To call everyone that works in the pharmacy department Dom would be a compliment! You cannot get them to fill a prescription on time literally when your life depends on it. It's supposed to get my refills every 30 days which means the insurance will do it every 28 or 29 days I have my prescription sent in a week or two ahead of time and I still have to wait two or three days past the 30 days because they don't know some months have 31 days. They also tell you they won't refill it at all unless you call them three days before the refill date and remind them to order it.? Moronic and just sad ! I highly recommend if you have serious health conditions like I do to find another pharmacy because this Walgreens will kill you and not care cause they don't think they're doing anything wrong read more

I'm going to say now that Doug the Pharmacist is very personable, and seems to care a great deal.. BUT, Nick, supposedly a floater is the most disrespectful Pharmacist I've ever dealt with.. You mean nothing to him! He will not listen to any concern or issue at all, and he will basically call you a liar to your face and blame you for their mistake.. These are Medications that people rely on, and to have someone who obviously hates his job with a passion In charge of them, will result in a nightmare for you as well... Do not use them! read more

I stopped in to pick up some convenience food. It's an average store as far as Walgreens go with the exception of the liquor store. I found it a little odd that there would be a liquor store inside a drug store. The prices there were a little higher, like those of a convenience store. read more

The Pharmacy personnel is awesome and very helpful. This Walgreens should have a much better rating for the amount of people that are in their radius. Snowbirds and visitors - If you go here, WATCH THIS PHARMACY closely. We were visiting the area and needed a refill for a vital medication. I normally have it filled at the Walgreens at home. I specifically requested name brand instead of generic. They mismarked the bottle with the wrong dose but the worst thing they did was give me generic but charged me the name brand price. Generic co-pay for the exact same pill was $24 at my home pharmacy. This Mesa Walgreens charged me $135 instead. read more

Big shoutout to Sergio and Nicole!!!! I asked about a product ( jar of pickles) that had been discontinued and was immediately assured that they would have it ( just for me) next delivery. True to their word, I was handed a jar of pickles as promised. It meant a lot to me. I know it's not life or death, but I always have a great experience with this store. I just felt I had to let them, and everyone else know, that why go they (Sergio, Nicole, and both Rays) are doing an amazing job over there. I've been using Walgreens for 20 years but not anymore. I will never set foot in another walgreens after today. The Pharmacy techs have bad attitudes, are rude, and incompetent. The thousands of dollars we spend with them each year will now go to a different company who cares about their customers and appreciates my business. I was puzzled by all the bad reviews, it almost made me pass on taking the chance on having a prescription refilled at this location! Turns out it was too convenient of a location for this month, so I gave it a shot. Anyway, long story shorter, I had no issues placing the order, it was refilled faster than the advertised time, and it was accurate (the right order, the right insurance discount applied, etc). Then, when I picked up, with only one person being served ahead of me (not a busy time, so just the one cashier/tech was at the counter), Kathy quickly and cheerfully processed the payment for me. May 08,2020 at approx. 3:15pm-Last time I will ever shop at Walgreens. I came in for vitamin b6 and unisom. I found the vitamins and they were on sale bogo so I grabbed two after double checking I read the sticker correct (every vitamin in the aisle in the brand I chose had this same sticker) I couldn't find the unisom so I asked the young pre Madonna behind the counter and she acted like I was bothering her then muttered an aisle. I asked if she could repeat that because I didn't hear and she rolled her eyes then basically yelled in my face and pointed! I get to the register she rings up my order and it came out that she charged me for both vitamins so I simply asked if they rang up correct to be sure and she said they aren't on sale. If they were it would ring up that way so there not. I told her it had a sticker and offered to go back and take a picture of it while she take care of the customer behind me (I hate being the person holding up the line) I said this twice and both times she ignored me and just stood there staring off into space. Finally I just went to take a picture and came back and there was another brown haired women there (manager I assume) and she told me they were not on sale so I showed her the picture that matched the item exactly and she told me that it was not ringing up in her system so they would not honor it. Whatever I was frustrated at this point and just wanted to leave so I told her it was fine just give me one of them. She looked at me and said "well I'll have to cancel the whole order" OK?? "So you don't want any of the items"? What? No! I want all of them except the vitamins you keep insisting are not on sale even though I literally have a picture that says they are. She said " well I'm going to have to cancel the order and you're going to have to get back in line so I can ring it back up" (there were now about 8-10 people behind me and only 1 slow cashier working. Needless to say I wasn't about to wait in line AGAIN... Walgreens will never get my money again I cannot believe how rude the employees and managers are here. read more

