8/29 Finally got phone service again. Then the internet started going on and off. Called tech support who sent signals out and no internet and no TV. Tech dropped chat. Called again and found out that he suspended my internet/TV service. Have to call again when account service is open because the only thing I got on the computer was a message to reconnect my service by signing in to their website and paying a bill that is not due until Sept 9th. The gentleman who recruited me for the Internet was very pushy and unnecessarily talkative when I wasn't interested in the slightest, and the customer service to simply cancel an installation appointment was ridiculous. The call center people are simply meant to hassle you and make it as difficult as possible to cancel. I had to repeat it several times and she still rambled about the 12 months of no bill, like the gentleman in the truck did. Also, the gentleman in the truck literally pulled up to our house just as we got home, and that was beyond annoying. I don't use FB or Twitter so canned responses encouraging their use to contact the social media team aren't helpful. Need help resolving a REALLY messy and complicated customer service issue which I have documented but it's quite detailed! Keep getting disconnected from the Customer Service lines, chat is no help, backend office records are disjointed and inaccurate. I have the CEO's email address and of course company mailing addresses, but how can I make contact with someone for effective resolution??? It's a horror story so far and I am prepared to contact the Texas Utility Commission if I can't get it resolved. EDIT: Contacting the CEO seems to have worked. Got a call from a surprisingly capable and competent manager who is working the case. She was refreshing in her demeanor and professionalism, as well as knowledge. Fingers crossed... EDIT#2: All issues addressed/resolved. Awaiting final documentation to confirm. Fingers still crossed until I can finally close the door on this awful experience. Established account late October 2024 with YouTube TV, internet, and home phone. Installed/activated November 2024. 3/31/25 Requested that home phone number be ported to another provider but wished to remain with internet and YouTube TV. 4/1 Porting completed. Received email that all services would be disconnected on 4/1. This was unexpected. 4/1-4/4 All services disconnected 4/1 and inoperable as of 4/4. Numerous phone calls re: issue. Finally told that once home phone number is removed all services associated with it are cancelled and must start over with new orders to rebuild. I had to lift a credit file freeze as if I was a new customer. Told I could not rebuild my YouTube TV subscription w/discount without creating a new Gmail address and would have to go through the Loyalty department to get discount reinstated. Confusing communications and information/data not accessible across the organization during all conversations (phone and chat). Account Service, Retention/Loyalty, Billing, etc. Received an email re: return equipment - if continuing as customer why would I need to do this? Called and was told to keep equipment and I would not be charged - a note would be appended to my customer file. The QR code for equipment return was invalid and could not be used. 3/31 Received email that a technician would come on 4/4 with a new FT order for internet service. This was news to me. I had never rec'd any other communication. Nothing to confirm an order, outline next steps, etc. 4/4 I called to confirm that tech was going to arrive 1-5 pm and told yes. Called later on 4/4 (3:30 CT) and was told that the tech visit had been cancelled. No note re: who at Frontier made the cancellation - I certainly didn't. So....no follow up at all to indicate status whether I have service or not. CSR says I don't have an account. 4/15 Received a bill for internet service. I can't log on because my account was deactivated, yet I get a bill with 4 digits of a new unknown account #. We decided to switch to Frontier after a bad experience with another internet provider, having heard great recommendations about their service. However, on Thursday, March 20th, our signal went out, and as of today, March 25th, it still hasn't been restored despite numerous calls to customer service and attempts to use their app, which simply doesn't work. A technician came on Friday, March 21st, and determined the problem wasn't with the equipment at our house but elsewhere. He checked another location and found no issues there either. He mentioned that a technician with the necessary equipment would come to check the cables on the pole. This technician arrived on Monday, March 24th, and diagnosed that squirrels had damaged the cable, which needed to be replaced. They said a construction team would come to install new cables, but this hasn't happened, and there are NO UPDATES in the app, which is stuck on the report from Monday. In summary, we've experienced TERRIBLE customer service, nobody is listening. During one of the calls on Friday, the representative was RUDE, constantly interrupting me and not allowing me to explain the situation. I hope the call was recorded. The Frontier app, which they boast about, DOESN'T WORK either; it freezes and is unusable. It seems they don't have enough technical staff to address the problems. It's been six days without service and no response from Frontier. This has been a DISSAPOINTING and FRUSTRATING experience with the company. read more

Internet service was established quickly and they told me if there is outage than my internet will work on backup router. Within a month there were quite a few outages and backups never worked. There is a bot chat as customer care that doesn't give proper answers for complaints and there is no customer care number where you can talk to humans representative. I still don't know how back up router works in case of outage. From last 4 days i am using my phone hotspot for internet. read more

