It was ok... but I've also had great Ramen in Los Angeles. So I may be biased! So the concept and…read moreambiance of the restaurant are pretty cool. The front wall opens like a garage. Though, on a very hot day with hot ramen (though they also do sushi) the front should be shut. As for the Ramen. Some stuff worked and some didn't. The egg was delicious, soft boiled perfectly with jammy yolks and had great soy sauce flavor. The noodles were not over cooked and the meat was tender and flavorful. However, both mine and my husbands broth (I had the black garlic he had the pork) were not so great. Almost a metallic taste to them. Also, almost no vegetables in the Ramen. I was pretty disappointed. Mine only had green onions in it. The tempura was also kinda soggy. Some piece were crispy but on the broccoli and sweet potato, they were soggy. The server was great. They were very attentive. We did not complain about the food because we were hot and just wanted to hurry up instead of waiting longer. Also, they need to fix some of their tables that are very wobbly!

She was able to describe how the various entries are constructed and the ingredients included. She also talked intelligently about the noodles that are made "in house" and what entries fit best with which noodles. We started with hot White tea and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The White Tea was very good, especially on this cold afternoon. (5 stars). The shrimp tempura was just okay. The breading was a bit oily and did not adhere to the shrimp. (2 1/2 Stars). I ordered the seafood Ramen and loved the flavor and the freshness of the ingredients. The Scallops were extremely good, great taste, and cooked just right. (5 Stars). My son ordered the Curry Ramen and thought it was good, but he felt that the jalapeno was a bit overpowering. (4 Stars). The noodles were very very good. Great ambiance, excellent service and a good variety menu. I'll be back for sure.

Our server was soo nice and on top of it!! There's super cute decor and art on the walls. Loved it! They have anime playing on 3 different tvs! We tried their house sale and it was good. We were there during happy hour so we took advantage of the buy one get one app 1/2 price off. We had the drunken mussels and birria bao. I wasn't too impressed with the birria bao, but loved the mussels!!! I had kimchi ramen and the boyfriend had seafood ramen. We both ate it all up it was so yummy!! I can't complain about a bit of it. It's a large portion so you can take some home too!! We added the black garlic but I wasn't impressed and found it tasting and feeling like just charred garlic instead of actual black garlic or fermented garlic. I guess I wasn't sure what to expect but I wouldn't add it again. Lastly we did get to try the Fire sushi roll and this was the absolute highlight of the meal for me! I loved it so much I had to bring another roll home with me! I couldn't get enough!!! i would visit this place again. It was fun, delicious and chill.

We started with the pork belly bao and an order of soup dumplings. The pork belly was heavily sauced with a hoisin-type sauce and the dumplings were quite bland. I definitely recommend eating them with the vinegar and s side of hot pepper oil. I had the Szechuan beef noodle soup and my daughter ordered the Miso ramen. Both the soups pretty much looked the same. It seem like they use the same broth for both soups. My soup is very planned I had to add the vinegar for some flavor. The food was okay. Service was friendly. The interior is a basic eat in restaurant.

Ok, so, I kinda loved my experience at Lucky Ginger from beginning to end…read more Myself and my dining companion dropped by without reservations and were able to get a spot at the bar. That said, I'd likely get reservations were I to stop by again. They're a bustling little spot and saw several groups who weren't able to get a table without reservations while we were there. Where we sat at the bar, we were able to see the kitchen and our food (and others) begin prepared which was fun to see (and also nice from a transparency standpoint). Let me tell you--they are hustling in that kitchen! I began with a berry smash whiskey cocktail which was refreshing and fantastic. For my dinner, I got the bbq salmon which came with a salad to start and rice and asparagus on the side. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The only small note I had was I would have loved more asparagus but honestly, I could probably ask for a side of that next time to amp up the veggies. The service was lovely and the prices were reasonable. Get to it!

I'll preface by saying this was a poor experience with a door dash order - not the location itself…read more However, our experience with the ramen wasn't the best either. To start, our food was soaked with broth and the entirety of our order was ruined. Maybe it was a careless delivery driver, but I would argue that the packaging is suboptimal. Hot broth in a biodegradable (basically paper) container is a poor choice. Other places opt for putting the broth in plastic containers and wrapped in a plastic bag. It's not the best for the environment - but neither is completely wasting food. The broth itself was good, what little was left of it. The packaging for the ramen components was also not great - the noodles at the bottom stuck to the paper container, so that was not salvageable either. Very disappointed by the experience here, as reading reviews it seems so many have had great experiences. Perhaps this is a place to visit in person - be cautious with delivery.
