This is for the McHenry and Granger location: I dropped my iPhone on a cement slab and rushed to my go-to T-Mobile store. I received immediate service from the customer service professional. I was able to trade in my phone with my upgrade offer. Thank goodness, because I did not have insurance on my phone. On a limited budget with no down payment saved for my trade-in, upgrade, and promotion, I was able to get a new iPhone 16 out the door with no down payment, nothing to finance, and a 2-year contract. I had tons of photos and apps. When the transfer took longer, the entire staff, in their busy times, traded off to give me exemplary service, along with the amazing store manager who pulled all the numbers together. As for the long wait, the manager gave me a T-Mobile bag of treasures from the inventory. They really deserve a 10-star review because they were beyond exceptional. These are sales professionals you can trust with your device and finances. read more

I was a T-Mobile customer since the early 1990's. I had mobile phones. But, service both online and in house got so bad, as well as continuous billing issues that I left in the last year. I noticed today that they are running a special for 35 dollars for 5g internet. Since I pay Verizon 80 dollars a month ( and have absolutely no issues with billing, customer service etc), I dont need to change to get a cheaperand poor service. I called out of curiousity. Said I would try for a few weeks, and make a determination if I would change. But, of course there was a hang up. They said they could not verify me and wanted me to unlock my credit. I am not busy enough to write this review, but am busy to sit for an hour or more unlocking THREE credit bureaus. ( she could not tell me which one they check). With a +800 credit score , never missing a payment in +40 years, to not be able to verify me is an annoyance. So T-mobile despite the lower monthly I will stay with VERIZON ( because I learned also during these years you continuously give low prices at the beginning and then raise your prices ). read more

customer service sucks, asked team member for his name and he refused to give it to me. They way he acted was like he has done this before and will continue. Corporate was notified immediately. read more

I've had to come back more than 4 times to resolve a number of issues with my bill. It felt like they are just trying to get you out with little help as possible. The guy who helped me thru most of it was very rude and argumentative yesterday when I went in. Then, he didn't verify my account and I PAID FOR SOMEONE ELSES BILL!! It wasn't until I looked at the receipt and realized it wasn't my account!! Now I have to go thru a whole process to get a refund! Absolutely unprofessional!!! read more

This place is very unprofessional and obviously the workers don't know their own policy's .The crew working on date 09/29/2025 is very VERY inaccurate and very poorly with customer service. The staff just walks around and don't help and just goofs around ( worker named Lucy ) is not qualified to work here . Very disappointed. After 14 years with you guys , it's very disappointing. read more

Have been in there twice and the "morning shift"completely ruined my account and experience with T-Mobile... along with other things... and I'm saying morning shift because when I call to ask them to correct their mistake, they won't give me names on who helped me this morning... (so childish) I was also lied to and told that morning shift wasn't there and that they had no idea who I was talking about... But then later she slipped and said well he's not here anymore anyway so she knew exactly who I was talking about and decided to lie about it probably because this man already knew he screwed up as soon as I left the store. Only reason I can't go in and fix it face-to-face is because I have sleeping babies here at home and this is a time sensitive issue because it involves porting a phone number that may be disconnected because the port was done incorrectly... When connecting 2 brand new phones, the man that was supposed to be helping us connected my child's phone as the primary account holder instead of mine so when I tried to go complete ports and make changes and adjustments to the account the same day I wasn't allowed any access because I was the secondary user" anything that could have gone wrong while switching phone companies did go wrong and I do not recommend T-Mobile to anyone. Honestly, you'd be better off with any other company.!! read more

We were cheated here. It was a bait n switch. We were told 90.00 for 3 lines, because 3rd line was free. When we got the 165.00 bill, it was very upsetting. My husband went in and talked to the manager who denied saying all he said, but there were 2 of us that heard the same thing. We hv also had so much trouble with our internet we got through them as well as dropped calls, or we can't receive some calls at all. We are going to change back to Metro. We never had problems with them and only left due to the lie. You just can't trust anyone anymore. read more

Bad attitude from the workers they where not patient or polite. They made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Id recommend going to another location. read more

I drove to this location, because I had a terrible experience at the Tracy location. The tracy tmobile made me come back several times only to waste my time and not help my situation at all. Huge rave to Juan for explaining to us how it works and what needed to be done in the most professional manner. He was upfront and honest and that's all I could've ever wanted. Another huge rave to Reem for being so patient and helpful at the same time! She understood exactly what kind of help we needed and she went above and beyond for us! Thank you guys so much. Thanks to you two, I was able to get my situation figured out and my phone is now working! read more

