I took my 2019 MacBook Pro in for service this week after finding it was running very hot when I ran a graphic intensive game. Ator quickly diagnosed the problem, a faulty fan and system in need of a deep cleaning (I am guilty of letting my dog sit with me when I use my system and it showed.) He gave me an estimate of two days to get the part ordered, system cleaned and laptop back to me and went above and beyond to make sure that happened. When the part did not arrive until after hours this evening, he stayed late to get the job done. Had an Windows automatic repair loop on a Lenovo Windows 10 laptop, and tried troubleshooting to restore startup of Windows even with a IT guy to no avail. Went and met Ator and he was very accommodating and honest that he can access this laptop and restore Windows. But the SSD the laptop was 5 years old and there were over 600 GB stored and I haven't back-up the files for 2 months. He stated that he normally back-up files before he starts working on the laptop, and the issue may be also a need for an updated and larger SSD to avoid slow-downs later. Last week I took my Dell laptop in because my zoom camera was not working. Prior to taking laptop Computer Guys I took it to 2 other computer repair places near my home. They both uninstalled camera drives and said that would fix my problem. Well it didn't. It took Computer Guys about 5 minutes to figure out my camera lenses was closed. He showed me what was wrong and made sure I knew how to open and close it. He was the nicest person that made me so happy. It probably took more time for him to show me how to operate it. I had a Lenovo laptop that would not turn on. It turns out, my model has an internal battery. Instead of removing the battery to reset, there was a reset button that required a paper clip to push a button. Ator did that and it didn't cost me anything.
