FreshFin - Brookfield - Spicy tuna - Poke Near Me - Brookfield, Wisconsin

First visit was for lunch a couple of days ago. I live in Muskego so a little bit of a hike out to the Brookfield location for me. I was meeting my son so I went for it. It was worth it! We both had the standard spicy tuna poke. Really delicious. Tuna was very fresh and plenty of it. We had the regular size. We are both big guys and it was plenty for each of us. I can't imagine eating the large size. I deducted one star because it's a little pricey for a place without full table service. You order at the counter, take an order number, and place it on the table. They then bring your order a short time later. When finished, you bus your own table. But all that aside, I enjoyed it very much and would not hesitate to return. read more

it's yummy food! they get you your food pretty quick and don't mess up often. great service! the building is cute and Hawaiian. they also have spots outsid and the mood is summer. nice ambiance! read more

Had been watching and following FreshFin on Instagram for quite awhile and waiting for my husband to give in and go with me. He loves sushi so obviously he'd prefer it in original form than a bowl. The setup of the place is definitely reminiscent of Chipotle, with waiting in line and then taking a number for your food to be brought out. I had to try the original Spicy Tuna, which unlike it's namesake roll - is actually spicy. This is due to the generous portion of jalapenos sliced and mixed in. That's on me for not reading the menu closely, but they were easy to pick out. I loved the flavoring of the bowl aside from that. I'll admit that the price definitely gave me pause on whether I should order a regular or large, but ultimately ordered a large and it is definitely filling. I think I let my husband finish off the bowl, rather than be stuffed. He ended up trying the Coconut Curry bowl, and he's not a huge curry guy but he enjoyed it. If you compare the price to buying one roll at a sushi place, then you're getting a good value. However if you're all torn up about it not being in actual sushi form then skip this place. We will definitely be returning in the future, seems like high quality fresh food! read more

The food is excellent! The one issue I have is with their reward point system. My husband and I have spent hundreds there and never received the free meal that was promised (buy 10 get one free). I have asked the workers and they seem to brush that off as maybe the next time...- we've heard that several times now. read more

I really enjoyed the Yelp event here. However, I decided to wait to review until I went back here. I've now been back twice more. I guess you could call me a poke addict. The Poke lowdown for those who have yet to try: chipotle meets sushi. Except there's also bowls they put together so you don't have to think. I'd like to try to make my own but I'm sure it would not be as great as the menu items. On to those menu items! I really enjoyed the coconut curry shrimp. I think that might actually be my go to now. It has a little bit of a kick and combines two of my favorite ideas sushi and curry. I like the spicy tuna with rice but it's not as good with the mixed greens. There's too much dressing. I really enjoy the pineapple cucumber water that's available by the tea. I want to try some of the juices they offer but so far i've just had the water. The decor is really cute! Be sure to look up at the fish ceiling. The service has been good too. Both times my food was out before I could even scroll through my email once! I really like poke and I'm very glad it was added to the Corners. I've definitely been waiting all summer for it to open! read more

Always fresh tuna and the options for the bowls I love. Very nice people! I'm a forever customer.

Holy moly, I may never pass up the opportunity for poke again if every place has food as good as this one. Enjoying a spicy bowl on kolohrabi noodles (!!!) with tuna and shrimp (which they did NOT skimp on) and the spice and flavors are spot-on. The crab truffle salad is also great! read more

No joke, I took the day off and drove up from Chicago for my birthday. FreshFin is *that* good. We ordered a bunch of different things off the menu, all of which were fantastic and flavorful--unlike other poke places I've tried. The staff is really nice and the store is bright and cheery. Love this place! read more

The employee that took our order was very chill and helped answer many questions of ours. My bowl was delicious and the tuna was very yummy so was the mango very fresh. read more

This place is consistently good. Do you like sushi? Do you always feel hungry still after sushi? This the solution to your problem. Get the spicy tuna with all the extras for a delicious meal anywhere. read more

For fast food, this is great stuff. If you like sushi and salads, this is the place for you. Plus, it located right in the middle of the rich people mall, VonMaur Square. You can spend a pretty small amount of money ($15 for a meal) and walk around people who are loaded with cash. If you close your eyes, you can pretend you are in L.A amongst the stars. Also, not many people know this but VonMaur has sweet clearance racks! You can get $100 + shirts for like 70% off if you look hard enough! Seriously though, the food is great...super fresh! read more

This is probably the best poke bowl in Brookfield area, really delicious and good price! read more

Zuzu is one of the best employees I've ever met. Went above and beyond on everything and really impressed me with her customer service. So nice and genuine, I would go back just because of the employees alone. The food was AMAZING and I'll definitely be going back. read more

This is my favorite place to go of all restaurants . The food is crazy fresh and the spices and flavor is hauntingly captivating!! I can't believe it's so close to where I live! All my friends love it as there is a flavor for everybody. The staff and servers are so friendly , patient and well versed to describe all the dishes! I feel like it's my home away from home! If you like staff who smile and make you feel good and have great food , this is the best place. Definitely get your moneys worth! read more

This is my new favorite place! If you want fast food + healthy options this is the place. Love the concept of sushi/build your own bowls. Amazing! The people are very friendly and helpful when ordering too. I can't wait to try the other things on the menu! read more

