I reached out to Best Buy, and they explained that the price had gone up while I was trying to complete my purchase, leaving them powerless to help. The representative I spoke with acknowledged my frustration, but mentioned that their manager insisted I would have to pay the new, higher price. This is just one example of the numerous instances of poor customer service from Best Buy, prompting me to end my relationship with them and their Blockbuster-esque treatment of customers. They seem to think they are too large to fail, disregarding the impact of one customer in the larger context. This is a dreadful company with no moral compass, and I look forward to witnessing their decline into the same misguided path that Blockbuster followed. There used to be over 5,000 Blockbuster video stores; now, there is only one. Best Buy has just over 1,000 stores (as of 2026). They have also failed on an international scale, similar to Blockbuster, and soon we Americans will see what this company truly is and stop falling for their shady practices

We set up a drop off for me (they come to you if you prefer, I just preferred to drop mine off. When I arrived, the owner Ray was just as nice in person as he was on the phone. I felt confident in his ability to determine what is wrong with my television. Ray helped me unload the unit out of my truck and get it into his store and then he made out a tag for it and gave me the matching tag and I was on my way. He told me I should hear from him as early as Monday as to what is wrong with it and what he estimates, recommends or even IF he recommends we fix it...we will see!
