This is the closest Walgreens to our home, and I've always experienced good service. Today was our first time scheduling an appointment for our flu and covid booster shots. We arrive 10 minutes before our appt and waited until the Pharmacy Tech was available to adminster our shots. We only waited an additional 10 minutes, as he was the only available tech at the time. He was able to get my husband and I completed fairly quickly. His bedside manner was lacking, but as someone who has manned my own office alone before, I get the focus and concentration on other things. stood around for 30 minutes with a crying baby because the pharmacist disagreed with the antibiotic dosing from my doctor. they contacted the pharmacy but he said, nope. haven't gotten a call. just cold and rude to be honest. then after hassling me for 10 more minutes he tells me he doesn't even have the medicine in stock. waste of my time and rude as hell to a mother with a sick baby. read more

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars if I could. Schedule an appointment for a flu shot? Wait an hour and 15 minutes anyway. Have it on file that you can only have a certain brand of medication due to adverse reactions to others? They'll give you the wrong one anyway and then blame you for not checking it at the time of pick up. Have your doctor call over 3 medications? They'll claim they only received one. Need a refill in the next few days? Good luck, you might wait a couple of weeks. Have your doctor write you a script to receive 3 months of medication at a time? You'll only receive one month of medication but charged for 3 months. - Then you get to fight with someone on the other end of the 800 "consumer relations" number in an attempt to get your money back since you were over-charged for multiple months in a row. THIS PLACE IS A HOT MESS. I've never seen anything like it. They are messing with people's health and it is unacceptable. It's no surprise so many stores are closing. Oh, and I don't know his name, but the pharmacy tech with dark hair who works the drive through could not be more rude. I've switched pharmacies and will NEVER spend another dime at any Walgreen's. read more

Newberg, OR location. Flu shot appt. Waited in line for 20 minutes and then told to go to the vaccine window that says covid-19 shots only. Did I mention Flu shot. Then waited another 10 minutes and then another 10 minutes to actually get the shot. Did I mention I had an appointment Service and staff -1 Not enough people and rude with the ones there. read more

Great customer service is hard to come by. Good employees are rare! Sierra and Sidney in this location are wonderful employees! Problem solving skills, friendly, helpful are some of their wonderful traits. They are a breath of fresh air. All the employees here are so nice and the store is very clean.. it's actually fun to go to Walgreen's!

we just went in 3 mins before closing, we didn't know, and this man screamed at us to be quick, so we ran around the store trying to find my specific chapstick and couldn't find it, as i was walking out to leave the guy screamed at us again, he seemed very mean and aggressive and made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. i'm assuming he thought we were going to steal something, maybe because of stereotypes, i have pink hair and don't look traditional, plus we didn't end up grabbing anything. as we were walking out he was eyeing us down and gave us a dirty look, i will not be going back there as he's scary and we could've left when we walked in if he didn't want any customers, we should've checked the time, we didn't want any trouble. we were just grabbing one thing anyways. so don't come here unless you want to be judged and yelled at and scared off. especially as a woman, i'm very intimidated by his harshness. at least his woman co worker was there otherwise id straight up think im in danger and cried. Walgreens is by far my favorite place to spend $80 on nonessential items in 15 Minutes. This particular Walgreens though is absolutely ridiculous. Upon check out there was a price discrepancy on one of my items. The cashier Denise ,from the beauty department, seemed already very flustered and unable to ring up items under the pressure of two people in line. Noticing this $2 discrepancy I alert my cashier. To which Denise ,from the beauty dept, gets even more flustered and picks up her intercom phone and announces that she needs a price check...on a super pack of 50 Kotex tampons! She literally announced to the ENTIRE store that not only do I need a massive amount of tampons, apparently I'm cheap as well. Being a woman I would assume she would have a little bit more sensitivity to the issue but apparently not. read more

Horrible!!! Stay away! I'm leaving the store after commuting 30 minutes out of my way after I called and spoke with a manager who put these aside for me. She took my information and assured they would hold them. I drove straight there to be informed that they sold out! WHAT!?!? Are you kidding? Why do I bother with Walgreens and this incompetence- time and time again? So help me understand why does a customer call and confirm a product is there "in stock" to be told Walgreens is holding it for me in my name, for what reason? Every time I have visited this location, I have been greeted with friendly, happy faces. Whenever I have a question about a product or medicine they have the answers and will also direct me in saving money, which makes a huge difference being a single mom. so, i've live in the area around mesa/ gilbert for about 5 years. i've been to this walgreens on two different occasions, so that you tell you something. all, i have to say is when you visit..... be ready to be ignored and argued with..... by the glorious manager tonya. i would suggest that if a manager is called and the name tonya is said....... just leave or have the dumbest one-sided conversation ever, while she just stares at BLANKLY. dude, save your time and mental strength...... go the another walgreens *please* or just hit up walmart,... at least you'll know what to expect and it'll be cheaper. There was a very rude old female cashier who was checking me out. I was trying to buy an item that was actually only 50% off (~$3) but was marked ~$1.50 or 75% off (original price was ~$6). The cashier scoffed at me & repeatedly (4 times) told told me "It would only be $1.50 if it was 90% off". All I did was ask her to remove it, which was literally a simple press of a button, so her comments were not only a reflection of her inability to do basic mental math, but was absolutely unnecessary to treat me like I'm an idiot. read more

Worst customer service experience of my entire life!!! I went to this Walgreens for the first and only time tonight in hopes of getting a bottle of Nature Made multivitamin tablets. I have been unable to find it at Walgreens stores near me, so I decided to order it online. However, when I went to Walgreens's website, it said that ordering it online was not an option at that time. However, the website did say that it was in stock at the Walgreens at 2345 E Baseline Rd in Gilbert, AZ. I called the store and talked to someone (who later turned out to be the manager) and he told me I could put a hold on the bottle of multivitamins so I could pick it up later that night. I gave him my name and, even though it was over 7 miles away from my house, I went there. When I talked with the cashier at the front desk and told her that I had a bottle on order, she called for someone else to take me to the aisle where the vitamins are instead of getting someone to talk to me about the bottle that was supposedly on hold. A different lady then took me to the aisle where the vitamins are. She had grey hair; she may have been in her late 50s; I didn't get her name. After looking for the vitamin bottle and realizing that it wasn't there, she said it might be in the back and she laughed at me and my situation as she went to check. She came out and said that it wasn't in the back. I showed her a picture of an empty bottle that I have at home. She then got another lady who worked there to come over, and she looked in vain for the vitamins and then laughed at me and my situation. Finally, the manager came out and I explained the situation to him (the women who worked there confirmed that he was the one who I had talked to on the phone). The manager then told me that he hadn't even looked to see if they had the vitamins before telling me that they had them and that they could place a hold on them for me. He went into a back room and called all the Walgreens stores within a 3 mile radius, and while he did this I stood there and waited and determined how long I would wait before just leaving the store. At last, he came out and said that none of the stores he had called had the vitamins. He apologized. I said that the lesson for me to take away from the experience was to go online, and I told him I would really appreciate it if he would check next time before telling me that he could put an item on hold for me. With that, I left the store, shaking my head as I went. What a horrible experience! What a horrible waste of time! read more
