Over all it's good experience. Home made style food

Ramen in Surrey? I step into the place and it's pretty clean. It was 2ish in the afternoon but no one was there. I didn't order Ramen but I order the stew pork on rice. I will give it a 3.5/5 The egg was really good!!! The gyoza was ok. The service was average. Price was pretty good and portion was pretty good. If you are a foodie you probably won't like this place. If you just want to find cheap eats with good portion& ok taste then this might be for you!

    Tonkotsu ramen 3.5/5

The ramen slut strikes again. Travelled 9km each way on my lunch hour to try this place. My first impression was good, exactly what I want to see on the menu. Bonus points that there's an option to order extra broth if wanted. I had the tonkotsu ramen which came with bamboo shoots and an egg - yessss, I don't have to pay extra to add them. The noodles were amazing, perfect in every way. The same if not better than my original favourite ramen noodles from Benkei. Then comes he disappointment- the broth was not there at all. The broth should be bold with deep flavours and a certain thickness to it. This was the consistency of milk and actually tasted similar to spiced milk. A big let down but I want to try the others in the menu so I will be back. The experience was more of a 3.5 stars but they have potential so I'm hoping the other ramens will redeem themselves

I was in the area and was wanting ramen for lunch. I guess I'm biased to the ramen shops in Vancouver because the tastes and atmosphere reminds me of ramen shops in Japan. I LIKE the line ups, the tight seating, the staff yelling "irasshaimase" as I enter, their broken English, and their banter with the kitchen in Japanese...just like Japan! : ) This restaurant was big and roomy. Not cramped at all. The kitchen is not as open as other ramen shops. And the servers spoke perfect English (but it didn't mean they understand requests any better). While these might be pluses for some, it's not the right atmosphere for me. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and found the broth to be lacking in flavour. It's missing pork fat that gives the broth the richness that I want. The noodles were a bit overcooked, I found it to be soft and missing the chewy texture. The toppings were standard - it came with only two piece of plain pork, half an egg, and some seaweed. They earned some points for the perfectly soft boiled egg. The gyoza were frozen, I saw the kitchen open a bag of them. I would not recommend, but there's not much choice in this area. It'll do if you're out this way and CRAVING ramen, but lower your expectations.

If you're in Surrey and craving for some ramen, this would be a nice place to get your ramen fix. However, I still definitely prefer ramen joints in Robson though. Aside from their ramen, I also tried their tonkatsu don which was just mediocre. The serving was a bit small too. I had to ask for some tonkatsu sauce since they didn't serve us any and the tonkatsu don was quite bland. As for the ramen, if you've ever had an amazing bowl of ramen in your life, then their ramen wont blow you away. The interior space is very small and mundane. Nothing very special at all with the decors. Even the dishes have no special plating or presentation whatsoever. As for service, I believe there was only one friendly middle-aged lady working at the time who served us. Service was pretty much just getting our order and bringing them to our table. I wouldn't recommend driving all the way here but if you're in the area and willing to try this place out, I suggest leaving your high expectations at home.

This is the only ramen shop in Surrey that I know of. Most of the shops are located in downtown Vancouver. We arrived at 9pm and were one of a few tables of customers dining just before closing time. We were seated right away and served tea. We both ordered ramen combos. I chose spring rolls and my date chose gyoza to accompany our ramen. The food took awhile to arrive. Once the food arrived, I took a sip of my garlic tonkotsu soup. It tasted pretty good! Maybe because I was super hungry too that it was good. The soup was on the saltier side. Egg was soft boiled. Noodles were cooked well. Chashu pork was decent. It was not the best I have ever eaten but it was alright. My date ordered miso ramen and had requested no green onions but the kitchen people ended up adding the green onions. He was given a bowl to scoop out the onion pieces. Our server apologized and said the ordering sheet was difficult to read for the kitchen staff. Maybe they should change the sheet to prevent that from happening? There was no taking the bowl of ramen back to remove the onions or making a new bowl. My spring rolls were made from pieces of shredded chashu and some veggies. It made for an odd texture to bite into. I preferred the gyozas. The gyozas tasted like the Hon's variety. There is nothing wrong with Hon's, but did taste like the prepackaged gyoza varieties. Service was minimal. Our server was busy with closing duties and serving a couple last minute customers who stopped by just before closing. I think this restaurant is good for Surrey standards if you do not want to drive all the way to downtown for tastier options. For people who hate the taste of greens, it must be challenging being served in Asian restaurants and having to find green onion or cilantro in their food order regularly.

