Getting the back glass replaced was $89 + tax and when I paid, she held down the receipt covering the tip line. Whether that was intentional or not, I appreciate that she didn't ask for a tip. She called when it was ready and it was right on time of what she estimated. The phone looks great and when I walked in, she was trying to polish the scuffs off (there was no hope). On the Oct 29th between 11am and 12pm. After coming from my therapy. I decided to stop by at the Vphone Repair to clean my phone. Because my iPhone had some dirt around the speakers. When I went inside and I asked the lady who was working there at the moment. If she can clean my phone and she said yes she can and also told me me it will cost $20. Which I agree to pay, usually any other place they only charge $10 to clean because it doesn't take that long to clean. I would say hardly 5 mins. I checked the voice quality which I played on YouTube. I was satisfied but when I came home and talk to my brother and other people on the phone. They all said you sounded far away. Even I put them on the speaker they all said the same thing. I thought since she cleaned it. It might take same time to dry out but that was not a scenario. Then I had to go out of town even then I was facing the same issue. I came yesterday out of town and today decided to go to the shop and speak with the person about this issue. Because everything was working fine before the cleaning. When I went inside of the store and I spoke to the Asian guy and explained him everything. He called the Asian lady and told him about the phone cleaning. Then Asian dude trying to explain me they only cleaned outside and did not accept the mistake they have done. They damaged my iPhone. When I ask him how we going to fix the issue. He said they need to change the part which cost $85. I told him first of all you guys damaged my iPhone and you are excepting me to pay that amount. I will tell everyone not to go to this place and waste your money and save your phones before it ended up damaged. I believe Asian dude was the owner of the shop and rude. My wife's iPhone died, and the Apple Store wanted a ridiculous amount of money just to tell her whether or not any of the data could be saved. Rather than spend the money and be uncertain, I figured it would be best to get a second opinion so we stopped by the same day after work. The wonderful employee quickly explained to us what our options were and then was able to quickly determine that yes in fact, the motherboard was dead, and none of my wife's information could be salvaged. This shop has gained my business for any of my repair needs! I talked during the day about the issue I was having with my daughter's laptop and then was able to go by the shop after work. It has been having charging issues and hasn't been used for months.
