    Red Hot Ramen

Came here based on Yelp reviews and it certainly didn't disappoint. Not only that, they serve both ramen and poke both of which were done well. Ingredients in the poke were fresh and mixed well together. The chashu was easy to pull apart and tasted well with the broth. Will be back if in Langley again.

Alright, second ramen shop in Langley. Let's keep them coming! We had dinner at Ramen Bella around 7pm Octopus Bite (Takoyaki) $5.99 5 normal-sized balls. We expected 6 pieces for this price, but no big deal Flavours: 7/10 your average takoyaki, Savory, soft Value: 6/10 Chicken Kara-age $6.99 6 Large pieces of fried chicken thighs. It was juicy and tender; however, it was too oily. Maybe fryer wasn't hot enough? A slice of lemon to help cut down some grease would help this dish significantly Flavours: 6/10 Juicy, Tender, oily Value: 7/10 The Black (Ramen) $14.99 Shoyu-flavoured chicken and pork broth, roasted black garlic oil, pork chashu, ramen egg, corn, spinach, green onion, and nori The soup had some bitterness from the over-roasted black garlic oil. The ramen egg was overcooked so there was not much custard-like egg yolk inside. The chashu was well-cooked, tender and melted in the mouth; however, the pork flavour was overwhelming. The actual noodles were very disappointing. When you dine out for ramen, you'd expect it made in-house quality, not packaged ramen quality. Their ramen had no chew to it and it was borderline overcooked. Flavour: 5/10 Oily, Savory Value: 5/10 Ebi Ebi (Ramen) $14.99 Shrimp and miso-based broth, pork chashu, prawns, dried shrimp, ramen egg, corn, green onion, cilantro, mixed nuts, and wonton crisp The miso based broth was savory and right away you can taste the shrimp flavours. The pan-fried dried shrimp is a very good idea. It made the whole dish very fragrant and filled with umami. The ramen came with two large fried prawns, which were overcooked to the point you would have trouble peeling the skin from the meat. Maybe make it into a tempura instead? Same story on the egg, chashu, and sad noodles Flavour: 6/10 Savory, umami, oily Value: 6/10 The overall experience wasn't too bad. The service was good and portions were fairly large. They need to work on some details and hopefully these reviews can help them! Will come back in a month or two and give it another try!

    Matcha Latte Ramen

We were extremely happy to hear about a new ramen shop opening up in Langley giving us options as there are limited options out this way. They are located right in the heart of Langley cross the street from Cascade Casino. There is ample street parking and is right on the corner of Fraser Highway and 204th street. Inside is nicely lit, clean and a small amount of seating available. I would estimate about 8 tables that seat 4 and a bar along the window that could seat around 4-6 people. We went right when they opened so it wasn't busy at all. Alot of people come in for takeout. We decided to order the Matcha latte Ramen and the Black Matcha Latte ramen- 100%matcha, soy latte foam, aburi pork chasiu, ajitama, mixed nuts and corn $12.99 This came with a creamy and rich chicken broth base with the addition of Matcha. Broth was very well balanced between the broth and Matcha with neither party stealing the show with a hint of sweetness. Noodles were perfectly cooked and al dente. If your a Matcha lover, then this we definitely recommend you give it a try. Black- shoyu tare, chasiu, ajitama, corn, spinach, and black roasted garlic oil $14.99 This was my favorite of the 2 as it comes with extra meat and lots of black garlic oil. This broth is made of chicken and pork then topped with a generous amounts of black garlic oil which they also make in house. Broth was super rich and the flavor of garlic was up front and prominent. Every garlic lovers dream. The extra slices of chasiu that gets torched just before serving. If your hungry and love garlic, then for sure get this one. Like the Matcha version, noodles were cooked perfectly. I think this has become our new go to spot in the Fraser Valley for Ramen. Next time I'd like to try their Red Hot which is a miso base and the Blue ramen which has the addition of Spurlina which gives the broth a blue color. If you in the area, I would recommend giving them a try.

Mini chashu bowl (add on to ramen order, $3.99)

We stopped by for lunch over a weekend. We were seated right away. Menus were dropped off. I ordered the black ramen ($14.99) and my date ordered the miso latte ramen ($11.99). We added a side of the mini chashu bowl ($3.99) and an order of deep fried gyoza ($3.99). Service was a bit slow. It was busy and our server forgot our requests for water after we placed our order. Once our food arrived, we finally got a couple cups of water after reminding our server. I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl of ramen. The broth was aromatic. The chashu was tender and flavourful. The seasoned egg was cooked to perfection with a runny yolk. Noodles had a good chew. The deep fried gyoza were nicely fried. I do prefer the pan fired ones, but these were done well. I took a sip of the miso latte broth and it was different from the traditional broths. There was soy foam floating on top which added a unique nuttiness. I would return to try the other ramen options. Overall, the meal was satisfying.

Came here for date night and was greeted with great customer service. Server was prompt with water refills and taking order. He was even accommodating with our little one we had with us. Red hot ramen was spicy but the portion was so generous compared to usual ramen places with plenty of noodles. I enjoyed the perfectly seasoned egg and there was even corn included in the ramen with no extra charge. Gyoza was crispy and not greasy. Ice cream was delicious with little wonton chips and chocolate sauce. Will be back!