I have been going to this location for three years now for the most part the staff there is friendly and helpful. The Ladies who work cosmetics, Patty, has been very helpful whenever I needed to pickup stuff for the girls in my home. The pharmacist Jaben, is always very helpful and knowledgeable, and you wouldn't know it to look at him, but he speaks Spanish very well. The pharmacy techs are quick and friendly and always greet me with a smile and are patient with my lack of knowledge of over the counter meds and quick to fill my prescriptions. Kathy has been very helpful whenever I can't find something, she is right there to help and lead me to what I am looking for. read more

This pharmacy is the worst by far. They never fill all of my Prescriptions that I call in. At least 8 out of 10 times at least one is not filled. I called them in on Sat. My husband picked them up on Tue. Night only 2 done. I call back right away ask if I can pick up the 3rd one tonight her answer is no we can't do that we close soon. This is a half hour before they close. Thanks for your terrible customer service. The Walgreens on university was able to have it ready in a half hour. So thank God not all Walgreens are run the same way. read more

All I can say about this Walgreens location is WoW!!! I've lived in the Phoenix area 12 years and have never experienced what I did at this location. First I'll say I have 20 years experience as a nurse and paramedic and now manage a group of trauma surgeons. I've done years of clinic work and know the Healthcare field very well. I rarely need anything but a week ago got all of the fun upper respiratory junk. My doctor called me in a Zpack and an albuterol inhaler... pretty simple Rx fill you would think. I go to get it stop #1 of 7 this week. They said my doctor isn't in the system and they close in 6 minutes, nothing they can do. So my doc kindly calls it into a 24 hour walgreens which Google was wrong, not 24 hours. Next day I stop there, pay and get my bag... albuterol inhaler, no zpack. I call the next day and they said I'd get a text when it was ready. No text.. 2 days later I get a call from this walgreens saying my Rx is ready. I go and am told I can't get my zpack until the next day because it was just filled? Now I am a very patient and understanding person and by this time I'm feeling better. Today I'm worse again so try go get that zpack. They did a refill on my inhaler which wasn't needed but if it saves me a stop to this place months from now.. that's a blessing. I get home and open the zpack box and it's empty! By this point I think I'm on a hidden video prank show! I call and the pharmacist "jayden" or similar name tells me in his career this has never happened and that he'll do it once but I'll have an alert on my name in thier system. Wow! You'd think it was a narcotic Rx or something the way I'm being treated? Treated like I'm running an underground zpac selling scam. Come on now. Worst pharmacy experience ever. When I was there I could hear a customer yelling and swearing inside and usually I'd feel bad for them but I have a feeling that's just a normal day at this location. Definitely my last experience with Walgreens and will change. Will also call someone higher up in the company but if this is allowed it's likely to go nowhere. Really, stay away from this location! read more

If you are using this pharmacy, I am so sorry. Go to the Walgreens on McKellips and Lindsay (they are away better). This pharmacy on Broadway and Lindsay is horrible. I waited 30+ minutes to pick up a prescription that they told me was filled and ready. The girl ahead of me simply wanted a flu shot and they could not even get that right. I work with another girl that goes to this pharmacy on Broadway and her husband has end stage lung disease. He uses a medication daily that helps to keep him out of the hospital and the guy that was working just rubbed his head and asked her if she HAS to have this medication right now and that it was the busy time of day! No crap its busy, we work too, it was 6 pm! Get it together!!!!! read more

This place is ridiculous!!! Never had an issue until now because I usually just run in and grab and go. This time a friend of mine came down and we went here to shop for nail polish and nail stickers. The idiot woman who was working in beauty was all nice in the beginning until my friend needed to use the restroom. She gave me her products before she went to use the restroom and came out and was accused of shoplifting. The dumb manager man was a jerk and was clearly judging before even getting any evidence. He clearly felt like an idiot after the fact that he realized he wrongly accused her. My friend took the product to the woman in beauty and she said to her that she wasn't interested in buying the product at this store anymore and the lady said "maybe next time you won't put things in your purse!" Damn check your cameras, check everything before you come at us like an idiot! Never going to shop here. Place is run down and clearly has some idiots running the store. read more