I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and pan fried gyoza. The gyoza was perfectly cooked. The filing has a ginger flavour stronger than most gyoza I've had, but it's a nice trade off for a more salty filling. The ramen noodles are cooked well, al dente, and the broth is clean and light. The Chashu pork was a little dry and light in the chashu flavour but still ok. All in all a totally decent Ramen for a rainy day soup fix.

Not bad but where's the meat?

The good: efficient service The bad: price to meat ratio was disappointing. Seriously, paying $10 for 2 pieces of sliced meat isn't what I would call good value. At best the bowls shouldn't be more than $8.95

Today is a SOUP DAY if ever there was one. Granted, I think any day that ends in Y or comes after 'yesterday' is a SOUP day. Most days lunch is boring soup from a can, but lately I have had a yearning for something different. A B.C. local all my life, I love all the ethnic options available to me along Fraser Highway, & I had wanted to try Full Ramen for a while: reading Yelp reviews decided it. OMG soup heaven. I had the kakuni ramen and tonkotsu broth...and despite a brief misstep with an errant seasoned egg (I don't like 'em!) I was thrilled with my choice. Comfort food, near-perfect seasoning, and when I added 4 gyoza for $3, I had almost enough food for 2 (or the 300 let woman I once was!) I don't know if the gyoza are made in-house, but they are big & tasty! A full order is 6 pieces. I was almost done after 3. Almost. I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu!

It's not your typical ramen joint because looking at the menu, they have some other Asian dishes that are from different cultures. It's like a mish-mash of Asian flavours! We stuck to the ramen dishes since that's what we were after, and it was actually super delicious! Firstly, the bowls are bigger than usual ramen bowls from other Japanese joints, so you get a bit more. Your ramen comes with the basic meat/protein and a few add-ons. Optional toppings are available for $1.75 each. We ordered the miso tonkotsu and the spicy version. We LOVED it and thought it was super comparable to authentic ramen places in the lower mainland! Definitely come and try them out! The ambiance is super casual. Good for large groups as they have plenty of seating. Unassuming yet tasty. Only thing is that it's located in a part of Surrey where there's a lot of homeless folks roaming around the area. One even walked in and stopped by our table asking for money, but the owner was able to (nicely) shoo them away and apologized to us after. Apparently that guy wanders in from time to time, but there are usually cop cars in the area. We went on a Saturday night, so just beware of this in case you experience it too.

I ordered the "Red Hot" ramen, and I can't say the soup base is the most flavourful, mainly due to the spice ratio being slightly too much, but it's tasty nonetheless. If you live in Port Coquitlam, this place is worth a try. Long review: Ramen Bella recently opened up its second location in Port Coquitlam, and took over the Mexican gourmet that used to be there. This restaurant has got a great atmosphere, although it's quite quaint and still keeps the old tiling from the Mexican establishment, it fits it nicely although I can't say I feel like I'm sitting in an underground ramen shop in Shibuya. All staff followed COVID-19 procedures, wearing masks and practiced social distancing to the best of their abilities, they disinfected tables and chairs after people left and overall made the dining experience feel safe. We ordered, and our food came to us in less than five minutes, Igot the red hot ramen, and I gotta say it was pretty good. Usually spicy ramen ends up just being spicy and totally overpowering the broth flavour. I can't say the ratio was absolutely perfect, but it was a lot better than most other places. The portion size was great, but I'm not sure how I feel about bok choy and wonton crisps in ramen. The noodles tasted like good quality ramen noodles, but not home-made at the restaurant. This was quite minor but my soup didn't really come out to me piping hot, and more just hot in some spots and warm in others. I trust that it was a mistake considering my lady friends bowl was totally hot though. The gyoza we ordered with our meals was quite tasty. The pork and chives filling was what you'd expect for a restaurant like this, and the size of them was eatable in about two bites. These were super hot, so let them cool off for about a minute before you dig in! Overall if you live in the Tri-cities or Port Coquitlam, this is your best bet for ramen if you don't want to travel out to Vancouver. I think they should change the soup base to spicy ratio in the Red Hot bowl, to give it a little more flavour. Overall, this place has a lot of potential to be great, but for now, i give it a 3.5/5.
