Great experience here today! My Television went out and thankfully I purchased an extended warranty on it because it is 3 months over past the manufacturer's warranty. When I called to file a claim they gave me three options and this was one of my options and I literally chose them because the owner seemed knowledgeable and nice when I visited with him on the phone before coming in. We set up a drop off for me (they come to you if you prefer, I just preferred to drop mine off. When I arrived, the owner Ray was just as nice in person as he was on the phone. I felt confident in his ability to determine what is wrong with my television. Ray helped me unload the unit out of my truck and get it into his store and then he made out a tag for it and gave me the matching tag and I was on my way. He told me I should hear from him as early as Monday as to what is wrong with it and what he estimates, recommends or even IF he recommends we fix it...we will see! read more

Highly recommend Ray at Bright Electronics because he is a miracle worker. I purchased my first big purchase tv, it was a Hisense - 65" Class H9G Quantum Series that was only 2 years old. The led lights on the screen were flickering causing the picture to go very dim and unwatchable. I called and Ray had confidence that he would be able to fix the tv even after I was ready to give up on it. The Tv was not built to be taken apart at all for fixing but Ray was able to get into the tv carefully and worked hard putting in plenty of hours on it (he went above and beyond to help us out with it). I appreciate the dedication and patience he had to fix it. He saved us money compared to other places that were most likely gonna rip me off. I can't tell you what they're serving is like, because after emailing them to see if I could get some help. Right off the bat, I was advised it would be a $50 trip charge!!! Not one question about what was wrong or what I needed!? Just how much it'll cost to get to have them come out! So it's very clear, they're #1 priority is NOT the customer, but the fees! Whenever I come across a company like this , history has taught me to immediately move on because they're not at all focused on earning your business, they are more concerned about how to extort money out of you! I could have had 5 appliances to to repair, and wanted to start either my tv , but they'll never know that. I would imagine they probably do a lot of driving around charging $50 trip charges, just to say I can't help you!! Pretty lucrative business if you ask me! Sad! read more

GREAT service! Ray was extremely quick, responsive, and helpful. Naturally, I felt hopeless when my expensive 2 year old 70" would no longer turn on. I called Ray as I wanted someone to come out and look at my television - I couldn't bring it in. Ray came the next morning and quickly diagnosed the issue. My husband had to keep on calling him to get update on our tv when he said he will call in few days to let us know. Ray at Bright Electronics is the best if you need a TV repaired or mounted (or other electronic issues, I assume). He was wonderful! Our TV stopped working yesterday, and he came by same day, was very quick to diagnose the problem, was very honest and didn't try to sell us anything or tell us that he could fix the problem. We bought a new TV through Best Buy and he came to mount and install it the next day, for about $100 less than Best Buy would have. His pricing was very reasonable in my opinion, and his service was exceptional. He was also in and out in about 45 minutes! read more

Everyone here is so nice! I also love that they don't offer a diagnostic fee, and after taking my TV there, I realized it wasn't worth fixing. While I was there, I asked if they could repair receivers, and they said yes, so I brought in the receiver for my record player that hadn't been working for a few months. They are a small shop, so be patient and allow a few days for repairs. I promise it's worth it. I got home and hooked my record player back up. It was pure magic to have it working again. I have a 65 inch Samsung plasma TV. It was the last of the large Plasma TVs and the most costly. The TV stopped working and Ray was the only person I could get to come out to the house. I found Ray, the Owner of Bright Electronics, online through Yelp*, in April of 2017. I called him for what I thought was "professional advice" regarding the repair of my broken television. After discussing the needed repairs on the telephone, I subsequently made an appointment to bring my LG 55 GA6400 3D Smart TV to his shop for repair. These repairs included fixing: TV/screen "blackout" when trying to watch satellite programming, when trying to access the Internet, when trying to watch a VCR tape and when trying to watch any DVD's. (normal + Digital HD + Blu-Ray + Blu-Ray 3D) The thing was pretty much non-functional at the time, but Ray said that this was a common issue and that he felt that he could repair it. Two-weeks later Ray called me to tell me that my TV was repaired. I drove back to his shop to pick it up and paid him: $164 for a Main Power Board, a $145 Labor Charge, and $25.49 in tax. A total of $344.49. I took my TV back home and hooked it all up again, only to find out that it was only half-way fixed. The satellite and VCR operations were now working, but not the Internet access nor the DVD playing capability. So, back to Ray I went with my TV. Later that week, he told me that his conversation with the manufacturer (LG) had indicated that another part was needed for replacement, in conjunction with the new Power Board that he had already installed. Three months later....I called him to inquire about the repairs and he said that my TV should be ready the following week. So....back I go the following week to pick-up my supposedly fully repaired TV, but nothing had changed. I called Ray to inform him, he visits the TV at my home to verify what I have told him and he said he would have to call LG back again. Three weeks go by and not a peep was heard from Ray. I called him and he said he had been meaning to call LG and that he would soon. I called him a week later, because I am really getting frustrated at this point. Ray told me that LG said that I needed some sort of programming software upload/patch, that he would need to install directly on my TV, after downloading it onto a USB thumb drive and that he would call me back. OK, so it's another two-to three weeks later and I stop by his store and speak with his wife, leave my business card and ask her to have him call me to finally put an end to this nightmare. Nothing! I have called him multiple times, sometimes speaking to him and other times leaving voicemails that are never returned. On the rare occasion when he does answer his telephone, he always says that he will have to call me back, but never does. This has happened over ten times and counting. Well, here it is now January of 2018, over eight-months since I began my TV repair fiasco with Ray and I am out-of-pocket $334, with a half-fixed television and a one-man business owner who won't return my calls. One who does not even attempt to now feign interest in wanting to complete the repairs on my TV, or admit that he does not know how to and/or offer a refund (or at least a partial one) for his services non-rendered. The only reasons that I have awarded him two stars is because he half-fixed my TV and his demeanor has been nice while he has kept lying to me and filling me with false hopes. I am pretty sure that Ray is in over his head on this one, but unwilling to admit it. The newer technology out there now, has possibly surpassed his capabilities. At least it has with my TV! My experience with Bright Electronics has been a waste of my time and money. Unless you want to risk having the same sort of inept experience that I have had to endure, you may want to seek-out your electronics repair services elsewhere.... read more
