Ator is super helpful and informative. He was able to mirror my old computer onto my new laptop.

I came in unannounced looking for very specific HDD mounting screws. Even though they dis not have them, the staff was extremely helpful to try to provide what I needed. I really appreciated the effort. Give them a try when you need some computer repair work. read more

I took my 2019 MacBook Pro in for service this week after finding it was running very hot when I ran a graphic intensive game. Ator quickly diagnosed the problem, a faulty fan and system in need of a deep cleaning (I am guilty of letting my dog sit with me when I use my system and it showed.) He gave me an estimate of two days to get the part ordered, system cleaned and laptop back to me and went above and beyond to make sure that happened. When the part did not arrive until after hours this evening, he stayed late to get the job done. I am very impressed with his professionalism and follow through and will be returning soon for a follow up appointment for some data recovery. I am very pleased. read more

I took in my old computer along with a new one on a Friday and was told that it would be ready on Saturday. I stopped by at 3pm and was told that it should be done later and he would call when it was done. I didn't get back until Thursday, 7 days after I brought them in and five days after it was promised. read more

I had Ator fix both my son's PC desktop computer which had faulty RAM, and mine, which had a bad power supply. Both were fixed promptly and done right, for a very reasonable price. Even though I live 45 minutes away, in Stockton, this is my go-to place for computer problems. Besides fixing things correctly, Ator, the owner is a super nice guy and you can tell he takes pride in his work. read more

I would recommend Ator's services to anyone with technology issues. I came in for data recovery and was able to recover the data by the next business day. Everything was done incredibly professionally, and at a reasonable price. I can tell that Ator is a master of his craft and he is very friendly and professional. Would recommend. read more

Had an Windows automatic repair loop on a Lenovo Windows 10 laptop, and tried troubleshooting to restore startup of Windows even with a IT guy to no avail. Went and met Ator and he was very accommodating and honest that he can access this laptop and restore Windows. But the SSD the laptop was 5 years old and there were over 600 GB stored and I haven't back-up the files for 2 months. He stated that he normally back-up files before he starts working on the laptop, and the issue may be also a need for an updated and larger SSD to avoid slow-downs later. Well, I agreed on this and was completely satisfied with the restoration work with a newer, updated and faster hard drive. read more

I appreciate the hard work and long hours it took to repair my computer. You guys are life savers and I highly recommend this business for all your computer repairs, no matter how crazy your requests might sound. Last week I took my Dell laptop in because my zoom camera was not working. Prior to taking laptop Computer Guys I took it to 2 other computer repair places near my home. They both uninstalled camera drives and said that would fix my problem. Well it didn't. It took Computer Guys about 5 minutes to figure out my camera lenses was closed. He showed me what was wrong and made sure I knew how to open and close it. He was the nicest person that made me so happy. It probably took more time for him to show me how to operate it. The nicest part was he charged me nothing. I did try to give him something but he wouldn't take it. I would recommend him to all in the Modesto area. Thank you again! read more

Solid experience at Computer Guys. He is a one man show. Patience is key. Let him do his thing and he will do it right and honest and tell you what is up. He fixed my Dell laptop that would not power on and put a new circuit board in it. Definitely something I would not have attempted or known was even wrong. If it's out of your league take it here. read more

I had a Lenovo laptop that would not turn on. It turns out, my model has an internal battery. Instead of removing the battery to reset, there was a reset button that required a paper clip to push a button. Ator did that and it didn't cost me anything. Although I didn't end up paying anything, I got a sense that Ator and his staff are highly competent and will methodically diagnose a computer's problem. Thank you Ator read more

The owner is why I use this place always for all computer issues which are few, since he always improves the computer and makes great suggestions on better usage. read more

I wish I could give Computer Guys more than 5 starts. I had a problem with attaching PDFs on a job application. I went to 3 different places before the Computer Guys and no one was willing to help. The Computer Guy happily solved my problem for me and didn't even charge me. I will forever come here for all my computer needs. I don't know what I would have done if it was not for him. Thank you so much. I am thankful people like him exist. read more

I am a college student and I work remotely so my laptop is my life, I was told my computer would take about a week to fix but the next day it was ready for pick up! Really friendly and funny to talk to. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for reasonable pricing and great service. read more

Friendly but unprofessional. Had my computer repaired awhile back for shutting off on its own due to over heat. Asked them to replace fan. They claimed it wasn't fan. Ended up doing something else. A day later computer dies because...the fan. Wasn't upset. Called then back. No call back or response. Very unprofessional. Never went back. Don't recommend read more

I looked at some of the reviews and decided I would give Computer Guys a try. What an excellent experience. There should be nothing but five-star reviews. Ator is very knowledgeable and diagnosed what was wrong within minutes. I left my computer which I need desperately Friday afternoon and he called me at 9 AM Monday and told me he was ready to pick up. Ator is very personable easy and fun to talk to. I have used computer guys for a couple of years now always happy with their service. That was when John and James were there or maybe they are still there but not answering phones. Well it has changed. Lately when I called they were not doing any repairs because they had too much business. So not taking new business. Now if I had too much business I would hire more people to handle the business not turn business away. It's been good while it lasted!! read more
