    Achiote Grilled Chicken Sandwich
    John H.

Really good lunch on a nice patio with great service. I got the Achiote Chicken Sandwich with house chips. The chips were crisp and tasty, and the sandwich was a gooey mess of delicious. tender chicken, with fresh toppings. My wife got the Superfood Salad and added shrimp. It was a large bowl of fresh greens, with lots of tender shrimp. Service was excellent. Somewhat limited menu, but I had multiple items that looked good to me to choose from.

Located in the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center. Came for a drink before a night on the town. Service was prompt, friendly, and good pours for the price point. TVs are available and broadcast the games upon request. Didn't get a chance to dine in but looked like a decent place to grab dinner if staying at the hotel.

This is a very convenient place to get a quick bite. We came here for lunch on a all day meeting day. We got cheese dip and chip as the appetizer, southwest salad, and smoke beef taco. The cheese dip is very flavorful. However, the cheese gets cold too quickly, and it was tough to dip the chips in. The ingredients for the salad were very fresh. The vegetables were crispy. Smoke beef taco was tasty. It had a very smoky flavor. Meat was tender. It came with chip and salsa. The salsa has a strange after taste, and I did not touch the salad after 1 bite. Service was great. Our server was friendly.

This restaurant is located inside the ATT Hotel and Conference Center on the UT Campus, where we are at a conference. Came in here for happy hour and ended up having dinner. The drinks were good, but inconsistent between bartenders. Our server Frankie was gracious and nice. The atmosphere is casual, but they have some nice drinks on the menu. We all had nachos, which were huge. These can feed 2-3 people easily! We got 3 between 6 people and didn't even finish. We got beef, chicken and pulled pork. My favorite for sure was the pulled pork! The salsa was fresh and delicious, and the guacamole was creamy and flavorful. I think I tasted a hint of cilantro in the queso which was wonderful. We had a nice experience here. The manager Oscar rounded out our night so that our server could go home, and he was absolutely fabulous. Took really great care of us!

I was staying in the hotel for a conference so this was kind of our lifeline in a pinch. I'd really recommend it if you're staying at the AT&T Hotel and conference center. Through out the week I had a chicken sandwich, the burger, and the NY strip. All were very good and was satisfied completely with the orders! Service was good and they also do happy hour. I forget what day but local beers were only 3 bucks, very pleasant surprise.

Shrimp n' Grits with pimento cheese grits

Not many seats for sitting up at the bar which I prefer to do on work travel, but nice staff and service. Chips trio dip appetizer was good. Margarita was good. Shrimp and pimento cheese grits was delicious!

So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. Fries were actually waffle sweet potatoes. Pickled ginger, sesame seeds, furikake, aïoli and a few other wonderful ingredients. Could not get over how beautiful everything looked. Presentation outstanding. Service delightful. Had a wonderful time at Anthem. We both did use the ladies rooms before leaving. Inside the bathroom there is a sign about safety and if you need assistants. I did take a picture of it. On our way out, Brian the manager, said good night to us and waved. We later saw Brian at another place. And I'll write about that in my review for that place as well. Brian, you're Doll, thank you for your hospitality.

Since we ordered basically one of everything - here are our recommendations. Appetizers GET THIS: 1. Corn dog shrimp (think shrimp tempura) - light, flavorful, crunchy YUM 2. Cathead biscuits NOT THAT: 1. Street corn queso dip not a favorite for our table. The cheese tasted thick and plastic like... Velveeta vibes... not much flavor Meals GET THIS: 1. Hangar Steak 2. Creole shrimp & grits 3. Chicken fried steak Not that: 1. Horseradish crusted salmon - I didn't try it but the two people who ordered at our table were disappointed and wished they would've gotten one of the above Desserts GET THIS: 1. Bread pudding was delicious! Not overly sweet & the added white chocolate gives it that dazzle dazzle 2. Chocolate Espresso Brownie - perfection NOT THAT: 1. Banana cream pudding. This was a no for the table because it was over the top sweet (I think because of the added butterscotch) 2. Peanut Butter Mousse Pie super super thick & sweet. Didn't taste much other than PB - it was like eating a giant spoonful of it and trying to swallow.

Friendly staff overall. The food fell flat for almost all of us. The salads were fresh and good. However, the ribs were below average. Cornbread was stale and not tasty. Biscuits tasted more like firm bread and not at all flaky/soft. That seemed weird to all of us. Chicken fried steak was soggy and not crispy. Drinks were ok. Not quite sure why the food was subpar, but there were 10 of us who all agreed we wouldn't return for food. There is a swanky little cozy speakeasy in the basement that may be good? We didn't try that.

We ordered the Prime Rib Sunday special with the twice baked potato, the wagyu burger and fries, and the whipped ricotta with pecan pesto appetizer -- and every single dish was exceptional. The whipped ricotta was an amazing way to start the meal, and the prime rib special was absolutely worth ordering. The burger was also fantastic and cooked perfectly. The vibe inside was rustic but upscale, with warm wood-paneled walls that gave the restaurant a really inviting atmosphere. The service was friendly, attentive, and helped make the whole experience feel relaxed and fun before the concert. Honestly, the hardest part was looking at the rest of the menu knowing there are already several other things I want to come back and try ASAP. Only suggestion: definitely make a reservation. This place is popular for a reason.

There was a spicy mocktail that received mixed reviews from the group but I enjoyed it. Ginger beer, Tabasco were definitely to the forefront in the mix.

It was perfectly cooked with lots of crunch. I think there were 8 shrimp. I loved the jalapeño tartar dipping sauce. I skipped the fries and for more black beans instead. What I should have done is gotten more slaw instead. That slaw a medley of red cabbage, green cabbage, carrots and cilantro - it was so well seasoned. Great food, amazing service, fun setting.
