I don't normally post any reviews, but I want to make sure that excellent service is acknowledged and my experience with Cory was a reminder that excellent service is still possible. When I called Cory regarding a charging issue with my 4 year old HP laptop, Cory answered every one of my questions with patience & professionalism. He felt confident that the cause of my problem was my old battery and asked me to bring my computer to him so he could replace the battery. By the time I arrived at his house, he had already researched the proper battery and ordered it. Because it came the same day, he began the process of swapping out the battery that day. He sent me texts throughout the process to let me know how things were progressing. Before he gave the computer back to merge following say, he fully charged the new battery to make sure that the battery was working properly. He even sent me screenshots of the progress just to put my mind at ease that everything was working according to schedule! In addition, he noticed that I didn't have a solid-state drive, so he swapped out my old hard drive with the new drive and now my 4 year old laptop is working as fast as the 3 month old laptop I just bought for my wife! I think it's rare today to find someone who will call you back after hours, walk you through a problem solving issue, and then send you to a website to buy the replacement part you need, but that's exactly what happened tonight. So this was a while ago when I had brought my pc to him knowing my issue. I didn't have time to do the repair at the time. I had told him I had a motherboard issue but Cory didn't believe that was the issue so I proceeded his recommendation to get a new cpu, so I spend 300+ dollars out of pocket. And then Cory proceeded to say that the cpu wasn't the issue and didn't want to touch the pc anymore. I ordered my motherboard and did it myself. Regardless. I told him the issue and he denied it from the beginning and I ended up spending a lot more than I should have. It took a while for me to write this review due to the fact that I didn't know how to feel about the situation but, if you don't know you're issue he MAY be able to fix it but obviously no guarantees. read more
