A few of us went here for lunch not too long ago. It was a Sunday and it wasn't busy. I like the decor-the fish wall hangings. It's located in Bayshore Mall, right across from Target. We each ended up making our own bowls, my companions getting tuna, with edamame and one with greens. I got the salmon with greens, edamame, cucumber, carrots, ginger, and other toppings. We were so hungry and gobbled down our bowls-so I only remembered to take photos when we were almost done! So the pictures aren't the greatest but it's proof we were there. The food was tasty, fresh, and healthy, and honestly, really tasty. I'm surprised there weren't more people, especially at a weekend lunch time and its location near Target. If you want good poke, I recommend Fresh Fin.

We are here all the time! It is so nice to have a slightly healthier option in the area! The spicy tuna and coconut curry with shrimp are particularly good. I also love their selection of fresh juices.

    Take out at home.

OMG(goodness), this is the most tasty and nutritious food I've ever eaten. I selflessly hope people are eating here as I never want to see this place leave. If you can find one dish that isn't remarkable, I would be surprised.

Great experience, wonderful food for people who are looking for something healthy and fresh I don't remember the guys name but was probably some of the best service we had in a long time . super helpful server Large portions

FreshFin is a welcomed addition to Bayshore, offering hand crafted poke bowls in a number of varieties, including a build your own. Service is fast, and the space is bright and airy, and the creative options along with fresh ingredients are a nice alternative to the typical mall "fast food." Prices are a little high, so be prepared for that, but the bowl sizes are generous, and the presentation is lovely. This is a great spot for a refreshing change of pace that still offers the benefit of convenience.

For the love of Poke we always trust Fresh Fin. My second visit in a month already.. !! I love to try new places for food.. and if I decide to come to a place twice in a such a short span of time, it surely has my heart :) I have probably been to all the Fresh Fins in the greater Milwaukee area so I am very glad to be coming back here again and again. We tried some of the newer flavors on the menu this time and it did not disappoint. I guess when you have quality ingredients, fresh fishes and some magic sauces to the mix, it most certainly becomes yummy. I am glad that when I came to Fresh fin after the pandemic the quality and taste remained spectacular and the menu only grew with new flavors! How awesome is that! Continue doing the great work you have been doing!

I'm a huge fan of FreshFin. Mostly because my experiences have been great with this company. I was ecstatic when I found out FF was coming to Bayshore because I live in Whitefish Bay, so going downtown was never ideal. Pricey, but typically worth it when you're not a regular. I would actually consider myself a regular but the big bowl is good for multiple meals, which makes it more worth it. I'm obsessed with sushi so Poke bowls are my jam! Parking is meh as it's in a mall. This place is inside the mall, right near the new target though, so feel free to shop and then eat delicious food! The staff are friendly and gave me some recommendations, which was great. I'll be back very soon. Probably tomorrow.

Woo hoo! So glad FreshFin opened a location in Bayshore Mall. I've been to most poke places that have been opening around Milwaukee in the last few years, and thus far I have not found one that is better than FreshFin. I like their concept, clean and fast, and delicious. We stood in line for over an hour (including the time it took for the food to come out) on their opening day (both opening days lol) we were so excited. Except for the opening day, I can now make online orders, so I don't expect I'll have to wait so long anymore for some fresh poke bowls. Rainbow Bowl - hubby had this both nights. With tuna, salmon, tobiko (which were different colors each night for some reason), and seaweed salad among other ingredients... and the Thai chili ginger and sriracha aioli drizzle, this is a great savory bowl for dinner Mango Tango - this bowl was a bit overdone with edamame. I felt like there was more edamame than rice. The Thai chili ginger and sweet shoyu sauces made this dish a tad too sweet for dinner for me. It was refreshing, and I can imagine it'd be great for those who have a sweeter tooth. Maybe for lunch or a snack. The mangoes weren't sweet themselves, probably because they really aren't in season? Spicy Tuna - This one also had Edamame, but much better balanced. The Sriracha aioli and sweet shoyu sauces are a great mix - not quite as sweet as the Mango Tango and with a little kick. I gotta say, though, that this was better when I had it at the downtown location. I think the cooks are still learning and too pressed for time with so many opening day customers. Look forward to becoming a regular here!

The food was good. Large quantities lower quality than other places. You can eat in or pick up. The food is made not as fast as you would expect because of all the online orders. I visit it a decent amount because it is good and fills me up compared to competitors. It has a nice modern feel to it also.

Wow! One of the best Poke' places I've been to! All the ingredients are so fresh and tasty with the right combinations of flavors! This particular location was located in Bayshore shopping mall attached to an entrance of Target. Small but the dining space was nice, clean, and welcoming! 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for fresh seafood and also healthy options. So many options to choose from. My friend also ordered the curry coconut shrimp bowl (not pictured) but I tasted it and it was a hit of flavor, very interesting but it works well! I would love to go again and try other bowls but it'll be hard to beat the rainbow bowl. I got the regular size which is more than enough for a $15 bowl. Great food for a great price.

