Tonight was my first experience going into a dispensary. I've been using a delivery service for the last 6 months. The prices are ridiculously high so my husband urged me into going into a store front. On our way there I was super nervous and after reading some negative reviews on here that only got worse. But all in all I'm happy with my first time. When you walk in you're met by a security guard. He directed me where to check in. At the check in desk there was a colorful friendly woman. I told her about my anxieties and she reassured me that the process is easy. The budtender that helped me was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I explained what I've been using and why I needed it and he gave me his recommendations. Despite their unreliable stock (we never know what they'll have...), I have remained loyal to this business because it's conveniently close to where I live. But yesterday I went in and purchased three items (pre-rolled multi-packs, 2 sativa and 1 indica). When I got home, I noticed one was incorrect (hybrid). When I went back to exchange, I was told that "by law" they cannot do exchanges (although the person who was helping me said "yeah, you never buy hybrid"). So, because of their bad service and lack of attention, I now have to keep something I didn't want. So, not going back! And if you go there, please double-check your items IN THE STORE, in front of the salesperson. Don't trust that they're giving you what you wanted (or paid for!). I will never be back, nor will I ever recommend this place. I was harassed and made to wear a mask even though I have a medical reason as to why I can't. They asked for documentation as to why I couldn't wear one, HUGE hipa violation. They made a huge scene two people came over to me and told me to put a mask on. Then refused me service when I didn't put it on. It was late and I wanted to get home so I put it on. Then when It wasn't pulled over my nose, Security stood over me and would not leave me alone until I did. They are bullies here. Not only did I leave humiliated but also caused me to have a medical episode. Management really needs to educate their staff on ADA protocol for mask wearing. Because they are about to be hit with a $75,000 fine. The next one will be $150,000. Hope they learn there lesson soon or it's about to be a very expensive one. read more

I went here as a first time customer and go two cartridges for my husband. I asked if they were universal and they said yes, well I got home and they didn't work on the two batteries I had. I brought them back and explained the situation. The dude then took them and said there was nothing wrong with them that it was my battery. I informed him that my battery was working fine for my other carts so why not these ones. They refused to refund me. The guy then calls security over to stand next to me while I attempted to call my husband to ask what to do. Security then wouldn't leave me alone wth? I asked to speak with the lady who sold them to me. She came over and sold me a battery that would work for the carts they sold me. She was helpful and I appreciated her approach but that guy calling security was so out of line. No one was threatened. All I did was ask to speak with the girl who sold me the carts. My husband spends about 500$ a month on supplies but this establishment won't be getting our money. To the girl that helped me! I've gone here almost weekly for the last 3 years. Even though inventory is usually minimal, it's close to home and staff is friendly. After some disappointing last visits tonight put me off of Peoples Remedy Lone Palm for good. First time ever trying to return a cartridge that would hardly work at all on 3 different batteries I tried. Brought the 2 carts back with receipt (bought 2 days ago) and they said they needed to take it to the "back" and test. Long story short, they said they could see some smoke come out which means they can't send back to the vendor which means they can't even exchange it for something comparable or money back to me. Rip off. Especially since I also paid taxes on those!!! Return policy is a joke especially since my wife was able to exchange a cart awhile back no questions asked with receipt. As soon as I said I would write a bad review (which I've actually never done) the girl who said she was manager started saying "oh well now that you said that let me see what I can do"...No thanks. Shout out to Michelle who helped me today... she hooked me up with Gelato 33!! She also showed me several other strains to compare. Also there is a small calendar on your way out that has scheduled vendor visits where you can try new products and get some deals--fun fun. Bring in 2 cans of food and they will give you a free pre roll. They donate to local charities which is very cool. I just learned I get a senior discount lol. But seriously they treat you very well here. Please come check it out. The only downsides I think, are one, getting back onto Woodland going east, and two, parking is very limted so you sometimes have to park down the street. My wife found out about this place a month ago from a friend at caviar gold. We joined approx 3 weeks ago. We live about 35,minutes away however we have visited this dispensary at least 5 times. They always provide very friendly service. So this is why I gave it 3 stars. Yesterday it would have definitely given 5. However today I went in made a small purchase of $60. The guy working gave me a card and stamped it. Apparently for every $60 you buy you get 1 stamp. 10 stamps is a free 1\8. Why did no one ever tell me or offer it to me when I was spending a significant amount more? I am a Lil disappointed. However I will remain faithful to CVA.