    Black garlic oil ramen

They serve a legit bowl of ramen! I got the Black Garlic Oil ramen and everything was cooked perfectly. Granted I got my food around 10mins after everyone else got their bowls, but the wait was worth it. The soup was nice and hot and the noodles were cooked firm like I like it. This bowl came with an egg, but I noticed that other more "basic" bowls did not. The place serves ramen on par with the shops downtown, with a more reasonable price (expected). All the toppings made sense and it was just a satisfying bowl of noodles! I also tried their shio, shoyu, and miso broths and they were all very flavourful. I really liked the miso and shoyu. Would come back!

First I want to say that this location is great. The ramen is very flavourful and not to mention filling. I like that's it's open 7 day's a week. I will be back again.

Great ramen here in Langley. Glad to see another ramen restaurant open up. Nice to have options for ramen, as every ramen is different, so it's cool to see so many different types of broths for ramen here. The chicken karaage and the pork here is really good. The Hot Spicy broth is great too. The staff are super nice, highly recommend checking this place out!

Fantastic! It's great that Langley has another ramen spot. The ramen itself was really great, the broth and noodles were delicious, overall it was super flavorful. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very welcoming.

    Red Hot Ramen and Gyoza

Tried this place for the first time 2 weeks ago and have had it 3 times since! I got the Bella ramen the first time and the Red Hot Bowl the second and third, which is my favourite . Also got the fried gyoza which were amazing and the main reason I keep going back. Their to go packaging is also really well done. Highly recommend this place!!

I simply asked the staff member how come the phone app didn't allow me to pick up the item, and he brushed off and said, "It's closed! It's closed!" Without telling me, clearly the restaurant was still open until 9:00pm. I asked a female employee and she was understanding and explained to me that the app shuts down half hour before the store closes. I went in at 8:38pm. I was 8 minutes shy from the app closing. Plus, she indicated the 10% discount applied for a minimum of $25.00 (which was a smaller print on the front door). Even if I tried to order before the app closed, my two drinks ordered would not come close to the minimum purchase. Thirst: Fresh Blueberry Smoothie with almond milk ($1.00 extra) You can substitute milk for homo milk, soy, or ice. An unbelievable taste yearning to drink fast and more of this. Definitely a REPEAT on my list. Fresh Taro Smoothie with homo milk You can substitute milk for homo milk, soy, or ice. This has real chunks of TARO! Yes! An absolute REPEAT on my list. For both drinks, please be careful, as both are filled above the rim of the cups and starts to leak/melt. If you are not drinking them in the store, and driving/transporting these drinks, I highly recommend to drink them until it is below the rim for easier transportation.

The Katsu Japanese Cutlet House - It was that good

The restaurant has a cozy, no-frills interior with dark wood tables and a casual, welcoming atmosphere. It's not a place that tries to be trendy or upscale--instead, it focuses on doing one thing exceptionally well, and that's serving perfectly executed katsu. The space can get busy, which is always a good sign, but the service remains efficient and friendly without feeling rushed. I started with the Assorted Katsu, which is easily the best choice if you want to experience the full range of what they offer. The plate was generously portioned, featuring pork, chicken, fish, and shrimp katsu alongside rice, shredded cabbage salad, pickles, and dipping sauces. The standout here is the texture--the panko coating is incredibly crisp, light, and airy without feeling greasy. Each type of katsu had its own distinct character: the pork was juicy and rich, the chicken tender and moist, the fish delicate and flaky, and the shrimp firm with a satisfying bite. The tonkatsu sauce added a sweet and savory depth, while the creamy dressing complemented both the meat and the cabbage perfectly. I also tried the Kimchi Cheese Katsu Nabe, which was a completely different but equally enjoyable experience. Served bubbling in a hot stone bowl, it combined crispy katsu with a tangy, slightly spicy kimchi broth and a generous layer of melted cheese. The contrast of flavors was excellent--the kimchi brought brightness and heat, while the cheese added richness and balance. As the katsu soaked in the broth, the outer layer softened slightly but still retained enough texture, while the inside remained juicy. It's definitely a heavier dish, but incredibly comforting and satisfying. One element that really stood out was the cabbage salad. Finely shredded and topped with a light creamy dressing, it provided a refreshing crunch that balanced out the richness of the fried dishes. It might seem simple, but it plays an essential role in keeping the meal from feeling overwhelming. Paired with the warm rice, pickles, and soup, everything comes together as a well-rounded set rather than just a plate of fried food. Overall, this place delivers exactly what you want from a katsu restaurant: consistently crispy cutlets, generous portions, and thoughtful balance in every meal. While the interior is simple and it can get busy, the food more than makes up for it. I would absolutely recommend trying the Assorted Katsu for variety and the Kimchi Cheese Katsu Nabe if you're in the mood for something rich and bold. It's a spot I'll definitely be returning to.

The space is understandably understated especially during the Christmas season. Totally ok with the lack of the holiday. We were sat quickly, water dropped right away. It's larger than we thought with two separate areas which would be great if you had a large party. Knowing little about the experience we ordered the mixed Katsu experience and the cheese Katsu, understanding as we always do that we will share the food. The cheese Katsu said right on the menu one order per table, which now makes sense. Eating four pieces of it is just simply too much cheese, so plan on one half per person, hence the one per table. The mixed Katsu had, prawn, fish, chicken and pork portions which were very tasty and a good quantity. Both came with accompanying salad and rice which rounded out the meal. The salad was excellent and the rice was well cooked. We will be back for sure, hopefully with more folks so we can experiment more.
