Gamestop to be a bit rude. I'm not sure what kind of rude it is though. Is it the high and mighty "I'm more of a nerd than you are" attitude that you will find in a lot of gamers, or is it the fact that this place only hires people that are rude? I'm not sure, so I'm not going to drop my rating below a 3 Star. I'm a laid back guy and can take a lot of crap from people, but there is never an excuse for being rude to a customer. I'm never rude to employees, particularly retail employees, I know firsthand what kind of crap they have to take. read more
