Came in to pick up my prescription at 6:45 and they said they can't cause they close in 15 minutes... ok fine, no worries. "will I be able to pick it up tomorrow when the pharmacy opens?" .... This Walgreens is a ghost town. I've come here twice and they messed up my photo order. Both times I've had to wait for them to reprint even though they said they were ready. I've never heard of a Walgreens that didn't have their pharmacy opened on the weekends, but whelp, here we are. The lady at the front counter suggested several other Walgreens that did have their pharmacy's open on Saturday which was nice and all. I had to switch to Walgreens due to insurance reasons. This happened in January. It has been a complete nightmare. The excuse is "oh our computer system is have issues". And the frustration continues. I will say there is one person who has always been kind and tries to get things resolved and I appreciate that. So, I have started a slow switch to CVS. I constantly have issues at this Walgreens. They either run out of my prescription and fail to tell me or they put prescriptions back and make me resubmit them before the deadline. Went to pick up my inhaler that was "ready for pickup" and was told they'd have to redo it because they put it back into stock earlier that morning. Follow the company rules and timelines, medication isn't something to be played around with. read more

Pharmacy Drive through is awful. Incredibly slow. Even with only 1 car in front of you, expect to be waiting 10-15 min. Nothing speedy about it at all. Why make others wait??? Tell people to come back at a later time if you plan to make the cars behind them wait more than 5 minutes. read more

stay away from this pharmacy! they try to charge you for medication's that were prescribed even if you have full coverage insurance. Also, they made me wait in the drive-through for 12 minutes as they tried to find my prescriptions. Then told me they couldn't hand them to me right now because they are about to go on lunch break and proceeded to close the window while I was sitting there in the drive-through talking to them. I just got out of surgery and needed to take those medication's as soon as possible. read more

The manager at this Walgreens location, Cassie, has no business communicating with customers and certainly no business training employees. I ordered an extremely important set of photos to be picked up at this location this evening. I specifically chose this location because the system said the photos would be ready this evening. When I arrived at the location the first thing I heard was Cassie and her employee complaining about how the 8x10 photos shouldn't have been made available tonight as they take too long to print. When I overheard this I asked if the 8x10 photos I ordered were ready. Cassie immediately told me that they were not ready and that their system was down. She further explained "it's not our fault, it's the internet". No apology, no estimate as to when they would be ready, just "it's not our fault". Helpful pharmacy staff, had issue's with insurance stemming from moving across country here to AZ and the pharmacy staff was extremely helpful in helping me understand the the situation and how to fix it as well. This review is for the Pharmacy, This is the Short Outlined Version: *Prescription was called in by our Veterinary Office for Insulin (Feline) *Picked up prescription and it cost over $379.00 dollars, however; needed medication for my pet cat so had to purchase it. *Opened up prescription at home and found 5 Insulin pens when we only required 1 at this time. (One pen last several months, over 1 years worth, would probably expire before getting to us them). *Called Vets office and they were unaware it only came with a quantity of 5 Insulin Pens (Simple mistake), apologized for the misunderstanding but did explain I would need to address the situation with the Pharmacy. *Called back Pharmacy informing them that when we picked up the prescription no one informed us there were 5 Insulin pens (Enclosed Package) and that is why the cost was so high. If we had that information we could have addressed it right then, instead of having to address it now. Asked if there was anything they could do to assist us. Here is were this gets interesting... ***The Pharmacist Manager by the name of "John" got on the phone and completely "LIED" !! "John" stated that not only was I aware of the 5 pens, but he was present when the "female" employee asked me and I declined a consultation! All lies, FIRST of all I only dealt with a male employee I believe his name was Matt?, Secondly, I was never informed of the 5 pens and Last Mr. John was not present while the transaction was made. *This action by "JOHN" lying as a Professional Pharmacist is Disgraceful! This is my corner Walgreens. I've been getting my prescriptions and last minute knickknacks from here since 2004. The pharmacy is wonderful! We used to have this one pharmacist for years who got to know us pretty well (...by drug store standards. I mean, she knew who we were by the number of ear infections, pink eyes, and colds my kids would get year-round). It was a cool relationship. Anyway, something happened to her but I don't know what it is was. Sad, she's not there anymore (Hold on I need a moment...ok I'm fine now.). The new pharmacists rotate quite a bit so my visits aren't personal anymore. The photo guy with the dreads is way cool! LOVE him! In fact, all the staff there have been friendly every visit. The store is always clean and typically have everything I need in stock. I especially like the discounts I get buying the Walgreen brand. Now, they have a rewards card! Cool! We get points for filling prescriptions too! Nice... I just started the program so don't know the benefits and value just yet. I'll post tips about that in the future. Bottom line: clean, friendly, affordable, and convenient. read more

Walgreens pharmacy at this location is closed unexpectedly again and I didn't find out until I drove all the way there only to find a message on the door stating that "the pharmacy at this location is closed" with no information about when it might reopen. This is a problem because due to my prescription being a controlled substance, I can't get if filled at another location. Even better, I tried calling the Warner location only to be treated to a crabby, unhelpful person who basically told me I was SOL. So, because this location decided to close the pharmacy without warning, yet again, and may not open until Monday or later, I have to try to get my doctor to call in the same prescription to another pharmacy on a Saturday. Sorry, Walgreens. I'm done with you. I need a pharmacy that understands that people are prescribed medications because they need them and not take this responsibity lightly. Unfortunately, this does not describe Walgreens anymore. Bye bye. read more

I have been treated so rudely that after more than 2 decades of using the same store, I will now drive past it to get prescriptions from CVS instead. I was told that a script would cost $150. I told the non-pharmacist attendant that my wife said that Good Rx had it for $49. It is important to know that I am getting a little older and am not tech savvy (my wife had to help me write this), but was given the runaround to the point of frustration because I didn't have it on my phone and don't know how to download the app while I'm in the drive-thru lane. Out of frustration I paid the full price and when I went inside to complain about it, I was dismissed with an attitude and a "well sir, you could have always figured it out". I was made to feel as if I was an inconvenience by not being fluent in the process before I arrived. Also, their corporate site makes it so difficult to give them concerns that I'm not sure that it isn't a reflection of corporate culture. read more

Every person that works here says hello. Whether they are stocking the Pringles or behind the register, they seem to be genuinely glad I am at their Walgreens. There are two main pharmacists that seem very quick and efficient and are always there. They double check dosage and drug allergies for my two young children, which I appreciate so much. I feel at home when I come in or drive thru the pharmacy. Love the "be well" slogan that they sing out to me as I depart their store, too! Customer service award deserved for this store! read more

My son was recently injured and required surgery. The pain pills the that the Doctor prescribed were not doing the trick. I called the Doctors office first thing in the morning to get him something stronger. I took the prescription in to get it filled. i expected to have to wait. i explained to the pharmacist that my son was at home in a great deal of pain and i needed it filled asap. I love this store! Especially at Christmas, but year round too... At Christmas I especially love the little gift sets sold here - but year round I love everything else!
