It's was your average buffet-my family got there early on a weekend and were seated right away. Lots of tables and room for bigger parties. Food was a decent spread of common buffet items however the cakes and desserts were very dry and underwhelming. read more

The fih tasted like fih, the Mongolian bbq spot was pretty fire, Im an absolute alpha so I ate 6 plates, I would give this 4 big booms, not 5 becuz the food be lackin on the spices and flavor, my absolute chudd of my family all ate shrimps and crabs to get their moneys worth, we all didn't eat for the whole day for this~ Absolute cinema read more

The service was excellent. The food was plentiful and tasted delicious! The price was fair.

Stopped by for lunch today. Ambiance: the interior is very nice and clean. Price: $18 for adult lunch. Food: at around 11ish, most of the foods seems to be "pre-heated" from dinner before, except for a couple items. The food that served during lunch time reminds me of Panda Express (mushroom chicken, kung pao chicken, pineapple chicken, broccoli beef, fried rice, chow mein). As for seafood, they only served Clams and crawdad. I love clams, but what I had today was TOOOO SALTY!!! I added hot water to try to dilute the saltiness, and that didn't help. Sushi selection was not that big, and it was pretty simple (disappointing). Drinks: is priced with the meal. With that being said, you can get a decent lunch for under $20 versus to Panda Express. Services: everyone were friendly and attentive to cleaning up the dishes, once we were done with it. We'll try again for dinner to see what selections they have and the flavor. Otherwise, we'll stick with Lone Tree Buffet in Brentwood. read more

Pretty good Chinese buffet that's located outside sun valley mall. Some of the standouts were their fried crabs and shrimp. As well as their clam crab shells. Crab Rangoon was delicious too. read more

Wow, all I can see is come here hungry and leave here beyond satisfied! Family is already asking when we can come back next ‍ Came here on Memorial Day just after 12 pm and could have been seated straight away but was waiting for the rest of my party to turn up. Totally on hubby and older kids for not sharing the same excitement as I do for buffets Actually works out better for your group to all be there when seated since there is a time limit. The variety of food was just awesome: from extensive sushi choices, including sashimi, to so many popular hot Chinese meals like beef and brocolli, dumplings, pool ribs, chow mein and spring rolls. The seafood choices were amazing and included crab legs, oysters, and oh so many shrimp options! Was blown away by the hibachi options but was too stuffed by this point to try it Dessert options were plentiful with ice cream, mini cakes, and ice cream. Was sad that the chocolate fountain wasn't on but made up for it by mixing vanilla ice cream with hot cocoa. Service was just above and beyond from how quickly they greeted me when I arrived and got my party seated once everybody turned up, to how quickly the dirty plates 'disappeared' from our table. Parking is the usual strip mall parking, i.e. can range from plentiful to packed but regardless, it's free. read more

When I saw this new buffet I got excited because I remember Todai Buffet across the mall I used to frequent. The place look very nice and clean. The service is good. That's the good news. The bad news is the food is not that great. And the selection is limited. Not enough salad and soup selection. The seafood didn't have the favorites like clams. The oysters were bland and not as fresh as expected. This place needs to add more selection and hire good cooks! read more

Service was good, all are very polite and welcoming. You have to pay before getting to be seated. I saw lot of reviews saying they have food poisoning so I was very cautious on the food choice. TBH, the plates were extremely dirty, I saw lot of food residues in most of the "new" plates and utensils, so no wonder. So make sure you bring wipes to clean; and I saw a lady was handling ALL raw fish sashimi with bare hands(no gloves) and she was flipping the whole slice of raw tuna around and around, that was so gross so I didn't eat sushi at all. For the foods, $20, what do you expect? All buffets are super dirty, so it's new, good to have a try, but just be cautious of the cleanliness. BUT, good thing is, besides soda machines, they have hot tea bags and chocolate, to people who can't have icy drink Overall, I didn't enjoy the soups (clam chowder, hot&sour soup, nor sago), but out of all the foods, I like the plain red jelly and cooked clams. Personal opinion only. read more

Today, I'm in the Northeast Bay. I'm at Fusion in Concord at the Sun Valley Mall. This looks like a newer, slightly more modern, and popular Seafood buffet around here. They offer a great selection of Sushi, it's somewhat of a more better Sushi spot than some others I've been to out there, everything is fresh. The Mongolian BBQ is way better than some other Mongolian BBQ places I've been to as well, it's way cleaner, organized, and well kept. I really like how there's a large array of condiments, including my favorite Banchan, Spicy Kimchi. And look, at all the Ice Cream for dessert. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.9-4.3 stars, but I give this 4.2/4.3 stars out of 5 stars. read more

The area is clean with many chairs and tables. The service was decent as well, they were nice. We tried the buffet and it was alright. Its mainly asian cuisine. The fried rice was very hard and undercooked. The chowmein was alright. Sweet and sour fish was good and so was the crab rangoons, spring rolls, coconut shrimp and coffee cake. The desserts variety is small and they have fruit. Its $65 for 2 people during dinner time. read more

This seemed like your typical cheap Chinese buffet. No where close to what Tomi was. Not sure I'd go back unless they improve. Most of the hot Chinese food was old, prob left over from lunch time. For example all the chicken skewers were dried up from siting there under the heat lamp. Broccoli beef looked old and unappetizing. Shrimp for honey walnut shrimp were small little shrimps - just doesn't cut it. Sushi was just a small selection. Sashimi did not taste fresh. Drinks such as teas and soft drinks were included which was nice. Service was great! Plates were quickly cleaned off our table. The restaurant itself was nice, newly decorated and inviting. However, unless the food gets better, I'm not paying $30 for dinner (luckily for their soft opening it was only $25). read more

Didn't have any seafood so I can't review it. The staples here being the fried rice and chow mein were incredibly bland somehow. You'll be lucky to have sat down and have warm food on your plate somehow its always cold. Not sure what they were thinking with the pizza the best part about it is the crust which isnt saying much, should just be cheese and pepperoni without the extra stuff its hard to make those bad. The Broccoli beef and general chicken are good however read more

Has alot of food, heavy on the seafood, so I don't recommend for non seafood lovers.,......

Very good experience. Good was great, place was clean and atmosphere was nice. Looking forward to going back.

Someone eat here and got sick , have been vomiting and having diarrhea and eventually was hospitalized . She is still in the hospital. This restaurant should make sure they are serving us a clean food and fresh seafood. They can be reported to county's retail food code and city's health sanitation . Just for this restaurant to be aware and the customers. Observe the hygiene and sanitation' and the safety of the food we eat. It's very hard now a days to get sick . read more

Came her two weeks ago during their soft open. Showed up at 11:00 am which is their posted open time. Was told they were doing a photo shoot and it would be 10-15 minutes. Not a problem, unfortunately it ended up taking 40-50 minutes, but I really wanted to try the spot so we waited. We were seated and went to look at the buffet. The trays were half empty and it was obvious the food had been siting there a while probably because of the photo shoot. The food was cold to warm. Flavor wise..food was okay.., alot of the food/protein tasted like it was marinated in watered down 5 spice marinade. The flavors were almost there just muted. Everything needed salt/msg/something in the buffet. The mongolian barbecue/hibachi had no flavor, they need a sauce bar for it like most mongolian barbecues have, they just cook the veggies/noodles/meat in water, and give it a touch of sauce at the end. Sauce bar or just cooking it in straight sauce would help. Tried adding some soy sauce which didn't really help much. I wouldn't get this here again if I returned unless it improved. It was inedible. Speaking of soy sauce, they need to put one at each table instead of having you put it in a small plastic container at the fountain drink area. The sushi rolls I had were pretty good, they were simple but good. The rice was unseasoned is the only complaint I really had. Fish was fresh, Salmon sashimi was really good but not a lot of it available. It's the soft opening so I understand. Big turn off was the chocolate fountain which looked like it didn't have enough chocolate in it and it just looked vile and off putting. I never use this but it was just nasty looking as the chocolate had took on a weird texture? Don't know how to describe it. The inside is very welcoming and looks good, no complaints there. They definitely try to not look like a typical Chinese food buffet and it works. I might try this place again, but with China Wall nearby who knows. The food at China Wall is better, and the cost is cheaper. If you want Sushi and Hibachi as well as Chinese food the 29.99 price point it a great value if they can improve some and you can enjoy your meal. read more

The foods are great! Fabulous Asian taste! Love it! I will be telling my Filipino friends!

