I called around for quotes and the Computer Guys were much more easier to work with and gave me a good price than the competitors. I took my computer in and they told me I would have to have my computer stay there for a few days so they can work on it. They even assured me that my computer would be kept in a locked storage area for extra protection until it is ready for me to pick up. Well, I came to these guys first because of their Yelp ratings but after speaking with their representative, 'Jonathan', I quickly became dismayed. I had an issue with my laptop that could have been repaired by them but during the course of the conversation it became obvious that Johnathan was not willing to work on it, instead, recommending me to purchase one of their used laptops. News flash for you Computer Guys, not every customer wants to be told that their relatively new laptop should be replaced by one of your used ones...what the customer simply wants is for your staff to tell them that you can or can't repair it and not that you won't because it's too much work. At least Jonathan saved me the gas money of driving into their store, hence is the reason they get one star. BTW, found another vendor that was willing to do the work for about 20% cheaper. read more

Came in here with my computer that wasn't turning on. First thing I noticed was the shop was very spacious and not cluttered like most computer shops. Took it into Data Computers and they couldn't seem to figure out the problem and were suggesting I buy a new computer. I refused and took it to The Computer Guys. I dropped it off and after an hour, they called me back. Turns out my motherboard was shorting. They showed me a selection of motherboards to choose from that were fair prices. I have been going to these guys for about 8-10 years, when Joseph ran it. I'm not sure what has happened, but their service is not good. I took my Dell laptop there for a Trojan virus. They removed the virus, but then my keyboard wouldn't work right. Long story short, I took my computer back 4 times. Turns out the keyboard issue was that Windows 7 was not compatible with my keyboard, so he had to reinstall Windows 10. Then, all of a sudden after 30 days, my virus protection expired. Really?? So I called them and had to have the registration updated. They said the antivirus protection is only good for 30 days, then I was supposed to call them to renew the registration. Never heard of this in my life!! After 4 visits and 2 times of Teamviewer at home I'm done with Computer Guys. Moving on to someone that knows what they are doing, the first time. read more
