In the end, I bought a new Mac and didn't require any other services. A few years later, even though it seemed like a busy day, Carlos fixed my shattered iPhone screen for $45 in less than 30 minutes without an appointment! The young lady working there had her dad on the phone, and he seemed to be guiding her through the repair. Unfortunately, the problem was never fixed. The screen started lifting, so I called around 8 PM, and he answered and told us to bring it back the next day. We did, but the same problem continued! We called and went back AGAIN, and this time he had the nerve to accuse my daughter of lying! At that point, we finally did what we should have done from the beginning and took the phone to Apple. Apple provided us with a written statement confirming that the third-party repair caused damage to the phone. Now the phone overheats and the screen goes black, problems we never had before! To make matters worse, he is now ignoring my calls. I want a full refund AND I want him to cover the cost of having Apple repair the damage they caused! It's unfortunate because I was simply trying to support a small local business, and this is what we get in return. Multiple trips, a damaged phone, and someone who refuses to take accountability for their work. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! NEVER AGAIN! Save yourself the trouble and go straight to Apple.
