They both are Scrumptious with a capital "S"! Something smell fishy? You must be at pokéworks. I must say I prefer freshfin, for a place with a focus around raw fish, there is nothing fishy about it! First visit was for lunch a couple of days ago. I live in Muskego so a little bit of a hike out to the Brookfield location for me. I was meeting my son so I went for it. It was worth it! We both had the standard spicy tuna poke. Really delicious. Tuna was very fresh and plenty of it. We had the regular size. We are both big guys and it was plenty for each of us. I can't imagine eating the large size. I deducted one star because it's a little pricey for a place without full table service. You order at the counter, take an order number, and place it on the table. They then bring your order a short time later. When finished, you bus your own table. But all that aside, I enjoyed it very much and would not hesitate to return. read more

Had been watching and following FreshFin on Instagram for quite awhile and waiting for my husband to give in and go with me. He loves sushi so obviously he'd prefer it in original form than a bowl. The setup of the place is definitely reminiscent of Chipotle, with waiting in line and then taking a number for your food to be brought out. I had to try the original Spicy Tuna, which unlike it's namesake roll - is actually spicy. This is due to the generous portion of jalapenos sliced and mixed in. That's on me for not reading the menu closely, but they were easy to pick out. I loved the flavoring of the bowl aside from that. I'll admit that the price definitely gave me pause on whether I should order a regular or large, but ultimately ordered a large and it is definitely filling. I think I let my husband finish off the bowl, rather than be stuffed. He ended up trying the Coconut Curry bowl, and he's not a huge curry guy but he enjoyed it. If you compare the price to buying one roll at a sushi place, then you're getting a good value. However if you're all torn up about it not being in actual sushi form then skip this place. We will definitely be returning in the future, seems like high quality fresh food! read more

I really enjoyed the Yelp event here. However, I decided to wait to review until I went back here. I've now been back twice more. I guess you could call me a poke addict. The Poke lowdown for those who have yet to try: chipotle meets sushi. Except there's also bowls they put together so you don't have to think. I'd like to try to make my own but I'm sure it would not be as great as the menu items. On to those menu items! I really enjoyed the coconut curry shrimp. I think that might actually be my go to now. It has a little bit of a kick and combines two of my favorite ideas sushi and curry. I like the spicy tuna with rice but it's not as good with the mixed greens. There's too much dressing. I really enjoy the pineapple cucumber water that's available by the tea. I want to try some of the juices they offer but so far i've just had the water. The decor is really cute! Be sure to look up at the fish ceiling. The service has been good too. Both times my food was out before I could even scroll through my email once! I really like poke and I'm very glad it was added to the Corners. I've definitely been waiting all summer for it to open! read more

For fast food, this is great stuff. If you like sushi and salads, this is the place for you. Plus, it located right in the middle of the rich people mall, VonMaur Square. You can spend a pretty small amount of money ($15 for a meal) and walk around people who are loaded with cash. If you close your eyes, you can pretend you are in L.A amongst the stars. Also, not many people know this but VonMaur has sweet clearance racks! You can get $100 + shirts for like 70% off if you look hard enough! FreshFin is a great go-to for healthy fast food. Since moving toward a more plant-based diet, I stick to the vegan bowl and it's delicious. Only suggestion is I could actually do with less avocado compared to the ratio of other ingredients in the dish. Everything is super fresh. Brown rice, greens, and kohlrabi noodle bases are all tasty. The only drawback is that the leftovers are never as good. As a vegan, I appreciate the clearly labeled menus (including the sauces, which can get tricky with fish sauces!) and all of the vegan options. The vegan "protein" option for build-your-own is a delightful mix of marinated mushrooms, roasted sweet potatoes, and avocado. I love that I don't have to pay extra for avocado; it is included in the vegan protein option. Toppings on build-your-own are unlimited, and all are very fresh and tasty. I also like that you can mix two base options (I like to mix greens and brown rice). Prices are standard of poké and are fair considering the quality and freshness of the food. Long overdue to try this restaurant and was not disappointed. Very streamlined, simple decor and atmosphere. If you have never been before it might take a few minutes to take it in and understand all the options. While you can build your own, bowl/ meal, we opted for suggested menu items. There are two sizes, the large turned out to be generous,so it was nice to see that they had boxes handy for leftovers. The food was excellent, I had the pork dish, my friend had one with shrimp. The food arrived very timely, and a great presentation. Loved the variety of flavors and textures in the dishes, so well balanced and was so great tasting. I went here on the recommendation of a friend, and when I walked in, it reminded me a little of Qdoba...you go up to the counter and order a "signature" bowl or build your own. The person behind the counter was super friendly and helpful, and I followed her suggestion and ordered the signature spicy tuna bowl. There was a substantial amount of tuna (raw sushi grade) in the bowl. It wasn't one of those dishes that you're searching around for the protein and maybe find 2 or 3 pieces, no this bowl was loaded! Add in greens, jalapeno, sriracha aioli, and other goodness, and you have one galactically tasty and healthy meal. My only complaint was the jalapenos made it a little too spicy for my taste, but you can add or subtract things to customize the dish. This is a fantastic, tasty and healthy alternative to traditional fast food. I will be back to build my own bowl. read more
