Everyone thought the food was just okay, nothing to rave about. But for me, I really didn't enjoy the flavors. For instance, the scallion noodles just tasted like ginger, it was overpowering. The ramen wasn't flavorful and others agreed. The meat was good though. The crab rangoons were very interesting because it was liquid lava in there, no substance. But the flavor was yummy. I consider Easy Tyger to have the best vegetarian ramen in the city. The restaurant itself is a little hidden and hard to find, but once inside the ambiance is great with lots of seating. I recommend getting a reservation as they are usually busy for dinners. They have super delicious and varied Asian options that it makes it hard to choose dishes as they all sound great. My favorite is the buttered corn ramen which has a flavorful broth and a lot of buttered corn (my favorite). The flavor is super delicious and multi-dimensional. First time here. Had reservations for 6:30 on Saturday and got right in. They were busy but not packed. It's a nice space. Plenty of room, interesting decor, and the noise level was not too bad. Took a little while to get our waters, drinks, and place our order. Ordered a hot tea and a cocktail, and both were good. We ordered a couple bowls of the Ramen, which both came out hot, flavorful and good portions. My Tonkotsu was good, with the exception of it being overly salted. Towards the end of the bowl, with just the noodles and broth, it was hard to finish. After our food came, our server never showed back up until the check, so no opportunity for any more hot water for the tea. It was a good, but not great meal. This place has some of my favorite food and drinks in Milwaukee and easily my go to ramen place. I love this place so much, I've been there twice in the last month and bring all of my out of town visitors here! I always get the lychee martini which is top notch: sweet, boozy, and SO flavorful of lychee and lemongrass. It's a perfect drink. I've also tried several of the appetizers including the Brussels sprouts, fries, and Rangoon bites. All of them are excellent, but my personal favorite are the Brussels sprouts which are caramelized to perfection and the sauce it's seasoned with is excellent. The Rangoon bites have tofu which, as a tofu-hater, is surprisingly tasty. The outside is crispy and the inside is so creamy; if no one had told me, I would have never known it was tofu. The fries are a good pick also - they're my husband's favorite. I've tried the scallion noodles which is their broth-less entree. It's okay, a little too sweet with pineapple for me, so probably not one I'd get again. But the buttered corn ramen and spicy miso are both AMAZING. I usually get the buttered corn while my husband gets the spicy miso and I always sneak in some of his broth because it's that good! Again, as someone who doesn't enjoy tofu, the tofu in the ramen is nicely battered and crispy. The service is sometimes hit or miss, but overall it's good. This was such a fun spot for a date night! We were seated super quickly and it wasn't too busy on a Thursday evening. All of the drinks were super unique and delicious - I had a variation of a piña colada with bubble sake and it was so good. The bao buns were really flavorful, and we had their seasonal special of a ramp noodle bowl which was super tasty! The portions are a good size to be able to share with others or eat yourself. As always, parking on Brady St. is tight during dining hours. If you hit them up for happy hour, you should have an easy finding a spot. I have yet to dine at a table, but there is usually room at their bar. They also have limited outdoor seating in the summer. Their menu is phenomenal and they always have enticing specials. I'm just going to say right away at the top that this was the best ramen I've ever had. Honestly, overall, it was probably one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. We had Saturday evening dinner reservations, and based on how full the place was, I'd recommend reserving a table. I let the host know we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the manager came over to wish us a happy anniversary, and then made the evening extra special by sending over some extras throughout the night on the house. Heather was so amazing, and really made the night feel special. This is the first time I've ever left a ramen spot feeling STUFFED. Granted, we got so much food, but all of it was amazing. We got lots of appetizers, starting with the "Blistered Edamame", then we got a big ol' bowl of the "Fried Brussel Sprouts", some of the "Beef Brisket Bao Buns", and topped the first course off with some "Rangoons". I would recommend each and every one of these. I'm not usually a fan of brussel sprouts, but these were INCREDIBLE (and reheat great in an air fryer for leftovers). The rangoons were also delicious. My wife and I absolutely love rangoons, and these were definitely not a traditional take on them, but they were fantastic. The texture was wonderful. And I could definitely make a meal of just bao buns. They're so unique, and they came out looking like they could be in a magazine. The cucumber kimchi and daikon was so FRESH. I got the "Steak Shoyu" ramen (pic included) as my main entree, and my wife ordered the "Beefy Boy". This was the most loaded down ramen I've ever had, and every bite was incredible. The flank steak was so perfectly prepared, and just soaking up all of that tasty broth. The noodles were just right, and all of the extras enhanced the whole bowl. Presentation is a big part of ramen, and these bowls came out just gorgeous. My wife was also wowed with her entree choice. I only tried her broth, but can report that it was delicious The atmosphere is also very fun. Tons of great artwork to keep your eyes busy, and we were lucky to be seated at the window, which was great for people watching. Brady Street was an endless parade of people bar hopping, so lots to take in. Parking is never great in this area, but we lucked out with some street parking right around the corner. That can always be hit or miss on Brady, but we hit with a spot opening up like thirty seconds away. The staff were attentive and friendly and quick with the refills. It's an open cooking area, integrated into the restaurant space, and you could tell that the staff all loved each other and were having fun while cooking up these masterpieces. This is an easy five star for me. I'll definitely be back. I may have found my favorite new spot. Beautiful artwork on the walls. Clean and bright. We were there right at 4pm, so it was very quiet. Food: Truly wonderful. The crispy tofu bao were light but flavorful. My son, a picky vegetarian, got the spicy miso and finished his bowl. I got the tonkotsu, which the waitress warned would be rich. It was full of flavor, but indeed very rich. I ate about half and took the rest home for later. Price: Not cheap, but certainly reasonable. You get what you pay for, and it was well worth the $50 bill. Service: Friendly and informative. It's in a popular neighborhood, but it takes forever to find a parking spot especially when I'm starving for ramen!
