Sad story. This was my second experience with them. First time they replaced the broken screen on my Motorola. It was not cheap but acceptable. And the service was very good. Then I brought them more difficult task Xiaomi phone with fingerprint sensor. They told me that there are 2 options - cheaper, but without the sensor, and more expensive, but it would work as original. I have picked up the later. When the phone was ready, I found out that the sensor was not working. And there it started. Instead of admitting the mistake, they started blaming me. The lady (later she appeared to be the owner's wife) came out to the front and told that the sensor needs to be initiated after screen replacement. I asked to help me with that, but then she told that there was a water damage exactly where the sensor sat. But the phone clearly showed that the sensor was not working. I did not shout, I only asked one question - why did you lie to me and why are you lying now. The exited lady when back, saying that she would put my old screen back. Then the owner appeared and insulted me with the statement that I am not welcome there any more; that I brought troubles to their establishment. After all instead of suggesting me to adjust the price of suggest me any other kind of satisfaction, they told me to pay in full or they would put my old screen back. I had to pay but this was the biggest frustration of the year for me. I always try to support local business and this was very my disappointing. To realize there attitude, you just need to read their responses to negative reviews. These ppl know nothing about responsibility, respect and customer service. read more

My iPhone kept turning off randomly and would not power back on. I knew the back was broken for a long time but kept in case. Turns out battery was loose and connections bad. They successfully fixed the issue in one day. But next day it did it again with power off, battery low and would not power up. The battery went bad. They replaced it quickly and fixed the issue I cause with screen protector too low carding front facing camera to be wonky photos on top. It was time to replace the screen protector and did it at no charge while in the shop. Sooo fast too!! Cannot recommend them enough! I've received excellent customer service every time I have brought my devices here for repair. I don't expect them to be less expensive than an Apple store; however the turnaround time and level of support dealing with a smaller business versus the corporate behemoth is a cost I'm willing to pay. I noticed a recent review where a disgruntled customer commented that Apple told them a 3rd party component caused a failure. That is not true. A 3rd party component compared to "Apple approved" will not cause a failure. That's a false statement massive companies tell consumers to prevent them from accessing alternative and more affordable options. Since Apple (and other companies) can't force consumers from purchasing 3rd party components, they use "scare tactics" to scare consumers into thinking if it's not "Apple" or "Cisco" approved, then you're at "risk." Google the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1976 for more details on OEM's and 3rd party components. In short, OEM's cannot force consumers to purchase "OEM-approved" or "OEM-branded" components; therefore, OEM's uses the aforementioned "scare tactics." Yes, there are 3rd party components that are lower quality than others; however, many "3rd party" components come from the exact same manufacturers only without the exuberant sticker price to see "Apple" or "Apple approved" on it. I am not sure where this store purchases said 3rd party components; however, I do know they won't cause your device to "fail." You can put 3rd party memory, for example, into a laptop and it won't cause your computer to die. I mean, you're taking your device here because the original component failed already. Morgan is a Super Hero! I've had the ifix team replace a battery in my iPhone before, but didn't realize they specialize in fixing computers. My 10 year old MacBook Pro finally went out on me. The owner, Philip, just got into a shouting match with me, bragging and cussing about how he's the owner and can do what he wants. My ex dropped off my Son's phone, the battery wasn't charging. They called my ex and told her it was 40 to diagnose, she told them to contact me, as I am paying for it. Another gentleman, who was very polite and professional, told me they could replace the screen and battery for $300, but it would take about a week for the parts to get there. It's a Razer phone, so I agreed, pointing out that it was important that they replace the screen, because it's all scratched up. Well, it's been a week. I got a call today from "Philip the owner" and was told that they didn't replace the screen because it's not broken, but it was still $200 just to replace the Battery. I asked if they could replace the screen. He said they already sent it back, which sounds suspect. I said I thought I was paying $300 for the Screen and Battery to be replaced. He kept talking over me and I couldn't complete my sentence. Fianally I asked him to stop talking and listen to me. Then it went to shouting and cussing. I told him I'd pick up my phone tomorrow and he said he'd put it "Back to Broken". I called the other location to tell them what happened. They said I would still have to pay the $40 "Diagnostic fee", even though I agreed to pay to fix it and they didn't, and they're in fact now putting it "Back to broken". I agreed to pay the fee when I pick it up tomorrow. We shall see the condition my phone is in, he seemed pretty angry. read more

I had a really good experience here! So, I accidentally broke our work laptop lcd screen, and we had been using it like that for months- hdmi output lol. Finally decided to fix it and found iFix through google. We called ahead of time, and dropped the laptop off-no charger or case needed. They had the part we needed on hand, and were able to fix it within about an hour! They text/call (up to you) whenever your electronics are fixed and ready to be picked up. He turned it around same day (within about 2 hours) and even charged me LESS than the quote as a new port was not needed as originally thought. I dropped and cracked my iPhone 5s glass while on a walk today. I refuse to get another iPhone anytime soon, call me frugal! Lol...Of course I got on Yelp to see if there was any place close by that would be able to repair it. iFix got really good reviews, so of course I called them. iFix is right here in Carrollton and the guy was super nice and said to bring it by and it would take about an hour to do the repair. It's in a strip center. I walked in, I was surprised to see a really cool, hip, brightly decorated interior (I'm and Interior Designer so I appreciate these things! :) I had some grocery shopping to do so I left and came back about 45 minutes later and it was ready. They recommend getting a screen protector, which I did and they put it on for me. Give them a try if you need a reputable place to repair your smart phone! read more

Great service - definitely recommend. Called Phillip and asked for pricing and when I could get service with my location in Frisco. He offered same day service and offered to meet at a location of my choice. He arrived on time, was nice and we had a great conversation while he fixed my phone. He's very organized and kept all the pieces of my phone on a cloth and magnet while he was fixing the phone so that nothing would be lost. He used to work in a shop that fixed iphones, but decided to break off and start his own business, which makes sense because he definitely doesn't need the overhead of a big place. I was impressed being able to choose the time/place to get service done. Didn't take long and the phone was back to being brand new. I was nervous about making sure it worked ok, so he stuck around while I played with the phone to make sure all the buttons worked exactly the way they did before. *Note - I mentioned his prices on yelp are wrong, and he mentioned that he has tried changing them but is unable to. He has a call into yelp in order to edit the page, but he did honor his $10 off yelp deal, so he still came out cheaper than the other places around the area.
