I had lunch at the West St., Tavern. A lot of people were there.. had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and Malbec. Everything was perfect. I will be back. Bartenders were excellent and attentive. Food was great.

Food is incredible. Great service. Exactly what Berlin needs. Hoping to become a regular. The steak and cheese sub will feed like 16 people.

Everything from the seats, tables, floor, all the way to the ceiling is grimy and dirty. Ceiling tiles missing as well. Just makes me wonder how dirty the kitchen is too. Hopefully not as disgusting as the bathrooms. The waiter literally just asked us if we used the side plates with our app and when we said no, he put them back in the stack he pulled them from. Awful. Food itself wasn't good either. Never again will we come here. Good luck if you do.

It made me feel normal being able to choose something from a full menu instead of trying to figure which of the 3 GF options I would wind up with. I appreciated that they had a designated server to deliver my gluten free dish to avoid any cross contamination. I would recommend this as a restaurant for those who are gluten sensitive to visit. I chose the Hot Honey Chicken which was a pickle brined, breaded, cajun seasoned fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. The chicken was really big extending past the bun both ways showing a crispy fried exterior with a small puddle of the hot honey puddling on the plate. The first bite proved it wasn't false advertising, it was tender and juicy inside with a nice flavor of spice with a pleasing crunch from the breaded coating. I couldn't put the sandwich down, mostly because I didn't want to put my sandwich back in the puddle of honey which would have made my bun soggy but also because that chicken breast poking out at me was begging for another bite. My Boo noticed I was really into the sandwich because he said it was unusual that I wasn't devouring my fries while they were piping hot (I love hot fries). They were good too but that hot honey chicken - yum! My Boo had, from the regular, not gluten free menu, the clam chowder soup and shrimp poke bowl. He enjoyed them both and they both look very appetizing but I only had eyes for my hot honey chicken. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the food but it came out very pleasing to the eyes. The only thing I thought the restaurant could improve on is the attire of their workers. First impressions matter and though the hostess was pleasant she should have given more attention to her attire and appearance. Also, our waittress didn't offer to refill our water. Other than that we enjoyed it. When we travel back through here, I'm coming again.

Sterling Street Brewery is a craft brewery that opened in Clinton, Massachusetts in October 2020…read more It was founded by longtime friends Brian Mason and Jesse Tarbell. Friends since high school, Mason and Tarbell have shared a passion for quality craft beer for quite some time. After years of visiting various breweries with their families and friends, the partners began serious talks about opening their own brewery. Not only did they aspire to open a brewery that featured a variety of beer styles, but also a family friendly taproom. Mason has an extensive background in homebrewing, and both partners have a background in business. Clinton was ultimately chosen as the location for their brewery because it lacked a family friendly brewery. A second location opened at Pathway Devens (a biomanufacturing campus operated by King Street Properties) in May 2024. I recently visited Sterling Street Brewery's original Clinton location for the first time. It was also the first time that I was meeting up a with a large group of New England-based craft beer bloggers/enthusiasts who frequently have meet-ups at breweries. The taproom was decent-sized with maybe 10 large tables available for seating. There were an additional 20 or so tables outside, but it was still a little too cold outside to utilize those. I would imagine that the patio area is popular during the warmer months. After grabbing some food from a food truck, I headed to the bar. I ordered a taster flight that featured "Newfound Pale" (Citra Pale Ale), "Otherwise" (New England IPA), "Michael Diamond" (New England IPA), and "Midnight Marauder" (Stout). I enjoyed them all, but I was most impressed by the Pale Ale. I later enjoyed full pours of "Gingerbread Snuggles" (Winter Ale) and "Double Sabotage" (Double New England IPA). The beer was solid, the space was nice, and I had a blast meeting and socializing with so many other local craft beer enthusiasts. I give Sterling Street my seal of approval and I hope to check out their Devens location in the future!

At least this one is more my style, smooth and a little hoppy. Also, I thought it was my imagination, but it had a faint taste of citrus. My second drink was the Sweet Cecilia, a sour raspberry beer. Going to sound counterintuitive, but it tasted too sour for me. I like a good balance of sour and the beer. When I was there, there was an event for rug painting, which was pretty cool. They also have small meals if you get a little hungry.
