The hibachi rice is ok at best. Sort of flavorless, fine, overcooked steak, alright sides. The ramen was ok, the poke bowls were pretty great! My favorite thing on the menu is the avocado smoothie, which is sort of hard to find at most boba shops. Service is fine, seating is ok. I'll preface by saying this was a poor experience with a door dash order - not the location itself. However, our experience with the ramen wasn't the best either. To start, our food was soaked with broth and the entirety of our order was ruined. Maybe it was a careless delivery driver, but I would argue that the packaging is suboptimal. Hot broth in a biodegradable (basically paper) container is a poor choice. Other places opt for putting the broth in plastic containers and wrapped in a plastic bag. It's not the best for the environment - but neither is completely wasting food. The broth itself was good, what little was left of it. The packaging for the ramen components was also not great - the noodles at the bottom stuck to the paper container, so that was not salvageable either. Very disappointed by the experience here, as reading reviews it seems so many have had great experiences. Perhaps this is a place to visit in person - be cautious with delivery. read more

Wildly inconsistent when it comes to food quality. It will either be the best cut fish ever or you'll be stuffing to chew through the fat and odd coloring of crab. Rice is stale and hard or soft and delicious. Service is ok, very much so employees there to make food and turn a profit. Ambiance is ok, the place is clean and there's seating. No one stays or meets here, it's mostly pickup and DoorDash orders. Poke places can be skimpy with portions sometimes but this was a generous portion. There was also so much going on in the bowl- octopus, pickled ginger, seaweed salad, edamame, pineapple, roe, as well as rice, salad and cucumber. Fusion Poke as of may 2022 is the best Eat in Milwaukee Everything I ate had me in Ahh and couldn't believe how amazing everything was, this is the restaurant to take A group of friends or family. In fact there is no situation where you shouldn't try this food this food has surpassed all my expectations with stellar food and customer service. This is the place to eat if you're on the east side looking for the best bite around! I don't know why it isn't advertised but the wings here were the best wings I think I've ever had super crispy and like every entree I had here you get it right out the kitchen it wasn't drenched in sauce so it kept its crispy texture and cooked to exactly the perfect temperature it fell right of the bone and every bite has the perfect amount of sauce! These are the example of perfect wings I would literally just give five stars just from the wings this is my recommendation not just here but for all wings! Words can't describe how good these wings are! Next Recommendation would be the Black Garlic Ramen which also has A vegan version but I did not have that, mine came with Pork and it stole the show from the black garlic, the pork was well seasoned and melts right in your mouth you could break it apart with your tongue! The Egg noodles at least I think their egg noodles from the hint of egg has A light texture, everything in this bowl of ramen melts in your mouth nothing additional needed for this entree perfect as is The only appetizer I got and wasn't wow's by it was the mini churros and they weren't bad they just get out shined by all the other apps we got the tempura shrimp was lightly salted and had A great crisp tempura this is A quick eat because you can't keep your hand off the plate! The spicy tuna roll was very delightful it's exactly what it is A roll with spicy tuna but no complaints had A tasty spicy mayo on it! And the appetizer that beat the rest was the takoyaki balls it's hard to find or even make perfect takoyaki balls they came out with banko flakes on top with A drizzle of eel and spicy mayo sauce with chives we got the plate with steam coming off the top they looked so appetizing I couldn't wait for them to cool down and the first one I had burned my mouth but I couldn't stop eating them from how good they were it like everything else's melts in your mouth with A nice piece of octopus inside it was an explosion of flavor. I also got A coconut milk tea with tapioca and before you drink lose the straw it comes with A top with A drinking hole which surprising big enough for the tapioca more enjoyable this way All apps and entrees came out relatively fast and extremely hot eating here will get you lost in all the amazing flavors they have here I can't wait to come here again. Food took a long time to come out. And it didn't seem really busy. Pricey, as most poke places are. I came here because FreshFin wasn't open. It was ok; I got the salmon bowl. They had other options other than the poke bowl and a free smoothie came with the extremely pricey meal. However the smoothie was awful. I got the pineapple and I was not a fan at all. We stopped by Fusion Poke on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty quiet as it was between lunch and dinner, but the atmosphere was bright, clean, and pleasant. We tried the Tonkotsu Ramen, and we enjoyed our meals. The ramen wasn't spicy, so the gentleman working was happy to provide us with some Siracha, chili oil, and a shaker full of Japanese spices. Poke places have become kind of ubiquitous. They're everywhere. I noticed it last time I was in Chicago and Milwaukee isn't far behind. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a cool, fun concept and can cater to a lot of tastes. But maybe it also means that a poke joint has to do a little extra to stand out. I was wanting to try Fusion because they had ramen in addition to poke and because other reviews mentioned the free smoothie promotion. It's not that I needed the extra item to get me in the door, but it was nice, and I went when I was hungry enough to appreciate it. I've been sick again, so miso ramen and a pineapple smoothie was just the thing. The smoothie seemed to be mostly fruit and ice, which was nice because it wasn't overly filling or sugary. The ramen wasn't the best ramen I've ever had but it was good. The noodles had a nice chewiness and I got two egg halves. I'll have to come back for poke. They also deliver and the minimum and fee seem on point. Because you generally don't get either poke or ramen to have leftovers. I don't think it really replaces Fresh Fin but kind of complements it, even if that sounds weird. Their offerings are slightly different, as are their atmospheres. They both have the clean-and-modern thing going, but Fresh Fin has a slightly more inviting interior, while Fusion has their ramen and smoothie game. I kind of hate to see poke become the next Jimmy John's or whatever, but for now I think the neighborhood has room for both establishments. read more

I can't believe they're serving ramen, bubble tea, and rolled ice cream at this location! I created my own poke bowl here and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they serve fresh salmon here versus other poke places where they serve frozen fish. I also ordered a shio (salt) ramen from here and I was mind blown by it. I loved the broth! In my opinion, if the broth for a bowl of ramen isn't good then the whole thing is just meh. The broth is definitely the most important part in a bowl of noodles. I always order shio if I see it on he menu because not a lot restaurants have it, so take advantage of this place for having it! I highly recommend this place because of the variety food items they serve here. When I walked inside I was immediately greeted. It's a nice open space with a large menu on the wall. They have a variety of options to choose from, not just poke. I have course was in the mood for Poké since it's one of my favorites. I decided to do a build your own bowl and that day they had a special if you buy a large bowl you receive a free item such as a bowl of fruit, a smoothie, or a Tea. I decided I would get a coconut smoothie which was delicious! My poke bowl consisted of brown rice, edamame, crab salad, pickled ginger, seaweed salad, avocado, shrimp and salmon. Honestly I'm surprised that a poke place would have such flavorful and delicious ramen because I did not know this was a specialty. Tonkotsu broth was great. I chose spicy miso so as to have a little bit more of that tart fermented bite. Spice level was good but could've been higher. Overall though for the price point, surprisingly bangin.
