The second screen was delayed via shipping and I would have been out a phone for over a week. He did lend me a phone until then which was nice, but still very inconvenient because I had none of my stuff on there (contacts, photos, apps). Upon receiving the phone with the new screen, the next day I noticed the color of the screen when outside would get all inverted, but neon. Photos attached. I believe this was an installation issue rather than a screen issue. It only happens when I'm outside, with a colder temperature change. When I explained this to him, he said that there was "no warranty" despite paying $200. And that the only step offered was to send the screen back to the manufacturer, which would take 7-10 business days - once again leaving me without a phone. Also, if the screen broke when they took it off, I would be out of luck. So why would I risk that? He also insinuated I dropped the phone for that to happen, which was kind of insulting, especially reporting the issue within 24 hours? I am now stuck with a screen that does not work, and a useless phone. I wish I would have just kept my shattered screen because at least I could actually use the phone. One inconvenience after another and while I understand a lot of this was out of his control, it still does not negate my very negative experience here. I now have to upgrade and get a new phone. I am beyond upset.

So I watched a few YouTube videos on how to reboot it.. And to no success, it did not work and kept on the rebooting loop.. So I watched a few more YouTube videos, And I had to get my iMac involved and hook my iPad up to it.. At first I thought had to do a simple update but that was a fail.. So then iTunes suggested I do a complete restore that was also a fail.. So on all my Apple products:. I do have most of them covered with Apple care plus.. And it turns out that the little investment in Apple care Plus we're still valid on my ipad for a few months.. So I went through the Apple support to set up an appointment.. at first I thought I was going to have to travel to Modesto to the apple store.. But it turns out in TURLOCK , The mobile kangaroo is a authorized by Apple to Take care of Apple products.. So it worked out really good for me, To schedule appointment local and save me a trip to Modesto and saved me time of being in the Apple store, Because from my past experiences of going to the Apple store it's very time consuming to have them look at your products that are not working correctly. The mobile kangaroo staff is really friendly and knowledgeable.. I believe the person that was working there, his name is Gilbert (please forgive me if I got your name wrong) he told me exactly what he was going to do to my iPad to revive it and get it functioning again... As it turns out I have a stubborn iPad and needed some time to work on it.. Which is cool.. he did tell me that if apart was needed that that would be a cost.. Which is common with Apple care..from my past experiences when I had to have a phone replaced instead of paying for hundreds of dollars for a new phone I only had to pay $50 to get it replaced.. Some people think that when you have Apple care that it's like 100% insurance, it is not.. if your phone needs a part be replaced you get it at a much discounted price rather than pay hundreds for a new Devices.. Gilbert Was very thorough and explain to me what he was going to do to revive my iPad and also explained if something had to replace that there would be a cost.. and I agreed... As for it beats for buying a brand new iPad.. To make a long story short I needed to leave my iPad there.. I got a text and email about two hours later that my product was ready to pick up:. On the back of the business card the fifth check mark down it states: Water damage repair and professional cleaning. He took my phone and repeated. I can fix it for you. I can fix it for you, give me two hours. I can fix it. Now I have several issues. The major issue is NO FACE I-D, so anything that requires a Face ID, it no longer works. So he did nothing but take my $240.00. Which he requested that I bring him in cash. I returned and asked him to take whatever he did to my phone off and give me back my money he said no I fixed your phone. You can use your phone to make calls. I could make calls when I took it to him. This is how they told me to fix my problem. Take it to Spectrum and upgrade my phone because now I it makes calls. It made calls before. I did not want to have to purchase a new phone. Now if I follow his advice, I purchase a new phone plus I am out the 240.00 they took from me. What I do intend on doing is opening up a small claims case against them. I asked him for a receipt he replied I don't have to. Well, maybe not, but he might show the IRS where he recorded the transaction. My phone has error messages that they did not put in Apple parts. I have to repeatedly put in the Passcode.
