The Bigger Mac Burger

In town for a birthday and this place looked good on Google. They were able to take a same day large party and the waitress was exceptional. Very kind, helpful with recommendations and always had our drinks topped off. EVERYTHING looked and tasted great. The food came out on time and no complaints. The restaurant looks great inside and out. Because of our large party we had a little room off to the side. Can't wait to go back.

Pistachio desert was pretty mid, it felt like they just bought some industrial one and put whipped cream on it. Zero flavor and the texture was like, not even resembling pie or cake The rest of the food was good though, I've had previous positive experiences here

I've been here two times, once earlier this year and once more tonight with my family. My experience last time was really good, but I'll be writing my review based on tonight's experience. My parents, brother, and I had made a reservation for 6:30 and arrived at the restaurant a little early. Even though the restaurant was crowded, we were still promptly seated. One thing about The Fix that I admire when I visit is the interior. It is quite spacious and well put together and the table we sat at was huge. My whole group was definitely comfortable. For drinks, my brother and dad each got a draught beer and I got one of their cocktails. The one I got this time was holiday themed and called "The Krampus" which was delicious (and it definitely packed a punch). For food, we got a fried pickle appetizer and each of us got a burger. I got the Rodeo, my brother the Stark, My mom got a classic burger and my dad got the Tuna burger. The Fried pickles were really good - the pickles were extra Briney and paired super well with the horseradish dip that accompanied it. And everyone in our group liked the burger they got. The rodeo burger was extremely tasty and the jalapeño hashbrown provided some really nice textural contrast. My only gripe was that I asked for my burger medium but it came out more medium well. Overall, I think The Fix is an extremely good establishment to stop by with family or friends, grab a few drinks, and enjoy a really nice burger. 4/5

Burger bowl

Just an okay place. It has potential to be great, but seems to be lacking something. Staff was friendly, no issues there. Food came out quickly no issues there . I had a burger bowl with some wilted greens with brown parts. Salmon bowl was meh per DH. It's in a nice location with a water view in the parking lot and probably the outside seating but we sat inside, still too cold for outside.

Phenomenal Burger with Poutine

I have been to the Worcester location so happy to see them with a new spot in Marlborough. Everything I like about the other location I expect is here. A very top notch burger experience, I say it is worth having an adventure I shy away from just a classic burger. The other thing I had recently I would call out is the Poutine. They have great fries here, so adding gravy, cheese and the fixings just now makes me have 2 meals. Worth the price but definitely going to add the guilt you may need to throw an extra workout in to pay off.

11/24/21: On the way up to New Hampshire, we stopped in the Fix Burger Bar for lunch. I'm glad we arrived early because by the time we left, the waiting area was packed! I ordered the Spartan Burger. The burger had herbed goat cheese with a side of house fried chips. My friend had the American Wagyu Burger. Both burgers were good! One felt safe as the booths had high separation walls. Overall customer service was very good.

The Gatsby Burger with onion rings.

Place is cute and ambiance is low key just like I like it to be. I went to lunch around noon on a Thursday and ordered the Gatsby burger with onion rings and it came pretty quickly. The burger was made with wagyu beef and omg! INCREDIBLE. To say the least. So so good. The server was cool. I'll definitely visit again because I'm a true Burger Girl so when they're great, I have to go back!

And I also have the old fashioned. It was delicious. They made it with hard grapefruit seltzer that they brew themselves. It is very refreshing. I also tried the seasonal latte flight, a cider donut and the banana brûlée latte. I was very pleased with the peppermint mocha. It was minty but not overly so. The gingerbread latte was the best flavor. The cookie butter latte was good. And the vanilla cardamom was my least favorite. I would have liked more of the cardamom flavor. I like that you can try all the seasonal flavors but I would like it better if it was customizable instead of being preset. The service is pretty good. I think you can open a tab or you pay each time you order. There is no waitressing, so they call you up to the bar to get your order and you bring back your dishes to a corner of the counter. The bar/beer side was pretty slow service. I waited for a while to place my order but once I placed my order it wasn't too long before I received my drink.

The restaurant was also hosting a teacher appreciation event where teachers ate free which I thought was amazing of them even though I'm not a teacher. We had to wait a bit due to the demand that evening but it was not bad to stroll around a bit. They had pretty diverse staff and they were all very friendly and seemed committed to the restaurant and good service. They also seemed to know the menu quite well and proud that the restaurant makes everything from scratch! I got chimmichuri steak flat bread and my friend got a salad. We shared the seasoned fries. I would not think of these flat breads as pizza. Once you've mentally made that jump, the food is really good. I enjoyed it and it was a good amount as well. My friend also ordered food to go for her partner and our server was great to helping us time that order so it was ready for when we were leaving and still hot. Amazing service with great food and cute neighborhood. I think you can get dessert here but there's also a fun micro creamery across the street that was another delicious way to push deeper into food coma for the night!

We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.
