After meeting with a AT&T event rep I decided to move my family's cell phones and our internet over to AT&T. We just moved to this area and this store is closest for us so went in on Sunday (Mother's Day). The store had two real nice staff members there and only one other customer so we got help right away. I'd like to say thank you to Noemi for taking her time showing us all the options between bundles and equipment and we are extremely satisfied with her advise and help in setting up our account. This store is located next to a couple places to eat as well so while we waited for our Apple accounts to load we even had time to grab some lunch. read more

I would not recommend this store to anybody the people there are not knowledgeable. Their work ethic is awful. I stop by this store since I was in the area. I was only requesting to get an add-on to my initial wireless plan. I explain myself to Violet & the other young African male of the add on I like to purchase . Beside her not having a name tag on she took the initiative to tell me who nowadays have a prepaid line. I found that very rude, somebody needs to retrain the whole crew out in that store. I had to explain myself several times never in the world would I imagine they would pull a fast one on me. ass a paying customer. After the fact I leave the store, I realize she changed my plan. I wasn't able to use my phone for the entire evening and the remaining of the next day I wasn't able to get a hold of customer service that day so I had to wait for the next day to call. I reach out customer service which they weren't any better in trying to help resolve this issue. I was with them for over three hours. Awful customer service as well. I was told to go into the store to get this issue resolved which I did had to drive back to the store. Store manager approach me stating his name was Jonathan Dominguez He was so rude... I was trying to explain my situation and eventually he's not trained to get any feedback from customers. His response to me was I could go back to my lunch break and you would have to wait for me to come back in 20 minutes until I finish my lunch.... who would do that to a customer only people that are not well trained and eventually the store needs to have everybody retrained. I hope this message reaches a lot more of people out there and report this to corporate. No one should have to be treated like this at all. read more

I went to this AT&T store to help pay my dad's internet bill. My dad is handicapped and has been going through a lot this past year, so I've been helping manage his bills and paying his AT&T bill at this location since it's right by his house. I've never had any problem with this particular store. The employees seemed kind of slow and have a tough time using the computers and especially the printer. But it's never been a hassle, as long as the bill was paid. Then yesterday I went to pay my dad's bill. When I walked in, two employees behind the counter were sleeping and a third was sitting around. When I explained that I was paying a bill, the lady asked me for my driver's license. When she realized that the bill wasn't in my name, she asked me for my dad's passcode and email, so I called my dad and he said that his wife who recently passed away handled that and he didn't know, so I explained to the lady that I've been paying the bill for about a year now without any problems. She said that it's a new system with all the stores and since I didn't know any of the info that she couldn't help me and laughed. I found that rude and wasn't amused at all. So, I called the McHenry store and asked if I could pay the bill there and they said yes. I drove out to the McHenry store and I paid my dad's bill in 30 seconds and got a receipt which I didn't always get at the Oakdale Rd store. I asked the guy if there was a new system and if they needed my ID and he said no, as long as I have the account information and the payment then I can pay. As I was driving home, I started getting upset on how I was treated at the first AT&T store, so I returned and let them know how I felt about their crappy service. The bigger black guy walked close to me and told me I better leave. I guess they're not trained to deal with customer feedback either, let alone do their jobs. For whatever reason, maybe out of boredom, they decided to dick me around. I'm 52, I'm trying to juggle my dad's time with my job while paying both of our bills and these people made things just a little bit more difficult for us when it clearly didn't have to be. I won't be going to this location ever again, even after these turds get laid off. I'm never coming back. read more

I came in to upgrade mine and my husband phones and this store was so nice, made the upgrade process so fast and easy and they were so friendly while we were doing the upgrade, they explained the costs, the shipping time and what to do with our trade ins. Customer service is terrible here. The girl behind the counter can't be bothered to figure anything out I have to pry answers out of her. And then the young guy next to her tried to help but he has a narcissistic tone to him that makes it hard to listen to him. The staff were totally misleading. I would highly not recommend this store to anybody. They said it would be $70 for 2 phone lines verbally over the phone. Then came into store; activated phones and price mysteriously went up to $120 per month plus $70 in activation fees. This was completely unprofessional and the AT&T on McHenry is much more honest and professional. They are straightforward. Unfortunately I had to do this because AT&T on Oakdale was misleading. This has been a perpetuate problem at this specific location. I cancel all witchcraft in Jesus name. I tear down every alter in the name of Jesus. I'm covered by the blood of the lamb. Hallelujah, Jesus is King. Jesus is Lord I cancel every assignment, curse, spell, psychic abilities, chants, incantation etc. in Jesus name! God bless. I received excellent customer service from Jonathan D., at the Oakdale location yesterday. I went in to upgrade my old iPhone to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. He was very helpful answering all my questions regarding the new iPhone. I brought my old iPhone XS and he was able to successfully transfer all my data from the old iPhone to the new iPhone. Jonathan D. was very patient with me and I never felt rushed. I highly recommend this store if you want friendly and knowledgeable customer service. read more

Stopped in after work for a few questions. There was only one customer and workers looked totally surprised when I walked in like "Wow we really just got another customer", you must imagine this in your best Keanu Reeves impression. I have had nothing but wonderful experience at this store. It is my go-to AT&T store for I have issues with my iPhone, Digitial Life, or AT&T bill. The last visit I had, store manager Taivon, assisted me. He not only resolved my issue with my dated iPhone, but he also told me about a new wireless plan. The plan was the same price as the previous plan I had, but my family and I would get unlimited data! It's been two months now, and my bill hasn't changed one bit, but I no longer have to worry about going over my data allowance. I highly recommend this store for any AT&T service needs! read more

Once inside, both Miranda and Noemi assisted with my cellphone purchase and my questions/concerns. This store is awesome. Miranda helped me with something that was extremely important to me. My mother passed away 2.5 years ago and I hadn't gotten a new phone despite needing one desperately because I was afraid I'd lose the voicemails I had saved on my old phone. Eventually, the phone started not holding a charge and I became nervous thy it would crash altogether and I'd lose everything. I went to the AT&T store after speaking with Miranda on the phone. She was amazing! She not only saved my mom's voicemails and transferred them to my new phone, but she also saved me tons of money and upgraded my plan. I am forever thankful for her patience and knowledge. She even gave me her card with her number in case I had any other problems. Definitely the best place to go for your AT&T needs. While I didn't interact with the other employees, they were helpful to the other customers that came in. Also, there was no wait at all! So happy read more