Went to get internet for the house. Was told I could take it home and try it out if. I did like being back in 2 weeks and would not cost me anything. So I did try then took it back I found a better deal so I took it back in the 2 weeks and they said all was good. Then I get an email saying I owe 65.00$. I had to call and get running around for a few hours. Then they tell me all take care. I was like great thanks. Then in a few weeks, I got a letter telling me that I still owe 24.75 $ and if I didn't pay it today it would go to collections and that would hit my credit report. Not good so I had to pay it off. Hoping it is all good this time. People, please be. careful dealing with this company. read more

I had been told I was a valued customer of 13 years and 5 months. What a joke. We moved our service was not as reliable as it had been. Apparently we were roaming. I didn't even know that was still a thing since we had an unlimited plan on 4 lines. I was given a three day notice that my sons line would be canceled and 30 day notice the my husbands and my lines would be cancelled. I have had my number for 24+ years. During the last 13+ years I have had to make payment arrangements once and my payment was late a couple of times. My bill has alway been paid even the fees for being late and I purchased multiple phones. I am not willing to give it up. so much for being a valued customer read more

I can't give this less than no stars, but I would if I could. Four years ago I brought in a cell support device to the store and they took it and said they checked it in. Today because I switched from this company to AT&T they sent me a bill for $200 for the device that I took into the store. Now if I don't pay it they will send me to collections. What a racket. I'm done with them forever. read more

I came into replace my husband watch based on a replacement warranty he had set up. I walked into the building and the store smelled of skunk weed and no customers other than us. This is extremely unprofessional the employee looked high. I believe even if it is legal their is a time and place for this. I'm not impressed with the lack of professionalism! Horrible customer service. Been trying to fix an issue and just keep getting told to contact someone else.

I recieved excellent service from visitor and vanessa! They are very knowledgeable and friendly! Thank you so much for helping me out

The customer service here is AWESOME!!! As soon as I walked in I got the help I needed with my iPhone and I think Carlos helped me (don't quote me on it). But he gave off manager vibes. He helped me save a ton of money and I was in and out of there with a new iPhone on the way to my house. Thanks again!!! read more

Service update. T-Mobile worked at my home, however once I got to work it was a whole different story. Internet did not work and I was lucky to get two bars. Worked diligently with T-Mobile Customer Service and Tech Support over the course of 10 days with no resolve and no call backs as promised. I am no longer a T-Mobile customer and used my return rights within the 14 days allowed. While I got awesome service in store, unfortunately service via company just wasn't the same. read more

Great experience at this location because of Carlos I. and Sarai. They made our switch from Verizon (after 17yrs) easy! Carlos I. is the best! He cares about customer service and that's huge for us. He was very clear explaining plans etc and extremely professional he's an asset to T-Mobile. Sarai was patient and professional as well as she helped processing the order! Very happy to have found them both. read more

We came to this store after being treated badly at the Dale Rd store. We were treated very well. Quickly. With respect. Evelio Alvarado the manager took care of us! He was the best! I will always go back to this store for my phone needs. Thank you Evelio for taking care of us! read more

I just experienced the worst customer ever at this location. I walked in and there was a guy not busy who greeted me and asked how he could help me. 5 seconds into my explanation another employee walked up, interrupts the employee who is helping me, turns to me and says "we have someone else in front of you, it'll be about 20 minutes." She had no idea if my minor issue would have been 5 seconds more, or do a hand-off and have the higher level employee take over her customer and try to help me herself. She cheerily ignored her rudeness and asked my name, expecting that her coarse and unprofessional behavior was completely acceptable. I said I'll be back and left. If the person who greeted me was actually unvailable why did he greet mne and ask how he could help? I drove out to the mall and got my answer in under a minute including the wait for someone to become available. McHenery T-Mob8le needs to work on their customer service training. I'll be calling their store manager Avilio to let him know, maybe he can do a few training sessions on not being rude to customers that are in the process of being helped by interrupting and telling said customers they have to wait 20 minutes for a problem that can be explained in seconds. read more

The customer service at this particular T Mobile dealer was absolutely wonderful in the last few weeks I have had to be there several times to take care of several different phone lines and get new phones Max, Eric and Tim have taken absolutely wonderful care of us I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. On the other hand I would recommend that you stay away from the T Mobile store right down the road they took absolutely horrible care of us and should be avoided at any and all costs stick to this door here and you won't have any problems read more

