Had appointments at 12:30 and 1:00 on this recent Saturday and they were a bit bogged down but not going to ding their star rating for that. We were actually done and out by 1:15 and they took both of us in at the same time. They also honor the appointments because once they were ready, they asked who had appointments and who were walk-ins. With appointments, we were taken in first. Great job everyone!

In the same zip code, in same city, from the store up the block or just across the street, prices can be significantly different. So know this going in. Also you should know that having a Rx filled here at Costco does NOT require a membership. You can go online and peruse their list of meds and even determine the cost. You will find that Costco can even fill your pets scrip. Word of advice; avoid some of those flea and tick meds cuz many have proven to be a hazard. "The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning that medications in the isoxazoline class such as Bravecto, Credelio, Nexgard and Simparica may do more than just combat flea or tick infestations. These medications have the potential of causing seizures, ataxia, muscle tremors, or other neurological problems in your pets. Ataxia is a condition in which your pets can't control their muscle movements and thus may have trouble walking, balancing, or speaking. Of course, you may not necessarily be able to tell if your pet is having difficulty speaking. But the FDA warning means that you should be on the lookout for any struggles that your pet may be having after taking these medications." Oh, and you can use online coupons to get a better discount (OR determine if you might want to pick up that Rx elsewhere), but I'm gonna leave that up to you to figure out cuz my years of lessons aren't gonna be given up like that. And pay close attention here. Hours of pharmacy are NOT the same as the warehouse. They also have breaks at lunch. No, their lunch schedule is not the same as yours. Plan accordingly. Last thing, but this is important. Staff is quite nice, helpful, patient, courteous. So YOU BE NICE and dont make their day any longer than it already is gonna be today. Why four instead of five stars? It's Costco. There are lines... at the prescription drop off window... at the prescription pick up window. Above and beyond! My…read more14 week old puppy was released from the ER yesterday afternoon. One of the vet techs called in a compounded prescription to Medmetrics Pharmacy for me and failed to ask how long it would take to fill. During ER discharge, she told me to start him on the medicine same day and the pharmacy would call to let me know when I could pickup. On my 30 min drive home from the ER, Medmetrics called me to get info to setup our acct with them and then stated it would be about 3 days to get filled. Our puppy is really sick and we are just trying to get him enough nutrition and fluids to get him to his Tuesday am appt with an Internal Medicine doctor and the medicine was needed same day (had not been able to keep much food down for 3 days in a row and very weak). Once home, I rushed to get our puppy comfortable so I could call the ER to get other options. I had limited time as my two adult French Bulldogs were in for pre-scheduled dental/extraction surgery and I would need to be able to pick them up late afternoon and monitor them once home. I contacted the ER and was told the vet tech would get back with me in a couple of minutes. Over 30 mins later with no return call, I contacted the ER again. They told me the one vet tech who could handle this was now with back to back discharges and should be able to call me back within an hour or two. I told them I did not have that time and the vet tech had failed to get fill timeline when she called in the script. They told me they would see what they could do. I picked up the phone and called your location to see if you might be able to fill today. Abby got on the phone and said it looked like you should be able to do at least a partial fill. She offered to contact Medmetrics and request a fill transfer. In the meantime, around 3pm I messaged the ER vet tech asking them to contact you about the scrip. She contacted me back shortly after saying she had called all around and the closest pharmacy was in North Scottsdale to get filled (completely missed my note and call to contact you). After asking her to contact you again, she did. Your team was already working on it after Abby contacted Medmetrics. The scrip was filled by your team by 4:30 and my husband was able to run over and pick up while I monitored the puppy He arrived back home to stay with the puppy just as I needed to leave to pick up our other two from their surgeries. Your team went well above and beyond to accommodate us yesterday. I've been a longtime customer and been happy with your services. I just wanted to say again I so appreciate your team and accommodating us yesterday.

Since the shortage was exactly 60 pills, I figured it was an inventory mistake of some sort and would be easily corrected. He told me that the inventory system made that impossible and that I must be mistaken. I WASN'T !! Hey RJ, this script was not for OxyContin or Dilaudid!! I'm not trying to scam the Safeway system.