If you are celiac or gluten-free, I don't recommend ever eating here. While they have a dedicated gluten-free menu with options for changing things out, on two separate occasions (of the 4 times I've been there) they've made a mistake. It puts you in a challenging and uncomfortable situation when you are curious about something actually being gluten-free. I know for myself, you don't want to insinuate that you don't trust your server! My most recent visit there I had the shittake/vegetable Ramen with rice noodles. I explained that I can't have soy sauce because it contains wheat. I explained that if they have tamari that they could check if it is wheat free because I often can have tamari instead of soy sauce. I explained that I can't have anything that contains wheat. My server informed me that she would make sure that this was gluten-free, that the rice noodles would be replacing the Ramen noodles. While eating I was curious if the noodles were not gluten-free, and I was informed that they do seem to be rice noodles. We were also sure to order the tofu as steamed rather than fried so that it would not have cross-contamination. (Due to first glutened experience) Later that night and the following day I can report that what I ate was not in fact, rice noodles or gluten free, and I have been glutened. On a previous occasion, I ordered the fresh spring rolls with a sauce that I was informed was gluten-free with tofu. While already eating this, the server came over and informed me that the tofu was not gluten-free, and had been fried. I think that there may be some lack of understanding what gluten-free means and how it impacts people generally in most of the food service industry. I believe they did their best to try to accommodate. That being said if you are celiac or gluten intolerant, please steer clear! Very unfortunate because it was tasty. I understand that as someone who needs to eat gluten-free that I am taking a risk by eating at a restaurant that is not gluten-free forward. Although they have a dedicated allergy menu, two out of the four times I've eaten there it hasn't made a difference. Great restaurant, not great for celiac.

I completely agree that this isn't authentic chinese food, but approachable fusion that tries to keep it truthful to the flavors and presentation. The highlight of the meal was the peking duck, which they only have about 2 orders of a night. We snagged it immediately when we sat down and it can easily feed 4 people with the sides. The duck was juicy and cut into thick pieces, so it was more of a steak rather than a bao style that I am used to. Nevertheless, it was delicious and even warmed up well the next day. The green onion wraps were...strange in my opinion. They fell apart easily and didn't have the best flavor that complemented the duck. Overall, I would come back for the duck itself, but everything else was average or extra salty. Service was great and the staff are very attentive. Happy eating!

The vibe: It was packed at 7:15 PM on a Sunday, and they held firmly to our reservation time--which is understandable given the crowd. We took a nice stroll while waiting, so no harm done. Once seated, the service was excellent--attentive, prompt, and professional. The food: This is clearly high-end Americanized Chinese food, not authentic regional cuisine. If you go in expecting that, you'll have a better experience. The menu reads like a "greatest hits" collection--familiar dishes done with nicer ingredients and presentation. What worked well: Smashed Cucumber - A strong start. The cilantro and bean sprouts were exceptionally fresh, and the peanut finish added nice depth, though the sauce leaned a bit salty for my taste. Service and atmosphere - polished and efficient. What fell short for me: Wonton Soup - The wrappers were thicker than I prefer; I like a more delicate, translucent skin. The leek-based broth was pleasant, though. Salt & Pepper Cod - The seasoning was good, but the cod pieces were too thick, so the center remained bland. Halving the thickness would improve the texture. Mongolian Beef - Tender meat, but I wanted thicker cuts and larger onion pieces for more bite. It leaned a bit soggy for my preference. Rice Cake with Pork Belly - Pork belly was well-executed, but too many rice cakes overwhelmed the dish. The flavor leaned Korean (almost kimchi-like), which felt like a departure from the rest of the menu. Beef Chow Fun - Felt repetitive, using the same thin-sliced beef and bean sprouts as other dishes. I'd prefer charred broad rice noodlesthat are thin. These rice sticks were wide and thick,so like the cod, the center of the rice sticks were bland. I also preferred more eggs in this dish for variety. The overall pattern: Many dishes share similar ingredients and sauce profiles, which makes sense for a busy kitchen but does reduce variety across the meal. Bottom line: If you're looking for authentic, nuanced Chinese cooking, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want a polished, upscale version of familiar Chinese-American favorites in a great location, with reliable service, Dan Dan delivers that well. I personally wouldn't return, but I can see why it's popular--especially for the crowd that wants comfort food in a nicer setting.

The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, so the greeter gave us some menus and let us know we could order and he'd find a table for us ASAP. We got to the counter and the cashier told us it would be a 45 minute wait. We accepted this and ordered anyway. We picked a curry, a noodle dish, and a Thai beer each. The cashier was very friendly. The original greeter found us a table almost immediately after we paid and mentioned the beer is especially nice over ice, so we took his recommendation. Beers came quickly, but food did take at least a half hour, as the cashier mentioned. Table and dining room were clean and nicely decorated with warm lighting and relaxing music. Bathrooms were also clean. Food was very good and flavorful. The portions were decent. We were full, ate most of our dishes, and didn't take anything home. The original greeter came back and checked on us while we were eating. Service was fantastic throughout the experience. The food was pricey, but aligns with other Thai restaurant prices in the area. Dishes were around $20. The whole experience was worth it. We will be returning!

I think it was alright/men overall - for me, not anything special or memorable (but if you ask my sister, their chicken dishes are good!). We had takeout, so I can't necessarily speak to the cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant, but the exterior is clean!
