This store is the best Fry's around by far. The staff is phenomenal. The store is always so clean. The bathroom are clean and smell great. They always have what you want in stock. Maybe I'm just being sensitive but this Fry's is strange in regards to their electronics. I needed a cheap mouse to replace one at the office and for some reason they have the $4 mouse locked to a wall. Fine. I get it. People steal and I understand loss prevention. I've lived in the neighborhood for about 7 years so I always end up coming here when I'm in a hurry. I try my best to avoid it though. I was put in really bad positions while pregnant during the pandemic. One clerk got mad at me for trying to keep distance and physically pushed me into the bag boy to hand groceries to the person BEHIND me who still had to wait for my nine months pregnant self to leave. I ordered a pick up order and had to take myself and three kids into a tiny back room under pressure. My husband tried to buy liquor there and senselessly they carded me too(for the first time in at least 7 years of coming here) but why not my 11 year old daughter too? All around trashy. I'm not the Grocery Store type of Girl... Enclosed Spaces, Processed Foods... Not my cup of tea if you get where I'm going with this. This is the ONLY Location in Gilbert that I can grind my own peanuts (or Almonds) for REAL Peanut Butter, So I visit once a month just for this reason. This Location does have a lot more than the surrounding stores and even other Fry's. Nice All Natural Section! If you dislike Grocery Stores like I do... I'm sorry to say this location has really gone down from just a couple years ago. Since they opened up more self checkout lines, they really don't open too many "normal" checkout lanes. I used to come through this location at least 4-5 times a week, now, maybe just 1-2 every two weeks. The store seems dated already because of how they don't keep up the cleanliness. I just don't think most of the employees care. I went through customer service the other day, and I had to wait while the employee behind the counter talked it up with another employee about coffee..not very professional. This is unfortunate, as Sprouts and Trader Joe's are tight across the street, and their employees at least seem to care. Here goes my first attempt in shaming a business on a Social Media Platform. Today I was shopping at this Fry's Marketplace and at checkout I found an isle that had a customer service manager in her vest checking people out, but the #12 isle light was not illuminated. I asked " Is this isle open?" This manager proceeded to give the one handed gesture and scoffed at my inquiry. I was livid!! I said " Oh, don't let me bother you I will go somewhere else". She started to recant, but I didn't allow her . I waited for 25 more minutes so I didn't encounter her body language. I told my experience to the visual head manager on duty, but for some reason I don't think a single thing will be done. As other reviews have stated.... stay away from this Kroger location. There is simply no customer service. They do not deserve your hard earned money. Go to the other alternative companies who at least value customer service. I sure am. read more

I tried to have a Same day prescription delivered. The delivery times work from 2 to 5, but you had to have it submitted before 12 o'clock for them to do it. So if you have a doctors appointment online and can't go out because you have sciatica in your back and you can barely walk, they can't deliver it to you! This makes it really difficult, I'm sure you would get a lot more deliveries if you had or someone could call up and get something delivered between those hours I was just really disappointed. I live on my own so I don't have someone that can go and get it for me. read more

This is just a rounded-up 1.5 star rating because Jenny will not budge and meet me at two stars. Guess a tie goes to the business. So little to say about the service at this Fry's. On our Saturday morning visit, there were customer lines EVERYWHERE. Customer service, check out, and even the Starbucks. But employees, of which there were many, were in pairs and threes having conversations on the middle of the floor including right at the entrance where entering patrons were forced to maneuver around carts and employees setting up oversized flower displays. read more

The only problem that I have with this frys, is the pharmacy. I typically stand in line for 5 minutes before I am greeted. I have asked maybe 5 times for them to put my prescription on a auto fill whenever I come in and it never happens. Then the guy made me wait 15 minutes to talk to the pharmacist just to pick up my medication. There were about 5 of us waiting for the pharmacist, while he talked on the phone. I could have done my grocery shopping but I was afraid to leave and lose my spot in line and have to wait again. Then the pharmacist skipped me and talked to someone else. Very frustrating! So rude and didn't thank me for waiting. read more

