Had a really disappointing experience at this Sephora location. I understand that stores have closing hours, but the staff made it very clear they were more interested in getting out the door than helping customers. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was unwelcoming--no one greeted me, and the employees were visibly irritated and trying to rush everyone out. Instead of offering assistance, they hovered and made passive comments about the store closing soon, even though there was still time left before the actual closing time. It felt like they couldn't wait to get rid of customers, which made for a stressful and uncomfortable shopping experience. I love Sephora for the variety and quality of products, but the service at this location really sucks when you're spending hundreds of dollars on products. I had some time before meeting a friend for dinner so I went to Sephora to see if they carried a certain perfume I have been on the hunt for. I went in and started walking around testing different scents. When I found one of the employees and asked about the particular perfume, the look she gave me was a stare of death. Like how dare I ask her to do anything. Later as I was checking out highlighters and blush, I saw another older woman ask a question and the worker role her eyes and made a snarky remark at a coworker. My mother in law wanted to update her make up products so my sister and I took her. We ask for a color match and a gentleman who was helping us asked Rosana to help us, as I think he said she was more helpful in this area. Let me tell you she was more than fantastic, helpful, sweet and patient. Although my sister and I are big on make up Rosana was able to explain things much better than us and she helped her find some great products to add to her collection. For myself I asked about a couple product I was thinking about buying and she was honest and gave me a better idea on products that do the same and still kept me in that cost range so she did not try to upsale or price gouge me. My sister was also looking for a great lip balm as she has very dry lips and she was directed to a great product she had not heard of before and it felt like butter and was thick. Nice addition to Dana park. I like that I don't have to go to an actual mall to come purchase last minute makeup. I was in search of a red matte lipstick and shimmery neutral shadow. I haven't treated myself to a new lip color in a minute so this was a great treat. The store is brand new and super nice. Brooke helped me with my purchase. She is very good at what she does and I loved her purple eyeshadow that she had on her eyes! Return factor is high. read more

What a poor experience. I submitted a pickup order that wasn't quite ready but I popped in anyway since I was in the area. The store was dead, mind you. And when I told the lady at the door I had a pickup that wasn't ready she gave me attitude from the start, while there were 6 employees just standing around. She was rude the whole way through. This is a matter of grabbing my 2 items and putting them in a bag. When they finally went to get the items, it took over 10 mins. There were maybe 3 customers in the store. I do not normally make reviews, but my wife was treated so poorly by the staff. She came home dejected, belittled and embarrassed. She told them what she needed which was the same thing she had purchased last several times and she even had the product number with her. The worker then tried to convince my wife that she purchased her foundation at Ulta. My wife then asked about skin matching for a replacement product and the worker said that they she should just open up samples and do it herself. She is not an expert at color matching and really needed help. This was so rude and unprofessional. There were four other staff that would not even look her way and were talking amongst themselves, so she did not feel she had anyone else to ask for help. She has been a loyal patron for years but is now reconsidering her future with Sephora. Please train your staff to be more helpful and kind instead of acting aloof and treating your customers like a burden. read more

This is the worst Sephora location I have ever been to. Their make up artists are so bad at their jobs. I literally had to do my mom's entire make up once we got home. Also, the MUA we got was so rude. Kept telling my mom she had mature wrinkled skin... who does that?? I would've filed an official complaint with Sephora online but the manager apologized and removed the fee so we didn't have to pay for the crappy make up job. So disappointed because Sephora is my favorite store and they usually have the BEST MUAs, not this location. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other Sephora location!! As an employee at another location, it was very disheartening to walk into the location and to experience the level of disrespect and the level of Unprofessionalism and transphobia that occurred. Between the manager, Clara and their LP person. It was very disheartening to walk in there and to be treated like that they followed me around as if I was a thief. The LP person even yelled at me while I was waiting for samples. This is so disheartening i would never treat somebody like that. And for reference, I walked with my phone and my keys. The Dana Park location is staffed with folks that are knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service. They take the time to explain products and the proper technique to use the products. Every one of the staff members at this location was extremely friendly-not snobby at all! Karla greeted me at the front of the store and was very knowledgeable about products. She found an associate to help me safely test products. This is when I met Gabby. Gabby was SO SWEET and helpful! She gave tons of amazing recommendations and helped color match my skin tone-while following Covid-19 protocols. She was very patient and helpful, especially when it came down to choosing between 2 colors. I am normally nervous to go to Sephora because it can be intimidating but this team made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. In tiny print at the bottom of some scrolling pop up they claim you have to use the entire reward at one time or you "forfeit" the rest of the money. Well I didn't know that and a product I was wanting came back in stock so I used $35 to purchase and assumed the rest of MY money would be attached to my account. Well I was wrong. They take it if you don't use it all in one purchase... which I would have gladly done if I had known. So they took MY money and points and won't return either. I was so excited to find out that a Sephora was opening up near my house, however I was extremely disappointed in my experience after visiting the 1st time. The store is extremely small and there is a very limited selection of products. I was not able to find the products that I came in looking for. I asked for help from an employee to find a similar product, but she was very rude and told me she was busy and couldn't help me at that time, but that she would radio someone else to come and help me. She told me to just "float" around the store until someone could get to me. There were at least two employees just stocking shelves, and they did not come over to me to help. This is the rudest Sephora ever!! I went in looking for a face cleanser. I wasn't welcomed in but rather glared at by some short blue haired, tattooed teen girl. She saw me looking around and didn't offer to help so I figured okay, she's not doing anything so I'll go ask her for help. So I walk over and ask her what she would recommend for a cleanser to really get into my pores to clean them and shrink them. Get this. She literally said "oh well I don't think any cleansers we sell here are strong enough for your skin. Maybe see a dermatologist? But I can show you a good foundation with great coverage!". She sounded as if she was trying to make a commission by selling me a foundation when I asked for a cleanser. I couldn't believe how rude she was so I asked for her manager to let them know what type of teenager they hired and maybe get some expert advice. She then said she was the assistant manager and that the manager was out for the day. I find it hard to believe some blue haired teenager would be the assistant manager. Clearly I wasn't getting anywhere so I just left and instead of taking my chances decided to contact corporate. Hopefully the real manager sees this review and realizes they need to stop hiring these rude teenagers who only take the job for the free makeup and not to help customers out with their concerns. I normally go to the Superstition store and will keep going there since their employees actually care about the customer and their jobs, and don't take it for granted especially in these times!! read more
