IFix? More like IBreak! Went to get my battery fixed here and fast forward a month later and phone won't stay on for more than 30 seconds at a time. I took it to CPR phone repair in little elm and they pulled my phone apart and showed me how damaged my battery was and how it was just rattling around in the back of my phone. They never even peeled the adhesive off to keep the battery in place! Said my battery was not fixable and would be better off just getting a new one. That's exactly what I had to do and just can't help but feel like I got completely ripped off by this place. I'm just glad I didn't bring it back to them because they probably would have done the same thing to me and sent me home with a broken phone. Long story short just save the time and energy and go to CPR phone repair. They will save your money and technology in the long run read more

Terrible, zero stars if i could. Do not come here unless you want new problems with your device. I brought my phone here because my screen wasn't working and in return i received the poorest quality screen I've ever seen. Bad Contrast color, discoloration on apps, emojis, pics etc. and screen glitching like crazy. And to top it off they did something to my battery to where it drains unbelievably fast! My battery life was perfect before bringing it to these people who have no idea what they're doing! read more

None of what you said in your response to my review is true. I clearly stated all my concerns to your staff while in the store (I call that contact-and I am pretty sure you were standing at the counter too)-I was not told about a 30 day warrant, or an option of an Apple screen I didn't choose anything. Are you saying you will give me my money back if I call you? Tell what number to call! I will gladly call it. I called the one on the website many times with no answer! And, I was not given a choice regarding what screen to have put in. I assumed it would be an Apple product. And, yes "my common sense" does not apply to cell phones...I did not know the screen would not fix the camera issue! I had a very bad experience the front desk person was very rude i would not refer them to anyone. I understand your policies but when your front desk person is rude it reflects on your entire business. She could have been polite and not rude, but it seems you guys have no customer service and rather argue with me than try to make me a customer No worries went to Best Buy and paid them $180.00 to fix my computer. They were nice and mention it would be 3-5 business days The way they said made me feel comfortable. Again you guys need to work on your customer service. WARNING! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. I should have posted this bad review months ago. This business seems to use the Colony Police Department to dodge legitimate customers complaints. My apologies to the customers who have had miserable experiences like my own. Had i posted this promptly I could have perhaps saved them from the same bizarre experience I had. They installed a defective hard drive on my computer. I learned that when I took it to a competent repair shop who very quickly diagnosed the problem and installed a new drive. Sadly, I lost all of my information in the process. They pulled the same stunt they have evidently pulled on other customers - they became belligerent and refused to fix my computer. When I asked them to either fix my computer or give me a refund they refused and told me to leave or they would call the police. I told them I would leave. While the husband continued to try to argue with me, the wife was already calling the police. They seemed suspiciously familiar with this scheme and I perceived at the time they had pulled that on dissatisfied customers before. Looking at other Yelp reviews, it appears that they have indeed. I told them to feel free to call the police. I told them i would wait outside for the police to arrive. Then things really got weird. And I have the video from my cell phone to prove it. After I left the store, I stood out front in a common public area and called the police 911 to request that the police officers come to meet me on the parking lot of that strip center. I wanted them to know they were receiving a false police report and wanted to explain my side of the story.. While I was outside the store, the owner actually came outside and accosted me.I was trying to disengage by leaving as he requested. That type of behavior is both bizarre and somewhat threatening. Characteristically, , when i told him i was recording him on my cell phone, he went into his Slander The Customer mode. Without he or his wife ever actually examining my computer, he maliciously accused me of viewing pornography on that computer, causing it to crash. I had never viewed porn on that device, so that was a flat-out lie. The police came out and I explained to the the situation. Then they went and spoke to the owner and his wife. The police told me that there was no offense on my part. They did, as a matter of routine practice, issue a Criminal Trespass Warning to me. That is just standard protocol in case someone ever decides to go back to that business after an incident. I'm curious how many Criminal Trespass Complaints have been filed by these business owners? I needed no notice from police to prevent my returning to that location. I never want anything to do with them again. I hope prospective customers will do the same. If you find it difficult to believe these negative reviews, please note his antagonistic responses to the negative reviews aLready on this page. He is not in the least accommodating or conciliatory and his responses, like normal business owners are receiving complaints Please notice that it is always the customers fault, not his. also note, how he consistently portrays himself as the victim. iFix saved me a lot of money in the long run. So happy i found them. I needed to return a new Samsung phone i bought for a gift but unfortunately the recipient had already cracked the phone. Of course the provider wouldn't take it back with damage so i did a quick Yelp search and found that this iFix location had just recently opened and was only 5 minutes away from my home! The lady at the front counter was very sweet and gave me all the details about pricing and all that. I was able to pick the phone up in roughly an hour and all for under $100. **CUSTOMERS BEWARE** of the cell phone repair place called iFix on Main Street in The Colony. Horrible customer service from the owner! My son had his phone fixed their on 8/12 and the screen had been finicky ever since. This morning the screen had lines up and down the front of the phone, so we took it back because they told us there was a 30 day warranty. About 20 minutes after we dropped it off the owner called me to say the phone needed a new screen, but that he would only charge 50% because he just replaced it. I was confused, as we are within the 30 day window and I was returning to his shop because there was something wrong with the screen THEY had recently installed. Naturally I had some questions. Right away he got frustrated and started talking over me, louder and louder, not letting me speak. I'll admit I'm not the most tech savvy, but what he was saying didn't add up and he wouldn't let me ask my questions. It was so frustrating! He continued to talk over me, berate me and call me stupid until he hung up on me. It was as a really bad experience and I'm still a little shaken. I really think he was talking to me like that because I'm a woman and all I can think is, in this day and age!? Shameful! Like how is this guy still in business? Very friendly and quick but I don't know where they get there replacement parts from. I've had the charging port replaced twice on my phone and it will only charge on off brand (not Apple) charging cords and it will only charge when plugged in on about 2 out of 10 of those cords. I'll go back there to get screen protectors and cases but probably not internal parts. UPDATE: I was just called by the owner and cussed out and threatened. Review was posted as a 1star originally due to losing signal and me closing the app out. without finishing. I originally gave it a 3 star because the staff was very friendly and professional but now that we've seen the true colors of the owner I'm comfortable with a 2 star. read more

DO NOT USE iFix in The Colony!! Poor customer service!!! My phone hasn't worked properly in over a week!!! First when I got the phone back my front camera wasn't working, wouldn't focus. Then my phone wouldn't receive cell phone signal!!! I've had to take it back 4 times!! Then after my phone STILL isn't working I request a refund (for the second time), the owner Phillip tells me when i come to his store in the morning he will have the police waiting for me!!! WOW!!!
