I took it to CPR phone repair in little elm and they pulled my phone apart and showed me how damaged my battery was and how it was just rattling around in the back of my phone. They never even peeled the adhesive off to keep the battery in place! Said my battery was not fixable and would be better off just getting a new one. That's exactly what I had to do and just can't help but feel like I got completely ripped off by this place. I wanted to get the screens replaced before going back home. Staff: I met Chad (the owner), super friendly guy, who I called ahead of time before heading over to ask for the price of replacing the screen. Unlike all other places who try to bait you by saying "we'll give you a quote in person" - Chad was really transparent about prices and what services were offered. Walked into the store, was greeted immediately, and screen replacement was on its way within minutes. Location: Great location, right off of I-35 in one of the strip malls next to Smash Burger. Small location but is expected for such business. The inside was very clean and chairs were available in the waiting room to wait while iPhone was being repaired. Close enough to a lot of other shops near by where you can go grab a bite or walk around to kill time. Value: This place, of 5 other places I called and visited, was the cheapest in the Carrollton/Lewisville/Coppell area. Charged me $99 + tax for iPhone 6S Plus screen replacement. Most other places wanted AT LEAST $129 + tax. He also offers via Yelp, a complimentary tempered glass with check-in. Timing: So I have to admit, I hate waiting; maybe it's because I'm from NYC and I'm extremely impatient but then again, who likes to wait? Well, Chad quoted me over the phone that it'd be a 30-45 minute wait, but I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes. Dropped off my phone, went to my car, made a phone call and in no time, phone was ready to go. Screen replaced, tempered glass installed. Overall: Extremely nice owner, wants the best for his customers to earn your business. They also do iPads, computers, etc... essentially any electronic gadgets! After a series of terrible things happening in the last few weeks, I awoke on Tuesday, after 3…read morehours of sleep, to see the laptop stuck in some sort of updating loop. Feeling certain that nothing else could possibly go wrong, I went with denial and went to work. Imagine my surprise when I was heading home and my husband informed me he was unable to perform a factory reset. ;) So I turn to Yelp, and this was the first listing I called. The staff was very professional on the phone, and very helpful with answering my questions. I was told a diagnosis would be $50 and then that cost would go towards the cost of repair. In discussing options, he told me that a fresh install would be $90 plus tax, while backing up files would be $135. He suggested we come in before close so they could run the diagnostic overnight and keep the timeframe within a couple of days. I did call a couple of other places, just to check my options. This place seemed the most professional and had reasonable prices, while others were at least $65 more. Other places also stated they would have it 2-3 days minimum, but this company seems to understand people don't like being away from there stuff too long, lol. My husband and I brought it in about 5pm, an hour before they close. Based on our description, he seemed to understand what it was and said there had been many issues with an update in the last couple of days. They were of course going to verify with the diagnostic. It took such a long time to boot up that we started talking about the potential of a corrupted hard drive. To replace at it's normal size would not really add on to the time and would be $50. We even discussed upgrading it, which would be another $40, but add a couple of days for ordering parts. He assured us that we would get a call in the morning after they looked over the diagnostic, and they would let us know the exact problem and price before starting additional work. I liked this as I want to control my overall cost, instead of having it happen to me, whether I want it or not. We had already discussed what we wanted to do based on the age of the laptop and what could and couldn't be replaced on it. So we had an idea of how much everything would cost from the beginning. Since they are open from 9am to 6pm, we were hoping that one full day would be enough, but figured it might be a day and a half. I received an email with the status notes before I even left the parking lot. Nice touch! They called within an hour of opening the next day, but I was completely slammed at work and didn't get the message until closer to noon. The message was very detailed and assured me that our hard drive was fine. The call back was simple and easy and they got to work. Due to the time of the day, they said they would call if it was ready the same day, but it would most likely be the next morning. My husband picked it up around 10:30am the next morning without any surprise fees or issues. We even had our favorites menu still intact, and I can barely get my work tech support to do that right, haha! Overall, we are very satisfied with $135 plus tax to save our files and not have to buy a new laptop. The turn time for work is reasonable and the employees are knowledgeable. Hopefully, we don't need to see them again any time soon, but I would definitely use them again if the need arose!

Sad story. This was my second experience with them. First time they replaced the broken screen on…read moremy Motorola. It was not cheap but acceptable. And the service was very good. Then I brought them more difficult task Xiaomi phone with fingerprint sensor. They told me that there are 2 options - cheaper, but without the sensor, and more expensive, but it would work as original. I have picked up the later. When the phone was ready, I found out that the sensor was not working. And there it started. Instead of admitting the mistake, they started blaming me. The lady (later she appeared to be the owner's wife) came out to the front and told that the sensor needs to be initiated after screen replacement. I asked to help me with that, but then she told that there was a water damage exactly where the sensor sat. But the phone clearly showed that the sensor was not working. I did not shout, I only asked one question - why did you lie to me and why are you lying now. The exited lady when back, saying that she would put my old screen back. Then the owner appeared and insulted me with the statement that I am not welcome there any more; that I brought troubles to their establishment. After all instead of suggesting me to adjust the price of suggest me any other kind of satisfaction, they told me to pay in full or they would put my old screen back. I had to pay but this was the biggest frustration of the year for me. I always try to support local business and this was very my disappointing. To realize there attitude, you just need to read their responses to negative reviews. These ppl know nothing about responsibility, respect and customer service.
