I would have given 5 stars, but my encounter with a male employee here behaviour towards me was impolite and rushed. I simply asked the staff member how come the phone app didn't allow me to pick up the item, and he brushed off and said, "It's closed! It's closed!" Without telling me, clearly the restaurant was still open until 9:00pm. I asked a female employee and she was understanding and explained to me that the app shuts down half hour before the store closes. I went in at 8:38pm. I was 8 minutes shy from the app closing. Plus, she indicated the 10% discount applied for a minimum of $25.00 (which was a smaller print on the front door). Even if I tried to order before the app closed, my two drinks ordered would not come close to the minimum purchase. For both drinks, please be careful, as both are filled above the rim of the cups and starts to leak/melt. Stopped in here to grab a bubble tea for my daughter, feedback was that it was pretty tasty. Five stars for value Zero stars for ambience- (stock was stacked everywhere in dining area) Four stars for service Super humid inside.What's the deal with bubble tea places and super hot humidity?! The last two I have been into felt like they were trying to grow tropical plants or something?!?! Ordered an oolong milk tea and it was very very plain. No flavor in the tea, boba or grass jelly. The bubble waffle be given 5 stars if it was a homemade attempt, but my expectations for a cafe lowered it to a 3-no chewy crisp fresh nslencw, instead some parts were crunchy and some were extra chewy. It was lack luster service with a sparkle of irritability. Wouldn't come back. read more

Dropped by for in-person order & pickup, but would've definitely been quicker to call in ahead! The place is well set up for physical distancing (although felt a little dark), with floor markings 2m apart leading up to the cash register. While we waited ~5min for our orders, several pickup customers and delivery personnel came in. My fresh taro smoothie (with 50% sugar) was excellent. Up until today this was our go to place! SO let me tell the clear and present story! I made an uber eats order 3 items. one of which is the most popular BUY 1 get 1 Free, and two additional meals. I get a call from the restaurant and the @#$ on the phone tells me I have to buy 2 to get that one (buy 1 get one free). I said " No! I have never done that before, just make the order as it is then... with the 3 items... he says " ok I'll just call uber then"... about 2 mins later I get an Uber message that the order was canceled! I called the restaurant and I said why what my oder canceled.. and the @#$@#$ still is insisting that " that is how this works!" you have to buy 2 to get one free... we have been ordering from this place for well over a YR... and this is the BS that happens today! Yummy neighborhood bubble tea place with tons of options! They have lots of cool drinks and toppings. There's also food and bubble waffles. I would say it's more of a takeout place, although there are places to sit and eat if you're so inclined. I know a previous reviewer wrote about the place being really humid, but when I went in, the AC was on and it was nice and cool. I ordered a mango slush with half pearls, half lychee jelly, and mango pudding. The drink was delicious and refreshing and I'd definitely reorder it. They also have stamp cards, where you get a free drink after ten drinks. Another plus is that this place is cheaper than other places I've been to and the woman working there was really nice. I have been on this plaza for some of my RMT visits and noticed this cafe. I finally decided to stop by for lunch. Service was fairly efficient. I stopped by when the high school crowd was off (I did not know there was a school nearby) and literally two dozen students showed up for their bubble tea fix. I placed an order for a coconut smoothie and udon noodle soup with beef. I could taste some real coconut bits in my smoothie. It was a tad too sweet for my liking so I would get it less sweet next time when I am in the area and craving a drink. The udon noodle bowl was a good size for the the price. It was filling and the soup base tasted homemade. I think it is worth a return visit. It is nice to find more authentic Asian options in Surrey. They also have a loyalty program if you frequent the area. read more