Our first time here w/ my family celebrating my nephew birthday. I heard a lot of recommendation in this restaurant so i decided to give it a try. Its really nice & big place and a lot of option of food. No complain on that. We ate a LOT. The price is reasonable too. The only thing happened was, I asked to put the cake I brought to the their fridge as soon as we came in. & when were done eating, & asked for the cake, they just handed it to us, still in the box. We didn't say anything, but our expectation is they open it and they will sing happy birthday to my nephew. So even i'm wonder i just ignore it and didn't say anything. Then we open the box so to sing to my nephew and so he can take picture too.as soon as we are doing that, one staff came by and told us that we have 10mins left! Im surprised.I realized they want us to leave!maybe they thought we are going to eat the cake there. We didn't realized we almost 2hrs inside already, because we really enjoying our food,we didn't notice the time but if they really want to implement the time limit, they should remind us.since they know we have them keep the cake. We always done this to a lot of restaurant & they sing for us.thats supposed to be the surprised for the birthday celebrant.we didn't talk to any of them.since we kinda rushed to go out. We went out and asking ourself what just happened:( read more

The food was good, the service could probably be worked on despite what happened when my significant other told one of the staff that there was a bug in the fruit. They scooped the bug out, instead of doing what a normal person would do. Maybe a smarter individual. Would change the whole entire tray out??? I just think its unsanitary. That made my stomach turn. read more

Food is bad, front service is terrible. Charge me twice because wouldn't let me in w/out paying, turns out my wife paid for me already.

This place is still working out its kinks. Much to our surprise, the sushi were some of the best items! The Mongolian stir-fry was made with too much black pepper, making it difficult to eat. Some of the steam table items were quite good (skewer chicken, fried wonton with cream cheese) but we would have appreciated all the food heated to a high temperature. Some standard Chinese buffet fare was really disappointed (avoid daan tat and sesame balls at all costs). We did enjoy some of the ice cream plus the chocolate fountain for dessert -- and free soft drinks were a plus. I think I've figured out which items I would get again to make the next visit a more thoroughly positive one. Lastly, the service was very attentive in clearing off dishes without judgment at what we left over, and the place is kept quite clean! Willing to give it another chance in a few months. read more

One star but if there is zero it will be . I am not writing my review based on one time visit or one situation management is not good. They also had bad manners to speak with customers regardless any situation. we were two people in waiting for more than 20 minutes and when we asked them there are so many empty seats which is good for two people if the party size only two people. Eventually they said no will go per group reservation number. So when I explained that section can fit so many people even two or four if the group was up to four they said no still you have to wait because we go by numbers of your reservation not by anything else. That doesn't make sense at all.one more thing there is handicap person were seating on chair waiting. The attendance asked her to stand up because they have to take that chair. Wow great service guys . God is my witness about everything I wrote here today . Good luck read more

visually everything looks sad.... they have all this shiny " crystal"/glass decoration but the atmosphere doesn't match. they have these big chafing dishes and they spread it thin or make a big pile in the middle. unfortunately the section on the edges will dry out faster. like the chow mein i had some hard noodles and pieces of meat were a bit hard. Food rotation/timing must be lacking here. Oysters fresh batch was better and visually you can tell which ones where sitting out long compared to the new ones by the color of it and the dried out edges. I tried one that was there when I first arived and it was gritty. Luckily the new batch that came in the two new ones werent. Maybe it was one off thing. I agree that the food is bland but they have salt and soy sauce on the drink island but utensils and the condiments set up isn't functional you have to reach over the ice cream to grab chop sticks or if a drink line wraps around you have to wait to grab a spoon. Sushi just tasted frozen even had a frozen texture but they were decent slices. The ice cream was bland... i had the strawberry ( dont like chocolate) and i was expecting that artifical strawberry taste. nope that wasn't even there. I came in during a dead time so bussers were very much aware of when you were done. I would recommend coming during a busy day so food would be fresher. read more

Decent buffet and price is right. Selections are fewer than I'd anticipated but met my expectations. It's nowhere near as grand as the previous buffet joint that was in the same mall complex, but give it a try. I think they would benefit from offering a few more options, but overall not bad. They got shrimp, variety of crab, baked cheesy mussels, steamed large oysters, scallops with the glass noodles. The fixings. read more

One of the best places to have your Asian craving taken care of and priced fairly cheap. Food is fresh and service is great.

It's a well-run buffet. Food is always on ice, and trays are replaced regularly. Terrific selection, including plenty of fresh fruit, veggies, and salad, along with calorific options. And the price is fair for what you get. The location is convenient, with ample free parking. I treat myself with a meal there about once a month. read more

Food is very good, chicken skewers were very flavorful. Love the steamed clams everything overall was yummy.

Very good selections of food for the dinner/wkn selections. There's was a waitlist for the wkn but it was pretty fast for a party of 3.

For the price you're paying, Fusion Buffet is definitely worth trying. The food quality was relatively consistent despite having a diverse selection of foods. Though I avoided some of the food that looked like to be sitting out for a while. The Mongolian Barbecue was neat, allowing you to choose what you want, something different from other Asian American Buffets. I was a little disappointed however when reading the ice cream label and how artificial it tasted. Nevertheless, Fusion Buffet is a great place to visit for the price. read more