I have been without internet for 5 days now and my appointment is scheduled for today between 1 and 5 and I am home waiting but I cannot get anyone on the phone to confirm they are still coming. I received a call from an unknown number about 2:30pm and when I answered and said hello 5 times no one said anything! I called the number back and it was for a service order line but it did not specify what company. I assumed it was Frontier so i waited to see if anyone would pick up. I sat on hold for 45 minutes and no one ever picked up. I went online and got the 800 number and called their automated system but it just confirmed that my appointment was today between 1-5 and then said "goodbye" and then hung up on me. I tried calling back to speak to a representative to make sure that they would still be coming today because I took off from work but it was not possible to get anyone on the phone! Reading all these reviews sounds very similar to my situation. When the internet is working its fast and works well but when you need support or need to talk to a human being its horrible!! Oh ya, and the online chat option won't load! I would give 0 stars if Icould! Time for another internet provider!!! Adding to my review above. To my delight, the technician ultimately called at 4:17pm and showed up about 15 minutes afterwards like he said he would. He was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the problem. I also received a response to my review from Frontier and they advised that they have live agents on Facebook around the clock to speak to. That's funny because that was not advertised on their website nor was it offered as an option in any of the automated systems when I called. This is the most frustrating internet option you'd ever want to deal with! They have hogwash services. I had an old router that kept on tripping and it took a technician 5 days to come and fix it. I stayed for 18 hours with no internet yet they could not get me quicker solutions. The technician came and he said that the router was old and they replaced at their own cost. 3 days later, WiFi goes down again! Their online chat is quick but they go in circles before solving your problem. They will be telling you to do the same thing you've done 1001 times as a solution! I decided to cancel my subscription with them and that was the beginning of another nightmare. Can you imagine they did not have the correct email address to verify my account? So I have to sit here for another 5 days waiting for their mail to verify my account! They will also be making deductions on my account for no services. This is daylight robbery. Worst company ever! Frontier canceled my business internet service without our permission, while I requested to cancel my 3 phone lines. It not only brought us a lot of trouble since there is no internet, but also charged me the early termination fee with no reason. Moreover, the agent did not remove all three phone lines we requested to terminate from my account, but keep charging us the fees! I contacted Frontier and tell them the problem, but no one resolve this issue, furthermore they sent the case to a collection agent. Everything is so messed up with this company. Well, it's now 9:12 in the evening. Still no Internet and after being on hold for over 30 minutes this time, agent informs me that yes there is an outage with no estimated time to resolve. Oh, and the app they constantly talk about while on hold still say no outages. So will be contacting Spectrum to switch to in the morning. Current outage now going on 3 hours. Took over 20 minutes on hold before I could talk to someone. While on hold, message kept playing telling me to use the mobile app. Already did that and it tells me there are no outages. Guy on phone runs test and acknowledges there is an outage but stupid app says there isnt. Today is the 4th day I'm without internet. i spoke to a lady over chat who said that because I did not have their router she could not do more and that my router was defective. I went to BestBuy and had to waste my geek squad warranty on an exchange just to prove them wrong and guess what, the new router is unable to lock in an IP address just like the old one. I finally scheduled a tech through the app on my own. The dude came yesterday hooked one of their routers and same thing no internet. The dude called their service center and came up with some sorry ass excuse that some dude running from the cops knocked out a registry and they were working on it ( for 3 days ok ). The tech said he was going to get on it and promised to come back at 2pm or a little after because that was the ETA they gave him. A day later we have an ice storm here and still no service and the tech never came back. I tried to chat with another one of their useless representatives who told me I had to wait until they fix this weird service outage that by the way they didn't even informed us of until we requested a tech here. We loose internet a couple of days a month for like 24 hours with no explanation to credit given for the days with no service, horrible customer service. I just about had it with this people I'm going back to Spectrum as fast as I can especially since they now have fiber in my area. Coming Monday I won't be able to go to the office to work because most likely the roads are going to be iced over here. With my internet most likely not working by then I won't be able to work from home and get paid, making me loose a day of work. Warning to old people who are considering this company DONT !!