This is the worse cell service ever!! I switched from AT&T to this and had nothing but dropped calls!! Horrible out of the country service to have #s ported over, different amount told and printed than what they charged per month! Received a bill after 6 days of service for entire month(they bill early) real early!!! I had to go to the store to cancel because I could not call customer service to find out the process of returning phones and getting a credit because the calls kept dropping! Beware of Tmobile horrible reception and horrible customer service!!! read more

I came in to ask about seeing how I could upgrade to a newer smartphone buying the phone cash. The sales rep not only helped me upgrade, but he also aided me at getting it in credit and zero down payment. The new edge is a very smart and attractive phone. That was back in August 2015. Today I have an edge plus. 5 stars to the gentleman that assisted me. read more

Went in on a Sunday morning, Store wasn't too busy so I was helped relatively quickly. I had just had a bad experience at the T-Mobile in the Modesto mall and I was hoping that the McHenry location would help me better. Max did an amazing job helping me. He checked my phone for water damage and cracks but didn't find any. So after reviewing my phone and making sure that it was not damaged, he processed warranty exchange. Cost me only $5! I really appreciate his help because the people at the mall did not want to do it for me. They said that the phone was so old that it was no longer covered in the warranty. Max informed me that because I had insurance on my phone it had lifetime warranty! I really appreciate the fact that Max went out of his way to help me. He truly went above and beyond. He and his team did a great job. Thank you guys! The mall should learn a thing or two from Max and his team. read more

This place is horrible. Won't work with you and they won't support you. Its a great to ruin your credit honestly.

Had an AMAZING experience with the T-Mobile rep Garrett B at the McHenry store this weekend. He was extremely patient with me and my family of 5. Especially with transferring ALL of our stuff over to our new phones. He even made sure to acknowledge every person that walked through the door with a Hello and smile while still working with us. This IS what Customer Service should be. Take notes people. And BIG THANKS GARRETT!!!! read more

I walked in here to have my Samsung Galaxy 6 edge exchanged because it overheated and could not turn on again. The customer service here was quick and they took care of me right when I came in. Before, there used to be a sign in sheet and you have to wait for your name to be called when they were busy. When I entered the store, a young lady assisted me and took me to another associate who helped me. I was in and out in about 30 minutes or so. This place is much larger then the mall location and the one by Walmart on McHenry. read more

Yesterday I came in to the T-Mobile store with my fiancé after convincing him to switch from att because I felt that T-Mobile had superior customer service. We spoke with Anthony who explained to us that we would need to unlock his device before his old number could be ported. He then handed us off to Nina who immediately attempted to port the number. She canceled his line with att, immediately charging $549.00 to his bill without any authorization on his end, cancelled the service he had with them, and prolonged the experience of getting the unlock code by months. We came in the next day looking for a resolution after receiving no help from att and were told by Paola to go to one of those shops where they unlock phones for like fifty bucks - sending us on another errand and spending more money. Why the fuck would a phone store send us somewhere else when we have questions about a phone? We went to att and then returned, this time asking to speak with a manager. Max began helping us and said the best he could do was to give us a loaner phone that we would have to return once we got the unlock code - dedicating more time and errands to the mistake an employee of his made. Later it became clear that he is only the assistant manager and the real manager was off duty, but here working in his pajamas. I understand that mistakes happen and the difference between good and bad customer service is the willingness to make it right. We are now left paying the $549.00 att is charging us due to T-Mobile's mistake for a phone that won't work for months. Honestly this whole experience makes me want to pray and attend church more because this cell phone purgatory is a glimpse into hell. read more

Went and purchased an iPhone 7 at this location. I was told that I was receiving a free glass screen protector, a phone case of my choice, as well as car charging kit. All of which combined is well over $100 in accessories for the iPhone 7. Here we are one week later and I am looking on my bill and go and behold they're charging me for all three pieces. Today I will be headed back into the store to return all three pieces that were unwanted originally anyways. Super disappointing to know that employees at the store are basically lying to customers just to hit their accessory sales quota. If you don't have the gift of gab to sell it honestly, then you have no business being a sales person because now I feel like nothing but a bunch of snakes work at the T-Mobile store. Never going here again and I will never be purchasing anything again from this T-Mobile store. If I could give no stars I would. read more

The worst service ever. I walked in and they asked me what type of helped I needed. I told them, I'm here to pay my phone bill and they told me it will take a couple of minutes. I waited and waited for 20 mins and still no help. I had to go ask him can I get help and he said a couple of minutes again. I waited for another 15 minutes and still no help so I left.
