If I could give zero stars, I would. My boyfriend and I went in just to fix the back glass on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. During the repair, they accidentally broke the front glass and replaced it. We were only charged for the back glass, so I thought all was fine. Later that day, my phone started glitching -- the screen wouldn't stay on, it stopped responding, and went black during calls. I don't live in Rowlett, so I couldn't return right away. When I called to complain, the man said I'd have to pay for them to fix the front glass THEY broke and reinstalled wrong. Do not use! SCAM , they "fixed a phone only for it to go blank(blue) screen a couple of days later, he said to bring it back if any problems which we did. He then claimed it was "dropped in a special way that cracked it internally" the phone has a Otter Box and a screen protector which I paid him to put on, but apparently the "special" drop would not be protected by either of those, so we would need to pay him another $100 bucks to repair. I got a quote online and drove quite a way to get there so that I can get the screen and battery replaced today. Unfortunately, they didn't have the battery that was needed on site when I arrived. Someone from one of their sister locations actually drove from Plano to this location to help me get the iPhone 6 battery. Do not go to the Rowlett Fix it store in the shopping center where CC's pizza is located. I took my phone up there after work on Tuesday evening around 630pm. The young lady in the store fixed my screen in 15 minutes. I was totally happy and I paid and went home. Today wed I went to work and I put my phone on my desk because I have a business phone. It sat on my desk all day so in case of an personal emergency I could see it. At 430pm. I grabbed my personal phone to go check on a building before leaving I noticed my phone was pink and then it turned purple. Then my phone went black. In less than 24 hours of getting a new screen my phone was broke. I called the manager whose name is Jerry got on the phone and I explained what was going on with the phone. He was so rude and quick to blame me without accessing the phone. The conversation wasnt going well and he refused to fix the problem. He told me to bring it up to the store and we will tell you what the problem is. Well the receipt I had said I had 30 days if anything went wrong and this was less than 24 hours. I did go up to the store. Jerry was not there but a young man was there. Once he realized it was me he called Jerry and the two of them conversed on the phone in their own language which was disrespectful to me the customer. I did say that to him and he changed the language. He (Jerry) was on the speaker going back and fourth with me it was after 6 so I decided he was being combative with me so I called the police. The police did show up and I truly apologized for bringing them I to this matter but I needed proof of the whole situation. That is exactly what I got from our finest Rowlett Police department. I got the managers number which he refused to give and a police report. Now I am saying all this because. I am a retired Flight Attendant of American Airlines after 29 years flying and two years in supervision. I am now over a senior community in Personalized Living. My life has been customer service for 35 years. All he had to do was honor his receipt and give outstanding customer service to his fellow resident of Rowlett but he chose to blame me for the young ladies mistake. I found out the lady did a rush job and gave me inferior parts. My phone was glued somehow to the case where even the young man couldn't get it out. Now my phone is totally damaged. Instead of just a screen replacement. A total custermor service nightmare. I've lived in Rowlett for 21 years. We shouldn't want people that are not good to us. I am out of money I feel like was scammed and the manager mishandled a person who has given that shop business to the prior owners for awhile. Please be cautious on what you do at that store he is not a decent I dividual. Of course there is more to the story but this was the highlight. I went here yesterday after cracking the screen on my phone the night before. First oof let me say, I have had Motorola phones for a few years now, and cracked the screen on the first one that I ever bought, a Moto X. I called several repair shops around the Dallas area and no one would work on it. All they would repair was Apple and Samsung phones. I had recently gotten my phone screen fixed for a second time here, but this time the price had gone up a bit, which was still cheaper than anywhere else in the area by $50 so I didn't mind. However after having the phone fixed I put a screen cover on the phone and the screen sensitivity wouldn't register my finger whatsoever. After coming back and discussing the problem, I also mentioned the increase in price, which I had said was totally fine but if I'm going to pay extra I would like to have a working screen. After showing him a bank statement from my last visit at his request and more discussion on the phone with someone I'm assuming was his supplier, he brought in a whole new phone that had come in and exchanged screens. Everything worked just fine with the screen afterwards AND he gave me the difference from the last order (which I didn't ask for him to do) and apologized for the inconvenience.
