Is your phone important to you? It is to me as much as anyone for my line of work. Twice I had to fix a cracked screen: My daughter's phone was the first time and was like 15 minutes. The second time my case did not save my phone and I had to have him replace screen as well as the battery and he gave me a loyalty bonus and was done in enough time to go to Home Depot and back. Here's the math, in my opinion: Is your phone worth $150-200 and about 20 or so minutes? Stated differently, a new phone will cost you $600 and last you 2 years. This fix should have me good at least a year, which is a $100-200 savings...and gives me that in warranty. I cracked the screen on my laptop and needed it fixed fast. Because of the size and it being a few years old they didn't have the part in stock and told me it would take a week to get it. My PS4's HDMI port was broken by family members. I called around and found that they did the repairs for the same cost for me to buy the equipment and take the risk myself (they've obviously done this many times over). They fixed it flawlessly. I've cracked my screen 3-4x and refuse to get another phone for some odd reason so places like Ifix of Carrollton are great! I got my phone fixed & glass protection screen for a little over $100 and the best part - it took less than 20 minutes! Most places ask for 2-4 hours at minimum to do a 10 minute job. Terrible customer Service!!! Do not take your iPhone here. They replaced my daughters iPhone 11 screen with a 3rd party screen - not an Apple approved screen and did not tell me it was a 3rd party screen. Once there was an iOS SW push, the phone died. I took the phone back for additional repairs and 11 days later they called and said the phone could not be repaired. I decided to take the phone to an authorized Apply iPhone repair center who got the phone working and advised that iFix used an inferior 3rd party screen and that's why the phone died and continues to have issues (can't find cell service for hours at a time, back-ups fail). In settings, the phone states "Unknown Part". iFix said they could not replace the screen since I had taken the phone to another repair shop even after they told me the phone was dead. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE. As a repair shop, they should know not to use non-Apple approved parts as there will be issues. read more

This place is AMAZING. I dropped my phone at the airport returning to DFW from Boston. The screen spider webbed cracked. I landed in Dallas and stop by this place on my way home (Friday at 5:00). They were friendly and so freaking fast! They replaced the screen and on a new screen protector in less than 10 min! Not kidding. Total cost $120. My iPhone 6 was totally DESTROYED. The screen was so badly broken that pieces of glass were falling out. The button along the side which silences the phone was stuck and broken. I had badly abused the phone. I took it to iFix today, dropped it off, and went to get groceries. When I came back my phone was fixed like new. I elected to have a screen protector put on as well and the total was only about $120. Totally worth it! My phone looks beautiful now! My iPhone 6 wouldn't hold a charge unplugged for more than about 15 minutes, it took 4-5 hours to charge, and the screen was separated from the phone at the sides. I went into the nearby shop, showed the man working my phone (sorry I didn't even ask his name). He glanced at it and explained that the battery was swelling and replacing the battery would fix both my issues. He said it would take about 15 minutes to repair. He did the repair in 10 minutes while I waited, maybe less than 10. He brought the old battery out for me to see and it was huge, he offered to recycle it, a practice I value. I found this electronic repair business tucked away in a strip shopping center near my home. I took my laptop in after having spilled water on it. Philip repaired it and got it up and going. When I picked it up, he explained that the warranty was good for one year and that the corrosion might return. It did, but Philip made good on the warranty and replaced the wifi chip at no extra charge. I call that amazing service. Additionally, Philip will come to you to do repairs. Had an issue with the port in my laptop. The first place I took it to said it would be $180 just for labor and another $40 at least for parts. I took it to Ifix instead and they were able to do it total for under $90. Not only was it cheaper, but the service was fantastic. They told me it would be one day or so to complete when I took it in and that they would call me when it was ready. The day came and went and I hadn't heard anything which wasn't that big of a deal until I received a phone call around 7 from the man working on my computer. He said that he wanted to be a man of his word so even though they were swamped he would wait up after hours if I wanted to come pick up my laptop because it was done.
