I was a little nervous my first time at this salon but from the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding! The owner even welcomed me and offered me a beverage. Since my appointment was 8am on a Saturday, I selected coffee; which the owner made while my stylist, Desiree Leon, got me seated and visited with me. She listened to me as I explained that I wanted warm blond highlights, and no ash. Desiree was friendly and efficient. Something I noticed was that the stylists and owner help each other by working together putting in foils, mixing colors, cleaning, etc. The vibe is happy. I have never heard of the product line Lanza. What a fabulous surprise! Everything has wonderful light scents. Unfortunately, I did not realize how great these products are until I left, and have to go back for the keratin shampoo/conditioner and leave in oil. The oil is an absolute must in the AZ heat. My course hair feels like silk. I did not feel any pressure to buy anything, Desiree mearly showed me what she used. I love my color and cut, and look forward to my next visit! Oh, the pricing was fair compared to other salons I have gone to. I do like that that the price is for complete service, and not ala cart.

(Oh boy, I had to edit my review)…read more Holly was very sweet, friendly and attentive. After my cut and style, I felt my haircut (a blunt bob) was cute. However, after washing and letting my hair dry naturally, I noticed really apparent unevenness and choppiness, which I believe is hard to mess up with a simple blunt bob, but here we are. I called the salon and they offered for me to go back for an adjustment, but I said that if any more adjustments were to be made, it'd end up being way too short for me, so I declined. Also, I have a hard time trusting that they won't mess up my hair even more. Also, very aggressive sale tactics. I get that it's slow season and the hair stylist is newer, but pushing customers to purchase more products and services, and asking them to give you a review while they're still physically in the chair, was definitely a little too pushy. Let me clarify: 1. They weren't simply recommending what products they felt was best for my hair, they grabbed three products, took me to the front desk, and left them at the register before I could even get a word in. 2. Asking for a review: yes, it helps building clientele. But my hair stylist asked me to pull out my phone to scan the QR code and leave a review while she was dry blowing my hair. It made me feel uncomfortable and less inclined to do so. Last but not least, the owner's response and communication skill was subpar. For a business owner, saying anything along the lines of "I'm sorry YOU feel that way" instead of acknowledging and being accountable for their shortcomings, is such red flag and it's giving: gaslighting. For the people who have read my review and made it this far: Everyone's experience is different, I hope yours is better than mine, but I know I won't be coming back or recommend anyone I know to this business.

I left this review on google and their response is attached. I DID find an amazing studio called…read moreDesert Blonde that was able to get fixed perfectly on the first try. So no Eden Aveda its not me. ************ Here is the original Google review I left and the response from Eden Aveda. I recently came in to have my hair done by Laura. However, a couple of days before my appointment, I was informed that she had left the salon. I was rescheduled with Crystal, who was presented as a Master Elite stylist. I had booked a partial highlight. The result of that appointment was my hair going from warm blonde to being totally washed out and grey looking. A few days later, I returned so Crystal could try to correct the color she did. Unfortunately, I left with the result of a yellow correction that looked like I try to do it myself. Additionally, my first two appointments with Laura also required corrections. Altogether, I have spent nearly $1,300 at this salon, yet my hair has consistently required rework and still ended up looking horrible. I have photos but cannot see how to post them here. I posted a message on X but have not received any response from this studio. The title "Master Elite" carries a significantly higher price point and naturally comes with a higher level of expectation and expertise. Based on my experience, I am no longer willing to subject my hair to additional corrective services. At this point, I am requesting a refund for my last appointment. I believe that is a fair resolution given the repeated issues and the outcome I received. I normally don't leave negative reviews, but I feel like I need to warn others about my experience…read more I went in for a leave-out weave, and it was a disaster. She used so much of my real hair that it created a huge bump on my head, and she didn't even properly straighten my natural hair -- just ran a brush straightener through it, leaving it kinky and unblended. My edges weren't done at all. I was so upset, I got into my car, looked in the mirror, and cried. She initially told me to come back the next day and promised to remove the weave and give me a full refund. I appreciated that and understood when she said a family emergency prevented her from following through that day. But then she changed her mind and said she'd only refund me if I paid $50 for the removal -- after already telling me it would be free. I ended up having to remove the weave myself, which was extremely difficult and frustrating. Only then did she refund me in full. While I'm glad I eventually got my money back, the whole experience was stressful and disappointing. If you're considering getting a weave or similar service here, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere.

It was clear that your stylist caused it! Your stylist also made me leave the salon with soaking wet hair, so wet that I had to squeeze it out in the parking lot, that's so unprofessional. Thanks, also why would I reach out and trust your hair salon after you mess my hair up 2x? That's insane you think a person would be willing to give you guys another chance! also you deleted you ai responses because you knew it was ai! Im pretty certain the girls name that fried my hair off is Kali. I just got my hair done for the first time since I went to savvy (almost a year ago), and my old reliable hairdresser informed me that savvy stylist fried some of my hair off thus causing a good amount breakage (I was put under heat in foils with bleach on my head for +30 min at my touch up appointment (2nd app) because my hair turned out so poorly the first time) the savvy stylist left big portions of hair out in areas that should have been highlighted, I asked her to complete those sections during my second appointment and she tried to gaslight me and said that my hair wasn't brown on the sides, and when that didn't work she pulled out the stone walling technique and said that it wasn't even an option, so I was left with brown in my hair on the sides of my head. See photos attached. I paid around $300 for a "full highlight" from savvy ( I wouldn't even say I got a partial highlight done with the work they did). The blonde specialist that I went to pulled out all the foils at the same time, which is a red flag in itself because it did not allow the front of my head to process at all, causing my hair to turn out patchy and brassy. Leading to my second appointment, asking for more blonde at the front of my head and she fried my hair off. And talked bad about me throughout that whole appointment acting like I wasn't sitting there. I am still deeply let down that I have to live with the mistakes the stylist made on my hair (frying it off) for many years to come. Thanks
