Yesterday Friday August 8th me and my wife were passing through town on our way to see family and we stopped here because we have been here a few times before and never had any issues before. Have always got really good deals on ounces $60-80. We went in there and asked "do you have any deals on ounces or 1/2 ounces " and the girl replied not really and just showed us $45 quarters. We only bought one and thought to ourselves wow the prices have really gone up here. We left there and my wife immediately looked online and seen that they had buzz nug ounces for $44 and buzz nug 1/8 for $10 but we were never shown or offered any of those. If definitely feels and appears that we were lied to in order to up sale. Hopefully the owners are not okay with this type of customer practice but who knows we won't be going back to pay extra and told friends and family to steer clear of this place. read more

I have come to this dispensary a few times when I'm desperate and don't feel like driving across town, the curbside option is also usually a wonderful option. However after my experience tonight I will never be utilizing or visiting this dispensary again.. The lady working this evening wearing burgundy leggings was absolutely horrible to deal with. First I was greeted by a man who took my ID and cash and was very friendly, then after about 5 minutes, burgundy leggings returned with my money to notify me that my item was out of stock. Okay no problem. So I asked if I could pick something else out online, she agreed I asked her about a few different wax options and her response to me was "I'm blind so " in other words, I'm not helping you so figure it out. So I just decided I'd hand her a $20 bill (considering my total was $12 prior) and have her just pick something as she already had a bad attitude. Then she returns after another 5 minutes to let me know they have nothing under $23 which is absolutely garbage, considering you guys must have about 20 waxes online for under $20... then she returns for the final time!!! Hands me the bag RUDELY and walks away without saying anything, like I was inconveniencing her to DO HER JOB. Anyways I'll be taking my business to phenos, because no amount of time saved is worth being treated like garbage when you're patronizing a business. read more

I usually like going to Cookies In Modesto and rave to everyone about how great everyone is but lately the bud tenders are forgetting things that I requested which is a bit annoying. I mentioned to the supervisor that this is happening more often that maybe the bud tenders should start writing things down to ensure the customer orders are correct at the end. I mean if they are following you around the store taking your request I should feel confident my order is complete at time at checkout. If you visit this store check your orders before you pay to avoid paying extra taxes or card service fees. This is the 3rd time they mess up my order. It's also not great customer service to blame the customer for not double checking the order. Which is what the supervisor mentioned to me when I only gave the girl 3 items to remember and she only charged me for two because she forgot the 3rd one. They had no idea what they're talking about and grabbed the wrong product. Didn't notice until I was home. Never will return here. I thinking, why didn't you say that before... Like 20 mins ago. I asked if they were going to honor the online amount the guy said yes but I can't guarantee the 2nd will be, okay. I get that that's cool. He goes back into the store i waited and waited 3 cars came and went and i still waited another 20 mins. I had to ask one of the other curb side attendees for assistances. She went inside to remind them I was waiting. Another 10 mins went by before the guy came out with my change of $37. I was confused and looked inside and said dude where is my 12pk he said ohh my boss said sorry but not sorry. Like are you fucking kidding me. I waited for 45 mins for this shit. Never again dude. I'm now berating myself for driving all that time when a far better shop is almost within walking distance. You'd have no idea of what type of retailer it is from outward appearances. A tasteful neon image of their company logo and their name is it. You enter and your first impression is of a high-end retailer of perhaps electronics or even jewelry. Anything other than a recreational/medical MarijuanaTHC shop. Cookies is ultra in everything but price! They're top-notch all the way. I'll not be doing any driving across town anymore. Outstanding customer service. The guards outside are actually friendly and helpful. Location is prime, close to a freeway entrance, yet not so close to the shopping area. I like to just place my order online, ask for curbside and by the time I drive there, my order is ready to go. I've never been there and there be no parking but I also don't go out there on Fridays or weekends. I actually just found out there's a closer dispensary in Turlock so I think I'll give it a try but if it doesn't meet my expectations I'll go back to Cookies. read more
