We just moved to this area and this store is closest for us so went in on Sunday (Mother's Day). The store had two real nice staff members there and only one other customer so we got help right away. I'd like to say thank you to Noemi for taking her time showing us all the options between bundles and equipment and we are extremely satisfied with her advise and help in setting up our account. This store is located next to a couple places to eat as well so while we waited for our Apple accounts to load we even had time to grab some lunch.

I've never had any problem with this particular store. The employees seemed kind of slow and have a tough time using the computers and especially the printer. But it's never been a hassle, as long as the bill was paid. Then yesterday I went to pay my dad's bill. When I walked in, two employees behind the counter were sleeping and a third was sitting around. When I explained that I was paying a bill, the lady asked me for my driver's license. When she realized that the bill wasn't in my name, she asked me for my dad's passcode and email, so I called my dad and he said that his wife who recently passed away handled that and he didn't know, so I explained to the lady that I've been paying the bill for about a year now without any problems. She said that it's a new system with all the stores and since I didn't know any of the info that she couldn't help me and laughed. I found that rude and wasn't amused at all. So, I called the McHenry store and asked if I could pay the bill there and they said yes. I drove out to the McHenry store and I paid my dad's bill in 30 seconds and got a receipt which I didn't always get at the Oakdale Rd store. I asked the guy if there was a new system and if they needed my ID and he said no, as long as I have the account information and the payment then I can pay. As I was driving home, I started getting upset on how I was treated at the first AT&T store, so I returned and let them know how I felt about their crappy service. The bigger black guy walked close to me and told me I better leave. I guess they're not trained to deal with customer feedback either, let alone do their jobs. For whatever reason, maybe out of boredom, they decided to dick me around. I'm 52, I'm trying to juggle my dad's time with my job while paying both of our bills and these people made things just a little bit more difficult for us when it clearly didn't have to be. I won't be going to this location ever again, even after these turds get laid off. I'm never coming back.

Being short on time, and patience, to figure it out myself I decided to reach out and RepairALL was quick to offer their services. The good - They offered a free diagnostic and there was no wait time for me to bring in my PC. They had friendly and helpful staff. Their building was easy to locate and their fees were reasonable. Areas for improvement - It took a while for them to properly diagnose and repair my PC. Thankfully, I was not in a rush as I was traveling for work and had a backup PC to meet my needs. If one was in a hurry to get their PC back due to having no other options, I could see where a customer might get upset or impatient. I, personally, am not knocking them down on my review for this as it was not an urgent matter for me and I told them so. It's possible the lengthier timeline for me was due to the fact that I told them it was no rush. I would rather them take their time and do it right than a shoddy rush job. Overall, they did a solid job repairing my PC (typing my review from it right now) and really the only thing I'd suggest for improvement is maybe more proactive communication with the customer. I had to call in for status updates until the PC was fixed and ready for pickup at which point they sent me a text to let me know. I think a few more texts just letting the customer what's going on would likely improve the overall customer experience. I would bring my device(s) back to RepairALL since they repaired my PC and were friendly. If they improve on those little things it could easily be a 5-star experience.

Said I would try for a few weeks, and make a determination if I would change. But, of course there was a hang up. They said they could not verify me and wanted me to unlock my credit. I am not busy enough to write this review, but am busy to sit for an hour or more unlocking THREE credit bureaus. ( she could not tell me which one they check). With a +800 credit score , never missing a payment in +40 years, to not be able to verify me is an annoyance. So T-mobile despite the lower monthly I will stay with VERIZON ( because I learned also during these years you continuously give low prices at the beginning and then raise your prices ).