FreshFin is a great go-to for healthy fast food. Since moving toward a more plant-based diet, I stick to the vegan bowl and it's delicious. Only suggestion is I could actually do with less avocado compared to the ratio of other ingredients in the dish. Everything is super fresh. Brown rice, greens, and kohlrabi noodle bases are all tasty. The only drawback is that the leftovers are never as good. Maybe offer a tiny size portion in addition to your regular & large sizes? read more

Just recently discovered that poke is a thing and Fresh Fin does it pretty damn well! I've tried something new every time I go. Tonight was the coconut curry bowl with shrimp and it's gotta be my favorite so far! Great food, fair price, I'll be back! read more

We have been here a couple of times now and it never disappoints. I have had dishes with the rice and the salad, love them both. We have taken out and eaten in, again no disappointment. Would highly recommend. read more

This was a cozy yet fresh place to grab lunch, especially if you're shopping in the area! Very quick, even during prime lunch hours. Somewhat newer staff made a mistake while I was placing my order, but a more senior server corrected the error and took off the charge for my (very minimal) troubles! A good and flavorful build your own bowl, and has options for almost any taste-- you can dress and zest them up or make a more classic bowl for pickier eaters like myself. I ordered a bowl with white rice and chicken, which sounds bland, but turned out very lively and tasteful. read more

My husband and I just love FreshFin. It's QUALITY, HEALTHY food for a fair price. This location always has friendly staff and attention to detail with making orders. I go there for lunch frequently, and we also take poké bowls home for easy dinners. They even have a great rewards program! read more

FreshFin never lets me down! They have such fresh and flavorful ingredients and every meal I've had has been delicious. As a vegan, I appreciate the clearly labeled menus (including the sauces, which can get tricky with fish sauces!) and all of the vegan options. The vegan "protein" option for build-your-own is a delightful mix of marinated mushrooms, roasted sweet potatoes, and avocado. I love that I don't have to pay extra for avocado; it is included in the vegan protein option. Toppings on build-your-own are unlimited, and all are very fresh and tasty. I also like that you can mix two base options (I like to mix greens and brown rice). Prices are standard of poké and are fair considering the quality and freshness of the food. Nice, modern, airy ambiance as well. Service is always friendly. So happy to see freshfin growing and expanding. I'll continue to be a loyal fan! read more

I enjoy poke a ton. FreshFin has super fresh ingredients and a great rewards program. I also enjoy their bowl of the month and they've had some great bowls. Typically the service is pretty good. But the poke place right down the road has given me such amazing service and have gone above and beyond, that they have made FreshFin my backup poke place. read more

Long overdue to try this restaurant and was not disappointed. Very streamlined, simple decor and atmosphere. If you have never been before it might take a few minutes to take it in and understand all the options. While you can build your own, bowl/ meal, we opted for suggested menu items. There are two sizes, the large turned out to be generous,so it was nice to see that they had boxes handy for leftovers. The food was excellent, I had the pork dish, my friend had one with shrimp. The food arrived very timely, and a great presentation. Loved the variety of flavors and textures in the dishes, so well balanced and was so great tasting. While I think the price is higher, the quality of products and freshness makes up for it. Service was nice, but nothing unique, order at the counter and it is brought out to your table. read more

Every time I've ordered online it's right and ready when they've estimated to be. I like being able to customize exactly what I want. It's always fresh and delicious! read more

I've been here once and I prefer Pokeworks better. I had ordered the Kailani bowl and I remember the bowl being a little bland. I had to add a ton of furikake seasoning for flavor-- to me, it was just not memorable. Maybe it was an off day? I'm not in a hurry to try them again any time soon, maybe if I'm in the area. :/ read more

It is so fresh extremely yummy every single time you will wish you started eating here sooner. No Joke

I went here on the recommendation of a friend, and when I walked in, it reminded me a little of Qdoba...you go up to the counter and order a "signature" bowl or build your own. The person behind the counter was super friendly and helpful, and I followed her suggestion and ordered the signature spicy tuna bowl. There was a substantial amount of tuna (raw sushi grade) in the bowl. It wasn't one of those dishes that you're searching around for the protein and maybe find 2 or 3 pieces, no this bowl was loaded! Add in greens, jalapeno, sriracha aioli, and other goodness, and you have one galactically tasty and healthy meal. My only complaint was the jalapenos made it a little too spicy for my taste, but you can add or subtract things to customize the dish. This is a fantastic, tasty and healthy alternative to traditional fast food. I will be back to build my own bowl. read more

Very fresh, fast and tasty. We ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl. They brought it to our table in less than 5 minutes. I can't wait to go again.

Healthiest "fast food" in town. Spicy tuna bowl is consistently good. Good service. Very clean.

This place is my STAPLE I'm super happy that I can come here during my breaks or whenever i need a healthy meal. Service is FAST!!

Very tasty, lots of options. Very quick online order fulfillment. For those watching calories the options are all reasonable.

The spicy tuna bowl is so fresh and tasty, I trust that the quality of the ingredients is there. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is very expensive. Extra protein costs $1.50 PER OUNCE.. kinda nuts. Great food if you don't mind dropping $20 per portion read more

Loooove FreshFin. Great food, easy to order. Food taste fresh. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend
