    Chicken Ramen
    I M.

I was looking forward to this meal, but the chicken ramen came out lukewarm, and the ramen eggs looked...... off. I had two bites and was too wary to eat any more.

Today I went and got a large build-your-own poke bowl which came with a miso soup and water. For the food, I thought the bowl it came in for dining in was smaller than expected and definitely wasn't worth over $17. It tasted okay but it was so little that I was still hungry afterwards. The miso was okay but definitely not authentic at all. I appreciated that I got a while carafe for water. As far as service goes, the people working were very kind and patient. No issues there. In general, the ambiance was lacking. There were no wall decorations except for tacky neon signs and giant faux diamond chandeliers. There is no aesthetic cohesiveness whatsoever. There is also no free Wi-Fi which made watching a movie on my solo poke date kind of hard because I had to use my hotspot. Definitely nothing against the service but for the price, inconvenience, and ambiance, I wouldn't come here again.

The poke bowls are great! The amount in the large is definitely enough for one meal and sometimes a little left over. I've never had the chance to sit down and eat in as I've always had take out or ordered for pick up. Staff is always nice and helpful. Just tried the ramen bowl for the first time and can't say I was that impressed. Definitely enjoyed it but it's one of those that I wouldn't come back for a second. On the other hand the poke bowl I would definitely come back for a second and even a third.

Ahi tuna custom medium bowl- very good

Went opening week for BOGO bowl deals. Very busy at lunchtime which made me wait 25 minutes and bowls start at 14$. Probably a bit high but can pick and customize as many toppings as you want on your bowl. It is a very busy area to find parking and the food quality was okay but made better with the sauces. Reminds me of an Asian quoda since it is a chain and offers good portions. Would only go back if I had another coupon or deal that they offered.

Spicy Chicken Ramen! Perfect noodles and broth

The broth and noodles for the spicy chicken Ramen bowl were simply outstanding! Service was incredibly efficient, very prompt... Highly recommend any of their poke bowls, and Ramen Make sure you get their loyalty card... We will definitely be coming back several times, especially during the winter season!

The poke here is the best in the third ward. I usually get it to go. Not much ambience but tasty food.

She was able to describe how the various entries are constructed and the ingredients included. She also talked intelligently about the noodles that are made "in house" and what entries fit best with which noodles. We started with hot White tea and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The White Tea was very good, especially on this cold afternoon. (5 stars). The shrimp tempura was just okay. The breading was a bit oily and did not adhere to the shrimp. (2 1/2 Stars). I ordered the seafood Ramen and loved the flavor and the freshness of the ingredients. The Scallops were extremely good, great taste, and cooked just right. (5 Stars). My son ordered the Curry Ramen and thought it was good, but he felt that the jalapeno was a bit overpowering. (4 Stars). The noodles were very very good. Great ambiance, excellent service and a good variety menu. I'll be back for sure.

Our server was soo nice and on top of it!! There's super cute decor and art on the walls. Loved it! They have anime playing on 3 different tvs! We tried their house sale and it was good. We were there during happy hour so we took advantage of the buy one get one app 1/2 price off. We had the drunken mussels and birria bao. I wasn't too impressed with the birria bao, but loved the mussels!!! I had kimchi ramen and the boyfriend had seafood ramen. We both ate it all up it was so yummy!! I can't complain about a bit of it. It's a large portion so you can take some home too!! We added the black garlic but I wasn't impressed and found it tasting and feeling like just charred garlic instead of actual black garlic or fermented garlic. I guess I wasn't sure what to expect but I wouldn't add it again. Lastly we did get to try the Fire sushi roll and this was the absolute highlight of the meal for me! I loved it so much I had to bring another roll home with me! I couldn't get enough!!! i would visit this place again. It was fun, delicious and chill.

This visit we enjoyed their signature Xiao Long Bao (Shanghai Soup Dumplings), Szechuan Spicy…read moreWontons, and Yãn Su Ji (Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Chicken), and each had a Sake Flight. While the Xiao Long Bao is quite good, it is not great principally because the dumpling wrappers are twice as thick as the best versions of this dish making them chewier and very doughy. They are also so large you cannot enjoy them in a single bite and inevitably need a small bowl for leakage as you're eating them because you will make such a mess. Naturally, you want the ball so you can drink the broth that ends up in it. The Szechuan Spicy Wontons have a wonderful seasoning and sauce, but frequently are overcooked so the wrappers are a little too soft and mushy. I prefer them slightly al dente. The Salt and Pepper Chicken is consistently the best executed dish I've had there. Also known as Taiwanese, popcorn chicken, these bite-size lean pieces of chicken are perfectly fried and satisfying crispy. We were both surprised with how much we liked each sampling in our Sake Flight -- $12 (5oz) they went from dry to sweet as you would expect, and our biggest surprise was how much we liked the sweetest variety. Here are the three that were a part of our flight Kenbishi Kuromatsu, Gekkeikan Traditional, & Moonstone Coconut Lemongrass Nigori. An additional note, the service is generally exceptional, but the hostess stand tends to treat you as a customer to be processed not a guest to be welcomed. The interior is very basic. The tables are comfortably spaced by distance, but the bench seating is too crowded. Getting up to use the restroom feels like you're on an airplane where you're uncomfortably close to other diners. Menu details Momo Mee's Famous Xiao Long Bao $17 (Shanghai Soup Dumplings) This unique dish is filled with pork and simmered with homemade broth inside our handmade dough. Ok, so, I kinda loved my experience at Lucky Ginger from beginning to end…read more Myself and my dining companion dropped by without reservations and were able to get a spot at the bar. That said, I'd likely get reservations were I to stop by again. They're a bustling little spot and saw several groups who weren't able to get a table without reservations while we were there. Where we sat at the bar, we were able to see the kitchen and our food (and others) begin prepared which was fun to see (and also nice from a transparency standpoint). Let me tell you--they are hustling in that kitchen! I began with a berry smash whiskey cocktail which was refreshing and fantastic. For my dinner, I got the bbq salmon which came with a salad to start and rice and asparagus on the side. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The only small note I had was I would have loved more asparagus but honestly, I could probably ask for a side of that next time to amp up the veggies. The service was lovely and the prices were reasonable. Get to it!

Absolutely awful service. We came in at around 5:30pm, and the place barely had anyone there. We…read moresaid we didn't have a reservation, so they said we had to sit at the bar. So, we did. But luckily my husband quickly checked well before we were served and saw there were reservations available online, so he booked us one on the spot. We were then given two excuses, one by the bartender and a different one by the host as to why they couldn't honor the reservation: (1) there were no tables available for us (note the place was half empty, but we supposed maybe there were lots of reservations coming later--nope, the place was still half full by the time we left); (2) we had to make the reservations 30-40 minutes in advance and we didn't do that so even though we did have a reservation, they couldn't honor it because we made it too soon to the reservation time (WOW--complete BS). We were peeved but decided we should just enjoy our dinner. BUT as we were finishing up, about 5 couples came in WITHOUT a reservation and both the host and the bartender gave each couple the option to either sit at the bar or at a table. When I confronted the bartender about it, she claimed "they weren't supposed to do that." WHAT?! She literally just offered a couple a table without a reservation. What do you mean?! It was insulting. Anyway, we will absolutely NEVER come back here. The tip we left was solely for the kitchen staff who were hard at work and doing an honest job. Bartender and hosts are discriminatory and awful. Do NOT recommend if you are looking to be treated with respect. Would give zero stars if that were an option.
