I understand that stores have…read moreclosing hours, but the staff made it very clear they were more interested in getting out the door than helping customers. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was unwelcoming--no one greeted me, and the employees were visibly irritated and trying to rush everyone out. Instead of offering assistance, they hovered and made passive comments about the store closing soon, even though there was still time left before the actual closing time. It felt like they couldn't wait to get rid of customers, which made for a stressful and uncomfortable shopping experience. I love Sephora for the variety and quality of products, but the service at this location really sucks when you're spending hundreds of dollars on products. I hope management addresses this, because customers should never feel like a burden.

The purchase was a big bust, I returned it about a week later, and a different worker was there. I politely explained the issue and expected I would be offered a credit/refund/ or store credit in some reasonable amount. Instead, she was not interested in doing the right thing, was defensive, and said I was unclear about my complaint. My complaint was straightforward and clear. When she sensed that I was confused by her "argument," I just pivoted and said, "ok, that is a bad decision by you". Some people should not have front-facing jobs. They should work in a warehouse, communicating with software and forklifts, away from the public. This frumpy gal would probably be a great forklift driver. She has no business in customer service - she may own the shop, and that is even worse. That section of 7th Ave is full of nice mom and pop stores with nice folks = not Lotions & Potions. There are plenty of similar stores nearby - GO THERE!

Once I retrieved my makeup item I realized the line to the registers was very long do I looked for one of o Sephora employees so that I could pay with my credit card which I have done every visit prior to this visit. I was told by the employee that paying at the register was the only option. I was shocked since I saw what I would estimate 30 to 40 employees walking around the store of which many had nothing to do. Disappointed with the option to pay I returned the product to the shelf and which visit another location. What a disappointment.
