Saturday night. Two people reading table and the place was packed people standing waiting in the lobby no help from the hostess. The place smelled bad and visibly dirty. After standing there for five minutes looking at some empty tables were told by the hosts they did not have enough staff to accommodate the amount of people that were in there. We were told we would have to stay in there and wait for some patron to finish and leave before we would be sat. Unfortunately I have to leave one star in order to write this, when this place deserves a zero. I honestly don't think I've ever had such awful service in my life. My family and I waited over two hours and never even got our food. During that time, no one came by to update us or apologize. They said they were understaffed and playing catch up in the kitchen. To make things worse, the manager was incredibly rude -- not helpful, not apologetic, and definitely not professional. Instead of trying to make things right, they spoke to us with an attitude and made the situation even worse. We ended up leaving without ever getting served. Well, we decided at the last minute to make some final dinner arrangements and most of the time we take Uber or Lyft everywhere nowadays since my friend had an automobile accident and most of the time we go to friendly thinking it's a nice place to go which most of the time it is, but there's at least 30% of the time it's not that busy and you can't get seated which to me goes unnoticed most places at this particular time it was raining. We ordered Uber because it was a cheaper way to go and the place had a small group of people in the middle of the store and there were two waitresses. They couldn't handle what they were doing I'm sorry they just couldn't deal with it. Just awful.... The hostess sat me and I waited a long time about 10 mins..... no one ever came to greet me or to take my order. Out of all the Friendly's we've been to this one is by far the worst. Hostess/maybe floor manager is not welcoming. Server placing trays on tables, food, trash and silverware on the floor that out of the 4 staff on the floor, nobody chose to pick up. Literally tossed the menus on the table. I got the Turkey Club Supermelt. Thick piece of unmelted cheese, somehow overcooked turkey and the bread was toasted so much that I couldn't take a bite of the edges without nearly cutting my mouth. Dined here a few weeks ago and was overcharged on my credit card. Instead of disputing my credit card, I decided to call them to explain the situation and get a refund of the amount overcharged. I was promised a refund but it never came. After following up with the managers several times, each time in which I was promised the refund was being processed, it never showed up. After two weeks, I finally gave up and just disputed the overcharge with the credit card company, something that I should've done from the beginning. What a total waste of my time. read more

Took out lunch, one of my favorites. Fishamajig super melt. Was hot, fresh and crispy. Rarely disappoints.

The girl at the drive Thru was nice enough- they remade our food because our pick up time was somehow off (honestly could have been my error) so I appreciated that and in turn didn't mind the wait. I was a bit dissappointed when my kids and I got home though and I noticed that our order was incorrect in a couple different ways. They also forgot the sauce I ordered (and paid extra for) for the chicken tenders and fries (which we had two orders of) so I had to force my kids to eat them with ketchup... sounds dramatic. One of the best experience I've ever had at Friendly's.. I have a sick friend who can't go out of her house for anything and her favorite thing is the tuna sandwich at Friendly's. It will be something that would at least put a smile on her face and that she would least eat some of it since she hasn't really been interested in eating anything. The folks at Friendly's were very understanding they put it on the sourdough bread that she likes instead of the roll it is supposed to be served on. When I brought it to her she was just so excited the smile on her face was worth everything. I'm so glad that she finally ate something and at least it was something that was good for her and that she liked. She will only tunafish just made it home or at Friendly's. I stood at the counter for 20 minutes waiting to place an order, there were at least 5 employees that kept walking back and forth and not one person asked to help me. I hate to do it Friendly's, but this was sad! Ordered online and the food was ready as promised. That is where the positive ends. It's not the Friendly's of 5 years ago, and definitely not the Friendly's of many many years ago! I got the original classic cheeseburger sandwich The photo looks just like I remember, I was psyched! You know what I mean if you have been in the past! The one on toast, the classic Friendlys cheese burger, and I asked for grilled onions and ketchup on it, and fries on the side. The toast of my burger was like Panini pressed (so untoasted on the inside and pressed outside) not toasted the way it used to be. Thin greasy bread not anything good about it. The fries are not the fries they use to have either. They are terrible quick cooked almost frozen grocery store type fries, although that's being too nice There is no way they could ask you how you'd like your burger ( they didn't), because I held a plastic knife up to it and it literally is about the thickness of the side of the knife ( the thin side) see photos ! Really disappointed I was hoping they could turn around and become successful again because I used to love them as a kid but this just isn't good at all. And nothing like Friendly's was. Place a order ok fine 30 minutes to make. To stand in line for 25 minutes to pick it up at the front desk. Crazy the staff and service has really gone down hill. Sucks because we Love the place and Food! Nice brand new restaurant, ice cream is top notch, Lots of staff running around. Place is clean. The girl who took my order, Emily, could not spare a smile. Or eye contact. She actually put the slip in the counter for me to sign, along with a pen, and walked away without a word. Lots of non customers hanging over the order counter fraternizing with employees. Place seems a bit loosely run but it was close to 9pm (which I can only assume was closing time judging by the demeanor of the employees.) The service here is terrible. I brought my family here including my 3 year old son to eat. We sat for 20 mins without a waiter coming over. I had to tell my 3 year old were leaving who desperately wanted a chocolate milk shake. After we left, I watched from the parking lot to see what would happen. Within 10 mins I saw people seated in our seats and served drinks. I am not sure if these people are racist but my family is bi-racial and the people that was seated were all white. I would say that is the case with this friendly's but from reading the other complaints on this site I am not sure. Management and the employees should all be retrained. If retraining doesn't work they should all be replaced by people who are humane. read more
