Came in last week got my front and back screen replaced. Good as new and done in less than 2 hours. If you just need the front replaced its much much much faster turnaround. My husband actually found this place due to him "always" breaking his phone screen...smh Well I brought mines in because of water damage and they changed the motherboard and the screen AND...gave me a free battery. Thank you for saving my abused iPhone 5! The poor thing has been dropped, thrown, and rained on quite a few times, but it finally met its match after it face planted onto the concrete right outside my doorstep D: Not only was the glass smashed, the LCD screen had that purple splotch of doom, so I couldn't even unlock or swipe the phone. (Turns out this is the only time where Siri comes in handy-- texting by voice via Siri was the only way I could text people!) I had hopes going into the Apple store yesterday... But since the Apple store's system was down for the weekend (Nyuuuuu!), one of the guys working at the store recommended Fix-A-Phone to me. Recommended by a Genius? This place *has* to be good, right? Turns out, that Apple Genius is indeed a Genius. Waiting a few more days and bringing the iPhone back to Apple would cost $100-120ish dollars and tons of inconvenience, and Fix-A-Phone fixed it for $59.54 ($55 if you pay in cash) and even threw in a tempered glass screen protector! The place is in an empty sketch plaza, but the workers at Fix-A-Phone were really courteous and nice. They finished the job in less than 15 minutes. :D Aside from being an ER for cracked phones, Fix-A-Phone sells a bunch of cases and actual phones as well. I had my phone fixed for the same reason last year in Houston for $120 (although iPhone 6 wasn't out yet), and this place had me in-and-out faster and cheaper. I have to say I'm extremely impressed. Came in after seeing other reviews and a referral and they were able to fix the cracked screen on my iPhone XS Max for $160 in 30 minutes. The screen works just as new, they provide a warranty in the rare event the touch isn't as responsive as you'd expect, and the prices are great especially if your device isn't covered by warranty elsewhere (talking to you Apple ). If you are not tech savvy enough to repair your phone yourself then this is the place to go. It was repaired a lot faster than what they quoted. Good price and fast service. The guy helping me even told me that if what he said was the problem didn't fix the it there was no charge. Picked up my phone and not only was it fixed, they had fully charged my phone. I have an older phone and they don't try and talk you into upgrading. I will definitely use them again if I need a cell phone repaired. read more

I wish I could give it a 0 star to start with. Had a terrible experience with the service. I travelled all the way from Plano since I heard good reviews about the shop. I had to replace my iPhone 6 screen which had broken. They charged with $80 to replace the screen. But within 2 days the screen came out from the top and eventually it had a crack. I went to the shop again since the screen was not fixed properly and asked them to replace it. They denied to do it firstly but at the end they replaced it and said 'we won't give you a warranty on this service and will not replace if it comes out again'. And now after another 2 days I see the screen is again coming out, the display is not very clear and the touch is not performing properly and there is nothing I can do right now. It's really difficult to see that service provided by the shop is of such a bad quality. Moreover I have wasted so much of time to get my phone fixed but with no good result. I will advise others to be check twice before going for service to this shop. read more

Service in this store is bull***. No doubt it's cheap but all cheap things are not good. I went there to fix my iPhone 6 screen , it was cracked so that repaired it for 80 bucks. The screen started come out after 2 days and finally cracked. I took my phone to the shop to show them there work , how can screen pops out of phone after 2 days , there response was , you didn't handle the phone properly otherwise it wouldn't come out and second thing is they said the screen is cracked now I can't replace it for free you atleast have to 40$ that's very annoying. After argument they were ready to fix for free but the condition was "if it comes out again we are not responsible". They are not confident about their work and the thing is my screen has come out again after fixing twice. NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP !!! Pay little extra and get work done. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I took my phone here just to get battery replaced (iPhone 6Plus) it took him no time to replace the battery. But when i left my camera stop working, I could not hear on my phone at all! I couldn't FaceTime. I called right back and spoke to the same guy that replaced my battery, He told me no problem come back and I will fix it he will be there . I go back up there the very next day and he was not there it was a different man who told was so rude to me and totally blew me off! He told me I did this to my phone. I explained to him my phone was in GREAT CONDITION before bringing it up there! I just needed a battery replacement everything was working on my phone before the replacement. I told him the guy that did the job told me to come back an he will fix it he told me no I have to pay $150 to fix the camera and sound and told me he will not talk to me anymore totally blew me off ! I'm extremely PISSED OFF! So now I'm suck with a messed up phone when everything was in good condition! Why would I pay for something that y'all missed up ! The customer service was horrible and didn't even try to fix it. I will never go back there or refer anybody. Before I tell of my experience I want to point out that Sharif Tamini (and possibly Moe Tamini) work at or own Fix-a-Phone. They wrote positive reviews for their own company on Google Reviews so be careful what you read. Reviews are suppose to be unbiased from customers to tell of their service. I wrote a review on Google reviews and they responded that they didn't recognize me and kept records of every customer. My name was not requested as I waited for service. They can not deny that Sharif (and Moe?) owns or works at Fix-a-phone and and on Google Reviews they gave false reviews to promote their own company. After I wrote this review, they took Sharif's review off. AGAIN, READ THE REVIEWS CAREFULLY. I went to get my phone repaired and when I got it back the glass was fixed, but I could not hear anyone any more. When I took it back the guy who supposedly fixed it told me that it had to be bad when I brought it and they wouldn't fix it unless I paid more. I ended up taking it to another place and when they opened the phone up the new technician told me the speaker or cable or something had dislodged and he fixed it immediately. He told me it could have been an accident, but that sometimes places do that to get more money. I will not be going back. They may or may not have accidentally broken my speaker, but they wanted to charge me more and I knew the sound was okay when I took it there. read more

I would NOT recommend this place. We didn't feel great about the place when we walked in and while we were there, they turned away four people saying they couldn't fix the problem. I came for an iPhone 6 screen replacement and they tried 4 different screens, none of which would respond to touch once put on. They told me my phone had touching disease and that there was nothing they could do. Had them put the old cracked screen back on (which works) and went somewhere else where they had no problem fixing the screen. read more