The super fry's has everything I need and is my lifeblood during my breaks and lunch at work. It's fun how this location has clothes and home goods, which are often on clearance. The bakery has supplied me with many leftover cardboard boxes, which I have been saving for my upcoming move. My girlfriend and I went in to this frys like we always do because we do not shop anywhere else, we get our money orders here as well. We went through with self check out and continued to go get our money orders at the customer service desk where Cindy (front end manager) was there. We asked for a $1686 money order and as we continued she asked my girlfriend for her ID. Which again we never go anywhere else and have never been asked for an ID when we use our personal pin for our debit cards. She continued to be aggressive and rude to us because we told her we didn't need to show our ID to prove these are our bank cards when we are putting in our person pins. She continued to be rude and give us a lot of attitude which was definitely not needed especially being a "manager". You are supposed to de-escalate the situation and help your customers as you remain calm. This lady was discriminating my girlfriend due to her appearance and color of her skin. She kept tell us "can we just get this over with" when we asked for the manager she said she was the only one there and said "i don't know what the big deal is" and grabbed the customer behind us and said " im not dealing with this" as she called another manager meghann after she said she was the only one there. Meghann was great and very understanding of the situation and seen how argumentative Cindy was even in front of her. This was completely avoidable if Cindy would have not had an nasty bitchy attitude towards my girlfriend because she is black. Obviously she shouldn't be in customer service if she lacks this skills. I Called the frys in Gilbert that we usually go to and they said you have to show ID after $2000 obviously the system didn't prompt her to even ask for one because the amount did not exceed that. I will never go to this frys or any frys after being treated as such. It's 2021 it's time to get over your racist beliefs and homophobia. She should be demoted. read more

This one star is for the very rude employee I had the misfortune of encountering yesterday. It was Sunday evening at around 4 pm and she was working the self check out on the side where the flowers and produce is. She is a petite, middle aged, blond woman who is clearly miserable. She was so nasty to my husband and I. This is the second time I have dealt with her and I will avoid that lane from now on when I see her. DO NOT GO HERE. SAVE YOURSELF. I wasn't going to review them before but now I am. The cashiers have brought me to my last straw. I am pretty and young and do not look my age but have a VALID. ID. I am from California and since my driver's licence hasn't expired I haven't gotten an Arizona one yet. I often come here to buy alcohol for parties or work or just after a long day and EVERY SINGLE TIME the cashiers have taken issue with it. One cashier said she couldn't take it because I might be a secret shopper and I had to get a manager to approve my purchase. The next day they said I needed an az ID But they'd take it this time. After having taken my miney for an alcohol purchase the day before that The next week I had a lady stare at my ID for a total of THREE minutes. I finally told her my birth date and the expiration date thinking maybe she couldn't find it. She told me oh i was just looking this doesn't look real. The Day after that I thought I would give them one last chance since they are so close to home and within walking distance. I drove here at night and got dropped off by my fiance. Grabbed some margarita mix and a bag of ice and headed to checkout. I handed my ID to the cashier and she BENT IT IN HALF . When I asked her why she did that she replied with "to see if it was thin." I told her it was a real I'd and she could have snapped it and not to do that again. She then went on to tell me the new AZ IDs were thin. Ummmmmmmm I have a California ID. It's not from Arizona. DO NOT GO HERE. RUN. the cashiers have no brains and are stupid when it comes to the purchase of alcohol. I've had a cashier slam my chips on the conveyor belt and another one refuse to bag my things. This is a terrible grocery store. read more

This is a pretty good price it's clean you can get through the checkouts really fast but the only problem I have with it is that they don't carry they don't stock their shelves daily I've gone in one week they have not something I are usually buy and still two weeks later they don't have it don't have back on the shelves. One of the better Fry's locations in my opinion, and the prices are really good to boot. Compared to some of the other Fry's locations, this one has always had really outstanding customer service; they are always willing to help you find something and are friendly at the checkouts. The grocery has always been really clean and organized, and the home and garden section on the left adds a nice variety. The parking lot can get a little cramped with the one-way lanes, but this is still my top choice in the area for a market. read more

My all time favorite frys to shop!!!!! I grocery shop all the time for my family and I have tried so many frys in my life along with other stores to get great deals and great costumer service! I have never been to this frys before this morning, my husband and I went there for some bloody marry mix and ended up buying so much more because this frys was like a target built in with a grocery store!!! We drove kind of far because we wanted to go to black bear diner and I will forever drive this far because of how amazing this place was! Big store. They even have a furniture store and sell fireworks. I just dont like it how the workers follow yiu around like you're going to steal something or do something crazy. I took a picture of something and a second later a voice yelled "what you doing?" really loud. This is the slowest pharmacy ever. They go from one phone call to another completely ignoring the customers who are waiting in person. They quote wrong wait times which are often doubled. I'm not sure what makes them so much slower than other pharmacies. read more

I am tired of giving this store support. Constantly out of items you need...for example, we are in the middle of a really bad flu & cold season, the aisle is wiped out on a Sunday morning (10:30am). Pharmacy called for customer assistance 3 times, after 15 minutes and watching numerous people come and go...I went to CVS. Diary section is always depleted, today (same Sunday morning) I had to open 6 carton of eggs before I found one without cracked eggs, really!
